Whether she wins or not is up in the air but she will surely be nominated. Oprah isn’t willing to wait for nothing, she witnessed the magic already. Get ready world for the performance that will be talked about for many years to come. Go Fantasia.

Additionally, I love how Fantasia is putting her music first, you know where her heart really is cuz anybody else would have been jumping all of this role to do it immediately. I’m happy she’s staying true to her real love of music first. In the music industry you can fake it and buy your way to the top so that it seems that your succesful but the movie industry is a whole different ballgame.

She has been fake for so long, trying to be something she is not, she doesn’t know how to act like a normal person anymore.
And that’s why she will never be a good actress because she lacks the personality you need to portray a character.

I think this one is going to be excellent. Movies are turned into musical movies all the time. Plus, the original Color purple was some 20-25 years ago, it’s time to bring it back in an updated way. I can’t wait.

Beyonce can sing (her runs can be annoying) but she is not a good actress! I’m sorry but it’s the truth. The movie will do well because her stans will suport it but it wont be oscar worthy nor will she put on an oscar award performance.

IMO nobody should have gotten an award for dream girls because the movie wasn’t all that.

Let me clear this up before it gets crazy: I was saying she didn’t buy into “Cadillac Records”…she got the role…but the whole “Executive Producer” thing is about publicity for the movie… It’s in competition with another movie and both will be filming at the same time… It might be sort of interesting to see how it goes… I think it will hurt them…because people respect smaller films so much now…pushing the Beyonce as producer card is so obviously commercial that the other flick might be the more lauded film.
