A new Mariah Carey photo has leaked for the promo of her 11th studio album, E=MC². Mariah, who gave a less than stellar performance on MTV’s premiere of The Hills on Monday night, is dropping the new album April 15th. I am excited to hear what the new material is going to sound like, even though I was not at all impressed with “Touch My Body.” Hopefully, a version of the T-Pain featured “Migrate,” which is slated to be the second single, will leak soon to rekindle the flame of interest I had in this project.

Mike Jones is coming back with a new album, entitled Voice of the Streets. Not only has Mr. Jones come back with all new material, but also an all new, slimmer look.
“I speak for the people,” Jones explains about his choice of album title. “Everybody whose voice is important in their community and the game, they consider themselves a voice. My voice is very relevant in this game. I let them know my voice is still being heard and listened to by people in the streets.”
The lead single is called “Drop & Gimme 50,” featuring Hurricane Chris and the album will also feature productions from Mr. Collipark, DJ Toomp, J.R. Rotem and cameos from Lil’ Wayne, Twista and rapper-turned-singer, T-Pain.
I honestly thought that 2005′s Who Is Mike Jones? was the last that we were going to here from him, but from what I’ve been reading, he’s been giving some heat on this next album. Hopefully it will do as well as his debut did.

After a show with BBC 1Xtra, Kelly Rowland announced that she will start recording her third solo album next week. Kelly just released the Diva Deluxe edition of her album just yesterday. The release contains productions from Tank and a guest appearance from Travic McCoy of Gym Class Hereos.
I’m hoping that Kelly has some tricks up here sleeve as far as this third studio album goes – and I’m hoping that she takes her time. Ms. Kelly wasn’t a bad album, it was just that a couple of those tracks were a year old, and people felt like they were getting an album they’d already heard. This time around, Kelly is going to have to take her time, and do things right, with single decisions.
Solange and Michelle are also releasing albums this year, and there are rumors of Beyonce dropping a new one late this year, so I’m just not sure where she will fit in the equation.

Ms. Kelly wasn’t a bad album at all, but they pushed back the release for over a year just to add like…5 new songs…ridiculous. nd the Div Deluxe Edition, just has more ballads on it, so she really only needed to release it digitally cuz no one was gonna buy it. I love Ms Kelly, ballads and all, she just needs to cater to pop radio and make her prescence known.
And Mimi’s lck luster performance doesn’t surprise me none. She’ll still come out with a number 1 album, and if touch my body becomes the number 1 song in america. There’s something wrong, even tho the song has grown on me lots.
