I work in Dallas and live in the ATL, so I heard about this incident this morning about this woman that threw her kids off the bridge. They were talking about it all day here in Dallas. The interstate was shut down and … man it’s just crazy. I don’t think I could ever do that to my kids. I wonder if she’s on the edge. Maybe she lost a family member or is going through a divorce. I was in Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield/Storm,and I witnessed a woman being stoned to death,in fact there were others waiting after her.I had some rank,and I tried to stop what was going on,but an officer told me we couldn’t do anything.I said this country is ass backwards,but I found out much later, that the woman drowned her child in a bucket.Over there justice is swift and harsh,if you kill someone on Monday,on Friday after they complete their noon prayers they hand out justice.Putting violent people in prison doesn’t work anymore,they get three meals a day,free health care,only to commit more crimes when they get out,and who pays for it WE DO.Start stoning these pieces of shit,and watch the crime rate go down.

Thank you guys for posting Jamiel’s story on here. He IS not was a great teenager and will be missed by us all. His legacy runs deep here in Los Angeles as well as other cities where kids just want to be kids…go to school, play sports, respect elders. We should be sending him to college in a few months…He was going to be something wonderful. As mentioned, one of the cowards that took his life was arrested….may they all pay and learn that you can not touch our innocent children and think we are not going to stand up!

What happened to Jamiel is senseless, What that mother did to her children is senseless — but most acts perpetrated by d’evils are.

There is no need to blame an entire race of people - for the acts of a few. This was an act by some dumb people who chose to join a gang - they are the ones at fault, they are the ones to blame.

Not too long ago, some young dudes shot and killed a young man who was out having dinner with his mother - the youngest one was 13 years old, the young man they shot was 15 - the others were between, 14 and 19 years old. They were all Black.

Few years ago a woman drowned every one of her 5 children, she was white.

This woman here didn’t throw her kids from the bridge because she’s Black, she did it because she’s sick.

Not making an excuse, but I think that the rise in black women committing all of these henious acts aganist their children is stress. This is a two way street. It is woman having kids without the support of the men and the men not taking care of the children that they made. I speak of thsi from first hand experience. I had to go without help while my child was young and I was stressed out to the point that I developed a drinking problem. I also yelled at my child alot. This was just becuase of stress. My job was going through a reduction in force at the same time. I own my own home, don’t know if I am going to have a job and pay all of these bills alone. Daycare was $170 a week.

Don’t say I made a bad choice. I am 29 and have been knowing my husband since I was 13 and thought the he was the one for me. Well news flash ladies wait until you are over 25 before you make any lifetime commitments to any man.

Scentific studies have indicated that the brain does not fully mature until you reach 25 years of age. Therefore the decisions that you make may be out of youthfullness.
Everthing can wait. You have your 30’s to have a baby, get married, etc.

RIP to Jameil Shaw Jr, his story is deeply upsetting. Another black man snuffed off the earth by some senseless act.

I have to agree with the posts that all terrorists are gang members, but I think that people have to come to grips with the fact that there is a race issue. No one wants to say this because then we actually have to deal with the issue among the races. Facts.

1. Jameil Shaw killed by 2 Hispanic members of the 18th street gang.

2. A 6-year-old black boy was critically wounded when he was shot in the head by suspected Latino gang members as the victim’s family drove through the Harbor Gateway neighborhood on their way to an auto auction.

3. Jonathan Fajardo is a member of a Latino gang from Harbor Gateway that has a history of attacking blacks.He is accused of gunning down a 14-year-old girl he did not know just because she was black and, a month later, of helping to kill a possible witness, who was stabbed 80 times.

What do these people have in common? They were ALL black, innocent, NON-GANG members killed by Latino gang members. People who don’t live in LA, have no idea and a lot who do try and deny this, but I’m sorry, I do NOT buy it! Please find me an article of a black gang member killing innocent Latino CHILDREN? If you find one, guess what? We still have a race issue.

These Latino gangs (La eme, 204th street, 38th street, 18th street etc.) are no joke and are running LA streets. They receive orders to conduct “ethnic cleansing” on areas that are “supposed” to be predominantly Latino. Trust me this is a race issue, and what’s saddening is that our everyone keeps saying it’s not. I wonder why?

I am a black woman, who has friends that are Mexican, Honduran, and from El Salvador and they will be the first to tell you that a great majority of them are taught to hate, distrust, and never marry or date blacks. A friend of mine who happens to be Mexican teaches a gang prevention program in the Harbor area with another black guy. Tell me why does has he get threatened on several occassions by gang members as to why he is talking with a black guy?

