Jamal Woolard, who portrays Christopher Wallace (“Notorious B.I.G”, Biggie Smalls) and Antonique Smith, who portrays his wife, Faith Evans, in the upcoming film, “Notorious”, were spotted filming at the Embassy Suites in Battery Park on Thursday. Jamal was in character and in a bathrobe and slippers as he left the interior set.
Tyra Banks arrives at the 1st Annual Fiercee Awards honoring the women of “America’s Next Top Model” on “The Tyra Banks Show” at Chelsea Studios in New York on Friday. The special airs on April 30th. Make sure to peep the photos, some of the old school top modelers made an appearance.
Trina premiered her new video on Yahoo! Music last night for her second single, “I Got A Thang For You,” featuring Keyshia Cole. The new single is from Trina’s new album, Still Da Baddest, which drops next Tuesday.
Beyonce released an official statement on her website, BeyonceOnline.com about the leaking of the new song, “Beautiful Nightmare.”
“Yesterday, ‘Beautiful Nightmare,’ a demo I’ve been working on for possible inclusion on my next album, leaked on some websites. I want to thank all my fans for the positive response to the song, but I want to tell you that this is just a work in progress.
It is not my time to put out new music. If you really want to hear some really great music now, you have to support my girls Kelly, Michelle and my sister Solange. Kelly just re-released her album digitally in the US, so check out Ms. Kelly: Diva Deluxe. Michelle is about to put out the first single, ‘We Break The Dawn,’ from her album and Solange’s single, ‘I Decided,’ is already one of my favorites.”
I think it’s really hilarious that she is shamelessly plugged all her best girlfriends in her statement. Something about this just feels like none of that came from Beyonce’s mouth. I’m glad that she’s saying that it’s not time for her to put out new music. I love Beyonce as much as the next person, but I really want her to just focus on this movie and then concentrate on the music side. (Thanks to Larry for sending this in.)
