♫ Rihanna – Take A Bow (listen)
Who knew that Rihanna was rereleasing her third album, Good Girl Gone Bad? She premiered her new single on KIIS FM’s On-Air with Ryan Seacrest this morning. Not exactly positive how I feel about this song, but whatever. Rihanna has really been going strong with this album. I was thinking that she perhaps would have made a little more noise with one of my favorite songs on the album, “Breakin’ Dishes,” which entered the dance charts some time ago.
Of course, the new tune is written by Ne-Yo and produced by Stargate, who are most known for their acoustic sound. In any event, the rerelease of Good Girl Gone Bad is set to drop in stores May 27th. Make sure you check it out.

I aqree with #1….every song Rihanna comes out with you have to listen to it a few times so it can grow on you…but it sounds okay. She should do a song with Chris Brown.

JSCENE, I think the rereleases are an attempt to make up ground for all the bootleggers out there. If you havent noticed artists have to do twice the things they did before just to make the same money as artists in the past. I mean really back in the 80s and 70s and even early 90s how many artists did u see releasing albums 2 and three times, sellin “umbarellahs” and touring for 2years per album.

Well i knew that, but what is the logic in it? If i didn’t like soulja boy on day one when the cd was originally released, i’m still not buying the crap 6 months later when they re-release it.
I happen to really like Rhi, and i already have her cd; but i just noticed this trend of re-releasing albums, and to me it just doesn’t make sense. So what, you might get 100,000 more copies sold…now what?

Also, What’s up with artists constantly re-releasing albums. Rihanna’s GGGB album was pretty solid as it was and definitely doesn’t need this song, which sounds more like filler.
You just heard the studion version, and the backup singers are doing there thing here. It took her almost 8 months to go plat in the US and they are bringing out a re-release? Sometimes re-releases dont help and I believe she will be one of those it want help.
She’s still selling like she been out for a year which is bad, especially when Fergis is still outselling you and has been out over 73 wks and you had a mega hit song. When they release it she will sell only 25,000 tops cause the original only went to 20,000 during the x-mas season.
Overseas was loving her but after the tour hey are heard how bad she was and a lot are saying they want buy her stuff cause of Bad performances.
We will see what develops in May.

I’ll probably be crucified for this but… she is singing this song in the fashion of Beyonce IMO. I still find her voice extremely unbearable. It may just be because I want a talented artist to sing a song for once.
They are re-releasing this because of all the money they spent shoving her down our throats. They need some of it back, not that they will get very much of it. I noticed she has had a lot of time on her hands lately. Guess she will be getting dropped soon, since she isn’t recording a new album.

She’s trying for an “Irreplaceable” like she did with Unfaithful (her version of DIL). Not a good look. This song wouldn’t be so bad if it were done by someone else that could actually sing. Not to hit high notes, but a person that can sing can play with their voice and add rifts, etc. where necessary.
They’re milking this album because as usual, the sales haven’t lived up to expectation. They’re also trying to get new material out for people to be excited about her being on tour with Kanye. Riri’s a wrap. She really needs to concentrate on her upcoming contract expiration because if they’re going according to sales, no one is going to be fighting to have her on their team.
It’s also a bad move for her because Beyonce’s dropping in June along with a few others.

ciara does not headlin no tour, keyshia does not headline no tour. they join tours like scream, etc. tours that involved other black artists who are not headlining.
