Yeah, yeah, yeah this track has been on the net for a couple days already, but I finally got a chance to actually listen to it today. It’s straight. I guess you really can’t go wrong with a Jay-Z & Mary collabo.
These two superstars released the Swizz Beatz produced track in anticipation of their ‘Heart of the City’ tour, which starts this month. Some of the tour dates are located after the cut.

Yep, good move Jay with your fake ass…since your last two albums has been labeled “commercial” and you have been accused of being a sellout and out of touch with your original fans who put you where you are, good move to go on tour with Mary, the female artist who’s loved and known for to be “real”, and has a large black fan base, and who love her for her ability to keep it real, to once again give yourself credibility. Now that your career as far as rap goes is in the toilet based on your record sells for someone who claims to be the best rapper, and even though t.i., kanye and even 50 cent had larger record sells than you last year, you’ve decided to go use Mary, who by the way, was one of the female artists of the year whose records sells were phenomenal, to help build back up your own credibility among the fans you lost, while you were trying to switch us out for the white people, hanging around coldplay and gwenyth paltrow and them cause you didn’t think you’d ever need us again. Wow….good luck with that. This should position you well for the new cd you are planning to release soon.

Yea, Concreteloop is slipping,lol. I heard this song on the radio and my radio station is usually late…But it’s all good. This song is my ish right now!! I love how Jay references love is a battlefield…He still the best… and as for Mary yah know she sings songs that heal the heart!

The song is ok, I have always loved Mary’s music but I have never wanted to see her live the tour will do well just because of who they are. I think Jay Z is overrated as a rapper that’s just my opinion.

Hey, for those ones who are talking nonsense, let Ms Common Sense give you some food for thought. Jay-Z is in a position in his life where he does not have to sell another album, but as a business man he knows how to position himself and what moves to make that will him collecting paper. The bottom line when Jay does have something to say to his fans, he states it clearly and we all can take it, internalize it, and keep it moving. Mary and Jay-Z are both phenoms and they know that they have the star power to not only bring in the dollars but bring people together to feel their music. I purchased my tickets this morning because this will be a concert that I will let me “Reminisce” when it was 1994 and I was a freshman in college listening to What the 411 and Jay-Z was just trying to hang on to Biggie coat tails.
Overall, let go of the crabs in the bucket syndrom and not only help, but also keep each other at the TOP!! Peace and blessings.
This song sound something like Jay did back in the day. Song Cry I think is the name of it? I don’t know. It’s alright and will be successful because of who they are. I might check out the concert, don’t care to much for Jay-Z. I just want to see Mary.

Yeah man, eversince folks was on Hot 97 sayin Keyshia is the New Mary and someone even said she was better than Mary when Mary was at that time in her life, You see how Mary went & drop this album with the quickness right? LOL! Mary aint even give niggaz a heads or nothing about the album until Keyshia Cole came out with that BANGA with Missy and Kim. The Breakthrough came out in late 05 and then she dropped some mixtape/compilation in 06 and a new album not so long after Keyshia in 07 and Just Fine was Garbage. Like I said, Jay-Z did her a favor LOL!

What you guys really meant to say was that you guys skim through his music and is infatuated with Jay-z’s sound and swagger lol. If you are a fan of Jay and listens to his music thoroughly then you would’ve liked the video because you understood the lyrics. Like I said today’s generation are nothing but bandwagoners because they done heard so many people say he is the best lol. “Kingdom Come” was not a terrible album like many people said it was. People didn’t like because they thought his production was weak lol and he didn’t have those “heroin tracks”. I don’t think anybody is hating on Jay Z or Mary, even though I don’t really feel him as a rapper I am proud of his success he could be dead, in jail, or doing something else not possitive.
As for Mary no she is not the best singer but her songs make up for it, I have not heard anything from Keyisha Cole that is on the level of What’s the 411, Mylife or Share My World so who ever saying she is better than Mary was at that age is crazy. This is comming from somebody from the Bay Area.
I absolutely love this song! It is such a happy song! It’s the type of song you bang in your ride. It keeps your head moving back and forth.
