While promoting her upcoming album, “E=MC2″, Mariah Carey announced her support for Sen. Barack Obama.
Radio program Yo on E! host Michael Yo asked if she had picked a candidate. Although Carey admitted to it being “personal but pretty obvious,” Yo replied: “Come on Mariah, ‘Yes we can’ Mr. Barack Obama?”
Earlier this week, Obama also garnered an endorsement from Russell Simmons. On Tuesday, Jay-Z dropped a robo call urging Ohio voters to vote for change, vote for Barack Obama. Forest Whitaker, Samuel L. Jackson and Kerry Washington have all campaigned for Obama around Texas in recent days.

HUCKABEE OUT
Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee has withdrawn following the Republican victories of John McCain Tuesday in Ohio, Rhode Island, Texas and Vermont.
Republican sources confirm McCain will receive an official endorsement from President Bush on Wednesday at the White House.

Hillary won TX and Ohio. That’s alright. Barack is STILL ahead in delegates that that’s what counts, baby. Just now on the news they said that Hillary winning those 3 states doesn’t even matter. Barack has a good lead in pledged delegates and just like the news has been saying, it’s destined to stay that way.

Hillary winning those three states does very much matter. Cause now she can make her case at the Convention that though Obama has a delegate lead, she won more big states than Obama by a good margin (California, Texas, New York, Ohio, etc). Obama will still lead in delegates by the end of the night, but this thing is far from over. The momentum is on her side going into Penn.

Please. Hillary didn’t sweep TX nor Ohio. Especially TX. She only won by like a 4-5 point lead out there. Just like the news reported, her winning the 3 states are really not much. Barack won over the big cities in both Ohio, and TX. Plus, Hillary didn’t get that many delegates out of neither one. She only managed to sweep Obama in Rhode Island. And PA doesn’t vote until the end of April. We have Mississippi and Wyoming who has to vote soon. Both states are leaning in favor of Obama. He will definitely take Miss for damn sure, and that’s a big state.
If this does lead to the super delegates, I really do hope they make the right choice. Barack Obama is that choice.

Hillary did not beat Obama by a landslide in Ohio or my home state of Texas. He still won more delegates than her so it was a comeback for her but it’s not as big as the media is making it seems.

You know what kills me is how a lot of these people on these blogs look so much into his celebrity endorsements. HELLO, they (the celebrities) are going to be fine if it’s McCain, Clinton, or Obama. We the regular citizens are the ones that have to be concerned with the way the economy. I love Jay-Z as an artist, but I could care less for his political advice since he has his money. I woke up this morning and turned on the television only to find out that Hillary won RI, Ohio, AND Texas. I damn near cursed and threw the television out of the window. LOL Naw I didn’t but I was highly disappointed. But then I logged onto CNN.com when I arrived to work and found out that Obama is still in the lead as far as pledged delegates are concerned. So of course that eased my disappointment and greatly pushed my momentum up even higher. I still believe that Obama has a chance and I am praying that he will sweep the remainder of the race (Miss, Wyoming, and PA if I am correct). Then in August during the convention, the superdelegates will vote THE RIGHT WAY, and let the voters voice be heard. I really wish the Democratic Party never decided to go about choosing their candidates in this manner (which only makes shit more complicated) but it is what it is. All we can do is let our voices be heard, pray, and hope for the best!

I like Mike Huckabee, now I don’t have a second pick if Obama don’t get the nomination (but he will). I hope I don’t have to result to doing a right in cause that’s exactly what will happen if Hillary gets the nod. I will not under any circumstance vote for her or McCain.

I just saw the news here in Boston and Hillary is talking real big ever since she won Ohio and Texas. She even hinted at in an interview that when she wins the democratic presidential nomination ( note the WHEN not IF), she will potentially add Obama on the ticket as her VP candidate. All I gotta say is that sneaky bitch is up to something. She seemed real sure of herself. I started yelling at the TV : “Obama still has more delegates Bitch!” I was so mad maybe she should think about becoming Obama’s VP b/c he sure as hell is not losing!