Before I moved to LA, I used to work in San Ysidro, which is on the border and the only reason why I was accepted is because I could understand Spanish. I don’t know why I say all this, except for the fact that it is really depressing, but guess what? After all that, I still got love for Latinos. I consider them my sisters and brothers. I wait for the day where we will walk hand in hand publicly and stand against this, but I have a feeling people are too afraid.

This is so sad. That young boy was killed for nothing. That mom that jumped and threw her kids over the overpass needs HELP! Thank God the kids are okay!!! Also, those folks are WRONG for attacking that reporter. All of these stories are a reflection of our society and we need to incorporate GOD and JESUS Christ back into our American Heritage. GOD BLESS YOU all…….:)

California is a testing ground for the government, all this is perpetrated for the purpose of test cases. There’s no way a city would allow this type of chaos to continue unless they are part of the project. What a shame for people to fear for trying to bridge a community together. This just leads to a bloody mess. I believe the gang issue can be reduced, it’s just ignored. There need to be stricter laws and enforcement to take control of these cities, and the punishment should also be given to government officials for aiding these gang members to continually invade and terrorize innocent citizens of the USA. I understand that it’s clearly a race issue, but I also believe that it’s purposely stage for corruption and genocide.

This is abslutely terrible. Although I live in Atlanta..Im from California, Oakland to be exact. And while this news isnt something new, it ALWAYS destroys a small piece of me to hear it. The fact that I have a daughter makes it even worse now. But how do you talk sense into people who from birth have been trained and acclimated to believe that life has no value. In my opinion we’ve ALL gotta do a better job aising our kids…collectively. They say it takes a village to raise a child but nowadays no one want to be bothered and this is the end result. Do you know how many folk I know and grew up with have been killed in these past few months over gang violence? It’s a shame….RIP BE L, Gary and now this young man…Also, someone got killed AT a football game at the high school I graduated from…it’s so sad….I live a good ways away from there now (by the grace of God) and the only way I knew what was going on back home was because I still have friends and family that live there and are affected by this nonsense on a daily basis…Pray for peace in these streets…

I’m so sick of gangs and the gang memebers and the things they do is so senseless. They are the most undignified and ignorant people on this planet. Killing people for what? So you can move up in the gang still being broke, still watching over your back, still catching any STD, being arrested, etc. What “protection” do you really have being in a gang? I pray that God have mercy on your souls because in the after life no gang will protect you from that type of punishment.

As far as the mom and the children…Some women sad to say don’t deserve children. How can you even bare to do such a thing? I hope they put her under the jail…one of those old time prisons with women who haven’t seen their kids in years.

Lastly that reporter should sue her company and those people should be charged. Her company is responsible for her security and if she was the right amount of feet away then she shouldn’t have been harmed. As far as the woman who attacked her she should be charged with assault the least. Don’t mean to bring race in but we all know if it were the opposite and that reporter was white, those ppl would’ve been in jail already.

The woman that threw her kids off the bridge was in dallas and just plain crazy. she needs to be locked up for years for that one.

I saw the newscaster story on AOL yesterday. They also attacked the brother that was in the film crew with the reporter. The residents could have just been mean people, but then they escalated it to a racial issue when they begin using racial slurs & by the fact that they didn’t attack the white news crew that was also there. According to AOL, the newscaster was across the street from the residents’ house doing her report. What kind of person comes across the street to attack someone that is just doing their job? I am glad that they were atleast brought up on charges. Let’s hope and pray that the charges are also followed up with some form of punishment. I also would like to say that AOL needs to begin to monitor their comment boards a little better. I realize that we live in a country that prides itself on freedom of speech, but AOL’s boards consistently feature racist comments from its users. Even with this case, there were racist comments made on the board regarding the reporter. Freedom of speech is great, but some things are just not to be thought or said. Some people on the AOL board also brought up the fact that there had been white reporters attacked by african americans during the L.A. riots. Ok. They were wrong just like these white people in this story were wrong. The reporters are doing their jobs. You don’t come at someone that for doing their job if they are not bothering you.

Why? What is the reason? It is unnecessary. I think American needs to come together and fight against violence. People need to start opening th their mouths if they are a witness to something. I am sure that is one of the reasons why there is there’s so much violence because the criminals kno know that witnesses won’t say anything. Speak up! Don’t let this happen in your neighborhood!! The next person that get’s shot could be your or your fa family or a friend!!! It will be too late!! Think of these victims as your family. Open your mouths! Don’t be scared to say something.
