JSCENE, I think the rereleases are an attempt to make up ground for all the bootleggers out there. If you havent noticed artists have to do twice the things they did before just to make the same money as artists in the past. I mean really back in the 80s and 70s and even early 90s how many artists did u see releasing albums 2 and three times, sellin “umbarellahs” and touring for 2years per album.

You just heard the studion version, and the backup singers are doing there thing here. It took her almost 8 months to go plat in the US and they are bringing out a re-release? Sometimes re-releases dont help and I believe she will be one of those it want help.

She’s still selling like she been out for a year which is bad, especially when Fergis is still outselling you and has been out over 73 wks and you had a mega hit song. When they release it she will sell only 25,000 tops cause the original only went to 20,000 during the x-mas season.

She’s trying for an “Irreplaceable” like she did with Unfaithful (her version of DIL). Not a good look. This song wouldn’t be so bad if it were done by someone else that could actually sing. Yes the album did well on the charts but that was due to extremely heavy promotion. I really like her as an artist and shes really talented but shes not perfect as some people seem to think.

Bey also rereleased Bday which didnt do as well as expected. In fact other than her stans no one else ikes her anymore shes dated and people would rather listen to Rirhanna or Alicia than her because Bey is extremely overexposed.
