New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, the nation’s only Latino governor, endorsed Sen. Barack Obama, on Friday, calling him an “extraordinary American” and urging Democrats to unite behind his candidacy and move the nation beyond its racial and partisan divide.
Richardson dropped out of the race in January and said that Obama’s speech earlier this week prompted him to inform the senator that he was inspired and impressed.
“Senator Barack Obama addressed the issue of race with the eloquence and sincerity and decency and optimism we have come to expect of him,” Richardson said at a Portland rally. “He did not seek to evade tough issues or to soothe us with comforting half-truths. Rather, he inspired us by reminding us of the awesome potential residing in our own responsibility.”

Biggie is that you? Here are the very first pics of actor/rapper Jamal “Gravy” Woolard on the first day of filming on the movie “Notorious”. They were on location outside the Virgin Megastore in Union Square.
George Tillman Jr. (Soul Food, Men of Honor) is directing the biopic and they will start shooting scenes in Brooklyn on Monday.

On MTV and Bad Boy’s fourth installment of Making the Band, Diddy chose Q., Brian, Robert, Mike and Will for his new all-male R&B group, titled Day 26. I was never really into that season of Making the Band 4, but on this new season, the boys competed head to head with labelmates Danity Kane and solo artist, Donnie, recording their albums at the same time, and even fighting for tracks. The boys went through it on a couple of episodes: from fighting, to be banned from the studio and going through what they described as “intensive” vocal training with Ank Rah. But here they are with their self-titled debut album, Day 26, which hits shelves, Tuesday, March 25th.

Danity Kane - Make Me Sick (full) - listen
Here’s some unreleased bonus material from Danity Kane. Their new album, Welcome to the Dollhouse was released this Tuesday and was sold out everywhere in Atlanta, much like on their debut album. “Make Me Sick” would have fit in with the overall pop/dance feel of the album, but it’s completely understandable why the song was left off of the album. I love the production, but I feel like there’s something missing from the song. It doesn’t hit as hard as the other songs on the project.
Lloyd feat. Lil’ Wayne - Girls Around the World (full) - listen
This new Lloyd track has been floating around the internet. Him and Lil’ Wayne make a good team, I like when they collaborate together. The title of Lloyd’s new album is Lessons In Love, and it’s due out in June. I like “Girls Around the World” - it has an old school, ’90’s feel to it. I hope this album is as good of an effort as Street Love was. I was very impressed with that album, so hopefully, he gives me the same effort. From what I’ve heard, the new album is supposed to be very good.
