We’re killing ourselves…our fascination with these celebs is being sold back to us in the form of things like this, silly products that make you “cool” or “in the know”… Why in the world would we need one of the most famous athletes in the world on a FASHION MAGAZINE? Giselle has a gorgeous high fashion look and though small she’s quite shapely. I think it’s the Victoria’s Secret deal (although she has more deals that any model in the world)…Victoria’s Secret is so skanky…It’s so bad the director has announced they’re going to take a new, classier direction. It’s because of Tyra’s Victoria’s Secret deal that I almost have to remind myself that she was a reputable model. Anyway, Giselle’s good… She doesn’t have the personality of Kate Moss, but she’s definitely a model…

I am not a huge fan of Alicia Keys but I do respect her gift so I can’t hate on her. She is very talented. She has a few songs from each CD that I usually like but no more than that. It is good to know that some one other then Beyonce can be on the cover of a magazine in another country. Dont’ get me wrong Beyonce is doing her thing and I am a fan of hers.

I agree with 2-4-6-and 7. I did not know who Giselle was until 2 years ago. LeBron issue is not attractive at all. I really do not get this cover of Vogue at all. Vogue tried J. Hudson on her cover.

Janet is a legend so once again you have to respect her talent. I have not been a fan since PLEASURE PRINCIPAL and THAT’S THE WAY LOVE GOES. However, when she releases a song- I will always listen to see if she is going to come out with more soul instead of pop. I don’t understand why she sounds like she is trap in time. JD needs get her up to par with the rest of the game. It’s not her voice, hooks or bars it’s the beat. When I go out to the club her songs are not in rotation and I talking about hiphop/r&b clubs.

On that note- I am proud of Alicia, Lebron and Janet. They are talented black people.

Ok so this “King Kong capturing the damsel in distress” on the cover of Vogue is offensive. Not only does this man look like an ape, but he’s got this good ole prize, a white woman on his arm. There are a number of black high fashion models they could’ve paired him with and other shots they could’ve used of him. At least put him in a suit. He carries a suit VERY well.

Nice Cover for Alicia and the Vogue Cover has both LeBron and Giselle looking a little odd. But they probably went againist the suit for LeBron since they are focused on his body for the issue.

I saw Lebron’s cover yesterday. It looked weird to me to say the least. I was excited when I heard that he would be on the cover, but I noticed the (coincidental I hope) similarities between his cover & J-Hud’s cover with the mouths being open. I will note that Oprah’s cover did not require her to be in the same pose. The cover looks almost like too separate pictures b/c of his casual clothes and Giselle’s formal clothing. I also am questioning why it looks like she is running from him. It’s definitely something for the watercooler.

i just don’t come up with the concept that most of you have come up with, I think the picture of Lebron is not in suit, because it relating to shapes, and they are giving you two different angels of shapes, and if you look inside the magazine, it is different ones as well, we are always so quick to make something out of nothing, if there had never been any blacks on Vogue we would complain about that too, SMH, all I can say is FOLKS, GO FIGURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think if I learned anything from watching ANTM, it’s that it’s hard to take an action shot and still look high fashion, especially working with another male model. So, if she looks crazy it’s because it probably wasn’t an easy shoot. And he’s waaayyy bigger than her. They look alright. No, it’s not the best photo, but maybe there are some better ones inside the magazine.
