Ciara is hard at work in the studio working on her third album. Although the title is not yet revealed, Billboard.com reported that the album is under work with release date slated to be either August or early September. The new album will be the singer’s follow-up release to 2006′s The Evolution, which released a host of singles into 2007.
This time around, Ciara is tapping producers Polow Da Don, who produced her first single from Evolution, “Promise,” as well as Timbaland protege, Nate “Danjahandz” Hill, who has been knocking out plenty of hits over the past couple years, as well as hook master T-Pain and the talented members of The Clutch, who she worked with on her second single, “Like A Boy.”
In February, Ciara also held a national audition to seek dancers that will accompany her in promotion of the third album. Anticipation for the audition was running high that she added a couple more dates in March for more dancers. In addition to recording, Ciara is also starring in the film adaptation of Mama, I Want to Sing!, co-starring it with Patti LaBelle. The FoxFaith production is slated to hit theaters later this year.
I’m actually kind of a anxious to see what Ciara is going to come up with this time around. I liked a lot of the songs on Evolution. I liked the direction it was going in – I just hope that she changes her look up a bit.
KELLY’S DIVA DELUXE RELEASE
Former Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland will digitally re-release her deluxe edition of her sophomore album, Ms. Kelly, next Tuesday, March 25th! The re-release contains a couple of new songs, including “Daylight,” which has been getting a lot of video spins on MTV2. It also features the Tank-produced second single from the re-release, “No Man, No Cry,” which we posted earlier this month.
I’m still waiting on Kelly to release that video for “Come Back” that she’s been promising. A snippet leaked a few weeks ago and was supposed to drop soon after that, but I’ve heard nothing of it. Closer to the release of the deluxe edition, we will definitely post up some tracks from Kelly’s re-release.

Ummm whomever said that Kelly Rowlands song Work is doing/did better then her old song with nelly dilemma is bringing out figures from their ass. Dilemma was #1 in 10 countried and #2 in 5 or so.
