  1. STUPID PEOPLE

AIN’T NOBODY CHECKIN FOR THOSE UGLY ASS SHOES.
NIKES & JORDANS >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> VANESSA AND ANGELA’S LIFE

  2. Someone is checking for them if they sold 15 million worth.

  3. LAQUANDA

WOW WAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT…WELL CONGRATS 2 DEM.

  4. Junior in Jamaica

I like Tia, but she needs to stop doing that cross feet pose LOL.

  5. ebz

Why must folks always be so negative. You may not like them, but clearly somebody does. I wish these girl much sucess in the future. Congrats Angela and Vanessa!

  6. i loves me soME chocolate! yum

I LÓVÊS MË SOME CHOCOLATE! PASTRIES

  7. Brittney from Toronto

    15 million??

i haventseen one person rock a pair of those shoes

  8. WhatIThinkIs

Angela looks mad! (Or maybe Vanessa looks mad.) One of those girls has the mean mug look on her face. But anyway, they are both so beautiful. I wish I could have my own line of shoes!

  9. Aaron

15mil????Who the hell is rockin the garbage???Lawd have mercy seems like u throw a sneaker out there with a whole bunch of colors and its selling. I swear i havent seen anyone with this on thier feet. What is their key demographic 4 the shoe angel?

  10. Bobbito

My friend is buying them up like crazy. I’d be getting them if I had a job LOL

  11. @ 11. I’m assuming they are targeting the younger crowd (i.e. elementary and middle school girls). If you peep their line of bags, it just looks real young. I wouldn’t rock their sneakers because they just look like rip-offs of other brands. Can’t knock them though, because they are doing something right.

  12. ThinkAboutIt

The Simmons Sisters are doing their thing… there are a lot of upstart businesses that wish they sold $15 mil the first year. Congratulations to them.

As far as the obligatory question “who wears/buys that sh!t”? folk say the same thing about Sean John and Rocawear and they are still grossing over $200 and 300 mil a year.

Ever consider the world is bigger than your fashion circle of friends?

  13. WHYASKWHY

    THE POINT IS:

    ***They are positive woman
    ***They represent us well
***They are trying to make their OWN money
***They are not drinking and driving
***They are not showing their behinds
    ***They are not doing drugs

    THEREFORE, we shouldn’t hate.

The target audience is middle/high school.

  14. Alisha

@#15 I agree completely!!! CONGRATS ladies!!!!

  15. ms_mac

@ 11, I know they do big biz in NY.
On a positive note, at least they’re at the start of creating a legacy for their future generation. I just hope their kids become inspired to do something uplifting with that legacy. Lord knows another sneaker line is not going to help save the planet.

  16. Pretty In Prada

Congrats to the Simmons sisters… It’s been a year already.
I support Pastry, I buy them religously, i wish people would stop hating on black successful young woman we need more of them in the industry.
I’m sure if Nicky & Paris Hilton did something they get all the praise from white folks

  17. Casey 101

Congrats to Angela & Vanessa on their 1year anniversary !!!
    * Polow da Don and Nelly in pic, damn thats a blessing… LMAO (SEXY)

  18. Black Beauty

Awww congratZ to Angie & Vanessa, 1 year is a good look, 15 million, diffently a good look.
Angela looks like she’s lost weight, it doesn’t look bad either.
    I agree with ( # 19) Polow Da Don is Sexy !!!

  19. sexsee

I know a lot of my nieces friends has pastries….

  20. FIFA

I cannot understand why the sisters cut their hair just to end up wearing it long again. ie; weave.

  21. Fine-N-Mellow

I Love these young Ladies. Congrats to them for their success from the sneaker line. Although I wouldn’t rock them myself they are cute for my daughter.
    Do your thing Ladies !!

  22. Intrigue216

I know those shoes are hot in NYC, their all about colors out there. #15 was so on point with that comment. Even though I don’t like the shoes, I’m not going to say anything negative because they are young black females making money. They don’t have to show off their bodies or better yet, sell their bodies to advance in that type of industry.

  23. TamDiggy

My nieces also rock Pastries– One is in middle school and is in 10th grade. They’re cute shoes and it is great to see to young ladies take pride in themselves by attempting to make their own way world— and doing so with class, style and poise. I agree totally @15! These girls deserve mad props!

