I had problem with Tameka and Usher at first but I gained a lot respect for him. No matter what we say he defends her and he loves her and I love that!

I read that Essence article and it made me mad because of the garbage she was saying. Like the only reason people think she’s ugly is because she’s not light skin, or mixed a certain size and 25. She said black women think this way because we as black women don’t like ourselves etc. No…if you ugly you ugly. It doesn’t matter your complexion. There are plenty of beautiful black women out there that noone would contest as beautiful. Like Naomi Campbell, Gabriel Union,Lauryn Hill(back in the day Lauren now ) etc. I felt she disrespected many black women by generalizing and depicting us as so narrow minded as to think that beauty comes in only one shade. I think she is going to have an overall negative impact on Usher’s career. His single is hot but with Trey songz, Kesley, Chris Brown and the other hot singers out now, I think Usher’s time has come and gone.

Okay she is not pregnant anymore so now what is the excuse in her looking too too tired…

I’m going to be honest here, in the past I’ve said mean things but never call her ugly just THERE. I don’t know her personally, she could be the nicest person.

The issue I think a lot of ppl are having is:
1) How she got w/Usher and the fact she was the side line girl waiting to be front and center when Usher was dating other women including Chilli, that’s why in Essense she was sooo confident in “claiming of the other women he was dating didn’t appreciate him”.

2) His mama don’t care for her, true Usher is a grown man but his mama was there during his whole career and for her not to show up not at 1 or 2 but his 3rd wedding to her. Not sure what the deal is with that it just seem fishy.

3) The drama we had to endure last year, seem like every other week Mrs. Foster-Raymond was on blast with some foolishness as if she was the STAR, please a lot of us are Usher’s fan not his wife and that will still be that way. I felt Tameka was trying to promote herself to fame instead of her husband. What started it was that damn Essense picture and the comments and it went down hill from there.

4) I can care less about her color, to ME Tameka has a ugly spirit about her and it’s not appealing at all. It’s just something about her that rubs me and others the wrong way.
