♫ BEYONCE - BEAUTIFUL NIGHTMARE (LISTEN)
For the past couple of months, rumors have been swarming around that Beyonce was going to release a dance album, and possible a country album. Telling by the above track, it seems as though the dance rumor was true. “Beautiful Nightmare” must be a teaser track just so the Music World camp can give us a taste of what’s going to be on the album. Even though I like the direction of the song, I don’t think that this will make the cut for the next album.
Reports were made that Timbaland was to produce the bulk of Beyonce’s as-yet-titled third studio album. The new project, which will be going for more a house, pop, dance and international sound will be the follow-up to 2006’s multi-platinum B’Day. I’m hoping that the rumors that Timbaland involved are true, because I think that’d be absolutely insane.
Make sure you check out Beyonce on MySpace or visit her official site for more updates on the progress of her new project.

Michelle Williams - Break the Dawn (snippet) - listen
The time is drawing close for Michelle to drop a new single. With the popularity of the snippet she leaked earlier, “Stop This Car,” new information has arisen. Michelle’s third album, which will be an R&B record, is called Unexpected and the new single is “Break the Dawn.” I like the track because it’s mellow but it has some power behind it too. I’m interested to see what the rest of this record is going to sound like. I’m sure a full version of “Break the Dawn” will surface within the coming weeks.
Janet Jackson feat. J.D., Busta, Ciara & Fabolous - Feedback (Remix) (full) - listen
I thought we were done with “Feedback?” But anyways, here’s a new remix that the label has been sending out to everyone. It seems as though they’ve adapted the rap verse that Ciara did in the studio for the official remix. They also added Fabolous into the mix. I actually don’t prefer the way the song is arranged, as far as the verses.

As you all know, the April cover of Vogue Magazine featuring basketball star Lebron James and supermodel Giselle Bundchen is a very hot topic on the net right now. Many people (including a large portion of the CL readers) believe that the cover was racially motivated and that they had a plethora of other photos to choose from instead of the one that was selected.
We posted a “CL COMMENT SPOTLIGHT” last week featuring the top comments that stood out to us in our original post on the topic and to our surprise MJ’s comment was featured on NBC’s The Today Show this morning.
Shout out to CL commenter/visitor MJ for making the segment and make sure to view the related links to see his/her full comment.

For this edition of ‘Who Rock’d It Better’ we have singer Wanita “D. Woods” Woodgette of Danity Kane and singer/rapper Teyana Taylor rocking the same Heatherette dress to recent events. Both ladies opted to wear their dress with some dope ass sneaks.
D. Woods rock’d it first at the “Welcome To The Dollhouse” Album release party last week in New York City and Teyana rock’d it last night at the launch party for the MAC/Heatherette Collection. As always, who rock’d it better?

♫ WYNTER GORDON - SURVEILLANCE (LISTEN)
Meet Wynter Gordon. With R&B moving more and more in a pop direction since ‘07, it seems as though a lot of music has gotten lost in translation. Wynter, a new Atlantic Records signee brings you “Surveillance,” a danceable, up-tempo track, where a girl finds herself being followed and surveyed by her jealous man.
“Surveillance” has been eating up the dance world and along with preparing her debut album, she’s also had placements on Danity Kane’s new project, Welcome to the Dollhouse (she has credits on “2 of You,” along with Adonis & Bryan-Michael Cox). The song has grown on me so much - I think maybe because it sounds like a mash-up between Keri Hilson’s “Miscommunication” and any thing from The Dream’s catalog. So what do you think? Is “Surveillance” hot or not?
If you think the song is hot, make sure you check out Wynter Gordon on MySpace and tell her Brian from CL sent you!