  24. the misses

angela looks like she just saw bow wow’s bday party pics in the post below lol. she doesn’t look happy at all in the first few pix

  25. the misses

  26. TLC

Dqamn Im really feeeling Angela’s electrc blue or is it powder blue NAIL Polish…thats mad hottttt

  27. Charlise

WOW!!!- Nothin like seeing two YOUNG BEAUTIFUL sista’s making millions. Not to mention, they are such a good example of what young businesses women should be. Everybody ain’t got to be shaking they azz to make a dolla!! SOO PROUD OF THEM!

  28. MAI03

Congrats to the Simmons sisters, they are making a name for themselves besides just Rev. Run’s daughters. Go head!

Might I just add that Nelly brought all his sexiness all up & thru that party (whooo child!!!!)

  29. Imsofamous

My daughter is 12 and she loves these shoes. She’s been waiting the arrival of the handbags. Also, the line is pretty reasonable.Somebody needed to make something for the youth.

  30. VOTE FOR RON PAUL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow Tichina do look pregnant but more importantly, why the hell is she out alone at every party, ain’t she got a kid like damn stay the hell home. She is at every party in LA its ridiculous.

  31. Mz Coko

I am sure the kiddies r eating up that Pastry line if they have been that successful…not my cup of tea though. Glad they found something that works…shoe business is hard to stay in..look at Uncle Russ…50 Cent…etc.

  32. SweetThang729

They look absolutely beautiful and isn’t it funny that almost everyone in attendance looks descent as well….

Haven’t bought or seen anyone rocking pastries but these girls do have style!!

  33. MSPENCE

Actually, sometimes, it depends on where the shoe was sold, and the type of customers that are more likely to buy it..I live in DC and A LOT of young kids) wear their sneaks..The r cute, but a little gawdy, sometimes..But I’m glad their doing well.. We need more BLACK entrepreneurs!!

  34. Dame The Rockets are 22 straight!

The party looks nice. I love Runs House and they have a strong family unit.

  35. STDcommunity

Those girls are great. I was told that two of them helped some HIV girls on our STD community site last year. And their blogs get the most replies everyday

  36. Lady Architect

Wow a year already. I’m very proud of them and happy they sold 15million in their first year. All the negative comments just don’t make much sense to me. I think the sneakers are cute for little children rather than buying your child a pair of jordans just to say that your child wears jordans. They are young black women who chose to go out and pursue something rather than bite off their dad’s money all of their life and I appreciate them for that. They also not out there shaking their behinds in some video.

  37. Alexis

KUDOS @ BOTH OF EM>> THATZ INSPIRING!!! DID ANGELA GET A NOSE JOB?

  38. WHAT ARE TICHINAS BOOTS???

OHI LORD THERE GO TIA AGAIN WITH THAT CHICKEN POSE……ALL I NEED TO DO IS SEE THOSE CHICKEN CLAWS CROSSED AND I KNOW ITS HER!

TICHINAS BOOTS ARE HOT! WHAT ARE THEY??????

  39. LuvsIt

Congrats to the girls! And I toally agree w/ # 15.

  40. cl lover

Everyone looks nice and like they’re having a good time. Polow’s head looks small compared to the rest of his body.

  41. HELLO

I’m so proud of their accomplishments even though they come from a wealthy family it shows that WOMEN can accomplish all that they aspire to..I’m not fond of the pastries but I love the CHOCOLATE!!

  42. Tiff

I love it! These girls used their famous name to do something productive and positive! Not get drunk and party! Good job ladies! I see chicks all over NYC rocking Pastry! Don’t hate!

  43. Truth

Congrats to two positive young women!

  44. RICH BITCHES! I like Angela’s Dress n the guest r too old to be wearing Pastry, so I know it was just for the support.

  45. Keisha

I don’t see why ALOT of products sell and make millions of dollars, but i’m happy it was 2 black, beautiful females doing it this time around! Get that money girls..
    The rich get richer…

  46. kris"e"tina

congrats to the ladies! i haven’t seen them here in dallas, but that doesn’t mean anything, lol! tichina looks good in that yellow…

  47. The Wire Addict

I really like the Simmons’ Sisters, but I know I can’t be the only one who thinks the $15 million in sales is an exaggerated, publicity-driven lie. I have seen only 2 girls within the last year rock those shoes in my state. I live on the east coast, but maybe they are pretty popular in the midwest or westcoast????

