Keyshia Cole, who is currently sitting at the top of Billboard’s “Hot R&B/Hip Hop” charts with her song, “I Remember,” will be filming a new video this week.
“Heaven Sent” makes for the 4th video from her platinum album, Just Like You. The video will be directed by Benny Boom and shot somewhere in Hawaii on Tuesday. Word is they are going to do a play on the “Footprints” poem. Should be a good one.
SOLANGE LOOKING FOR BAND MEMBERS
Solange Knowles is working on her new album and is in search of new band members. Bee’s sis will be holding auditions for singers, bands and individual band members to become members of Hadley Street Dreams. According to the press release:
The Hadley Street Dreams, a 60s-inspired full band, will perform all live shows with Solange in support of her upcoming album to be released this August 2008 on Geffen Records, Soul Angel and the Hadley Street Dreams. Needed are: (2) female background singers (must be able to sing, dance and harmonize), (1) drummer, (1) guitar player, (2) keyboardists, (1) bass player (must be able to play upright as well).
Auditions will be held this Thursday in Cali. Make sure you peep the official Hadley Street Dreams Myspace for more info.
USHER #1 ON iTUNES SINGLES CHART
Despite only just being released digitally this week, Usher’s latest single ‘Love In The Club’ has already taken the #1 spot on the iTunes singles chart. I doubt that Usher will top his last album “Confessions” but hey you never know…

What are you talking about ATL_Honey. Some artists go a year and a half to two years on one album. If it’s good, it’s good. She just came out with the cd, it was like September 26 or something. She has come pretty much back to back with some popular songs in a short amout of time. That’s how artists start coming out with crap, trying to make an album every year. I’m not ready for this to be over, hopefully she does a video with Anthony Hamilton for Losing You. Probably not, I’ve heard it on the radio and I would think they would have done that first before Heaven Sent.
I I am a fan of Keyshia Cole’s reality show and I can not wait to see the show. Solange is definitely doing her thing. We know Usher was going to hit out the park on that single. I just hope his upcoming album does well as a whole.

Why hate on Solo? You’re condemning her before she can even start, yet you’re calling her a failure. There’s another article out how the people at EMI thinks she’s beauitful and hold her and her talents in high regard. She’s put in her grind work with herself and then others to show and prove she’s the real deal. She’s super talented and I’m eager to see what she comes out with.

I wonder how much Keyisha Cole is making off album sales (most artist don’t make much that’s why the have side hustles)? this is the second album that she has put out four video’s for. Now I am no fan but I hate to see someone be taken advatage of because they don’t know, no better. I doubt her album sales past 1.5 million copies so why keep putting out video’s when the artist has to pay for a portion of them? It seems like it’s just a waste of money to me, unless you trying to keep your name out there. Since there is no endorcements, clothing line or any other project as of yet contributing to her income the bulk of the money is probably comming form a tour which so far she has only done one (not to mention the people who gone take they cut before she get it) It sems to me she should pump the breaks on this project and focus on the next one since she got another album comming in December.
Sorry I typed to much but the KC situation just didn’t make since to me, ya’ll know major labels are designed to keep artist in debt.