I’m not knocking their hustles, but the shoes are poorly made. But their cool for the teeny boppers, high schoolers. I’m in my late twenties, so I would rather rock some fresh, well-made nikes.

  48. Inspired 1

These girls are very beautiful, intelligent, young respectable women. We should be supporting them and not tearing them down. They are doing something positive, productive and constructive with their lives. Its sad that we don’t get to see news stories about the good that black celebrities do in the media. Its ashame that all we see is these white celebrities breaking down, not wearing panties, and participating in other self destructing behavior. People no one else is going to support us (people of color) nearly as much as we can support our brothas and sistas….so please stop the hatin’

  49. SSWEET WEST INDIAN GAL

DEY GOT CUTE SHOES BUT I DNT THINK I WUD SPORT THOSE SHOES DOWN D BLOCK OR 2 D MALL

  50. The Wire Addict

I agree with you #50!!! But that is exactly why I don’t believe they sold $15 million…because I haven’t seen more than 2 black people in the entire state of Maryland wear these shoes–and trust me i get around. When we as black people start opening our wallets to this African-American owned sneaker company, then they will actually sell $15 million in pastries..lol

  51. MS KNOWLEDGE

those shoes are soo cute. and I like angela and vanessa they seem real cool and humble and so does their family. It is soooo awesome and inspirin and motivatin especially for a sister like myself who also wants to become her ownb selfmade entreprenuer to see other BLK sisters representin in a positive light doin their own thang and handlin their own buisness….CONGRATULATIONS TO ANGELA AND VANESSA…..I HOPE MORE SUCCESS COMES THEIR WAY. I WILL BE BUYIN ME SOME PASTRYS THIS SUMMER :)

  52. kimwill02

My 5 year olds have Pastry Shoes they love them!
    Vanessa and Angela – Congrats!!

  53. nessnice

vanessa need to stop playin and let me wife her…

  54. MS KNOWLEDGE

I SEE ALOOOT OF HATAZ./..plz dont hate on these two young sisters we as a blk community are always supportin those outside of our race yet yall wanna complain that blks arent doin anything but soon as a blk person blow up the next blk man wanna hate…its tooooooo much hatin within the blk community thats is why it is soooo hard for a blk person to reach the top and yall wanna rep for a blk president yea right………ANGELA AND VANNESSA ALL SHOES ARE THE CUTEST AND CONGRATZ ON THE SUCCESS ONCE AGAIN.

PS…I HOPE THESE GIRLS KNOW THAT BEIN SUCCESSFULL AND BLK COMES WITH ALLOOOOT OF HATAZ ESPECIALLY THOSE THEIR OWN RACE.

  55. i actually like their shoes although i would buy them for my daughter, not for myself. they are cute for young girls to wear. of course they dont sell them where i live (in the land of entrapment aka new mexico). but i do applaud them for doing something for themselves instead of living off of their parents like they could be doing.

  56. KSH

    Everyone looks good.

My 11 year old loves them! Between me and her dad’s side of the family she has 4 pair. So the kiddies are checking for them for sure!

    The Simmons look so cute!

  57. the one is back

@52 and 50 we don’t wear their sneakers but NYers and NJ people do. I know the East Coast has some of the most fashion forward and backwards people, but there are other states and obviously someone is rocking their shoes.

I do not wear multicolor anything, so it doesnt appeal to me, but if they toned it down I would support them because I like these sisters!

To the Simmons sisters keep doing you’re thing. Isn’t it great that these sisters have a positive image to counter balance people like the Kardashians (sex tape, naked pictures, inappropriate behavior) and somehwhat the Knowles (with the shot gun wedding and baby at 17).

I am older then them but I look at them as role models of what really having God in your life and a loving family can do.

the one has spoken…is Toschinna (sp?) Arnold pregnant or is it the dress…just asking?

  58. the one is back

I meant to say keep doing “your” thing…my bad!
