Sen. Barack Obama won the Wyoming Democratic caucus with 68 percent of the vote for his thirteenth win on Saturday.
Obama thanked “all of the people of Wyoming who braved long lines and cold weather to stand for change,” on his website.
On Friday, Obama’s campaign manager, David Plouffe, said in a conference call with reporters that “Senator Clinton is one of the most secretive politicians in America today.”
“She has consistently refused to release her tax returns. They have said they are going to release them around [April] 15, but there is no reason why the prior six years of tax returns couldn’t be released right now.”
Shortly after the call, Clinton’s communications director, Howard Wolfson, released a statement assuring that Clinton will release last year’s tax returns in April; he also said over 20 years of both Bill and Hillary’s tax returns are already public.
CLINTON & OBAMA: UNSTOPPABLE

According to former President Bill Clinton, a ticket pairing between his wife, Sen. Hillary Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama would be “almost unstoppable.”
“She said yesterday and she said the day after her big wins in Texas and Ohio and Rhode Island that she was very open to that and I think she answered explicitly ‘Yes’ yesterday,” said Clinton while campaigning for his wife in Mississippi.
Although Clinton has expressed interest in sharing the ticket with Obama, he said that “it’s premature.”
“You won’t see me as a vice presidential candidate – you know, I’m running for president. We have won twice as many states as Senator Clinton, and have a higher popular vote and I think we can maintain our delegate count,” Obama said in an interview with KTVQ-TV on Friday.
I heard Hillary said that she felt that her or McCain would be the better candidate. What kind of sh*t is that? Democrats stand behind Democrats. So if her ass lose how can she support Obama after saying something like that.
This is what family told me, I didn’t hear for myself. But if it’s true Hillary is really getting on my bad side.
I am very happy for Obama. We need serious change in this country. And having another old white male as President doesn’t represent change.
I’m an Obama supporter. I don’t think that he would ever be vice prez to Hilary but I’m sure she would be his in a heartbeat. Oh I also heard her say that too, that McCain and her would be a better president. That’s not cool at all.
Oh, and I’m not a Clinton hater but it’s just really hard for me to relate to her. It’s like she’s a robot almost. I have to feel some kind of connection towards a candidate to let me know their human, if that makes sense.
Well, I actually told myself to open up to Hillary and not just give my vote to Obama BUT have you ever heard a Republican say that they or a Democrat would make a better president? Have you ever heard any other Democrat ever say that? I heard that the Republicans really don’t like McCain but do you hear them even mentioning Obama’s name positively.
Hillary and dumb Bob Johnson need to go sit down some where before they say anything else stupid. Hillary really hurt herself with that statement.
Obama! Obama! Obama! I’hats all I have to say
That is so funny (ironic) that you both heard that comment, because to me that does NOT sound out of character for Hilary at all. The last couple weeks (obviously before the most recent ‘super tuesday’) the coverage i’ve watched on her she’s strayed from debating the issues, discussing her stance, and launched a verbal and personal attack on Barack. Personally as a woman I think she makes herself look like an idiot and holds up the stereotype about us that “women are irrational and emotional” which sometimes is an argument of why women aren’t in many leadership positions as men . She is really showing her true colors and showin herself to be an ass. I wouldn’t run on the same ticket as her if I were barack, the whole point of the primaries are to choose the best candiate to represent your party, but the fight is to focus your approach on your parties issues not about belittling the person on your same damn team!! personally, I was always apathetic about her but now i’m NOT a fan at all. I think you can see right through her and I wonder who really was running the country when her husband was in office!
I’d rather stomach one more 60+ aged old white man from the bible belt ( has America had any different) before I’d live to see her as this nation’s leader… and if she’s the selection.. i’m moving.. I love to travel to other countries, and I hear Brazil is pretty in November anyway
So let’s not be delusional It’s a close race, but Barack has this in the bag if everyone who’s in support of him VOTES!! it’s imperative to register and VOTE!!!!
Barack in 08
Hilliary is just saying this now because she wants the undecided voters to vote for her. I do not like Clinton and Obama together. I can never forget her political lies and tactics. Very unbecomming and distrustful, and disruptral. By chance if he’s VP then she would run for two terms. This would most likely make it hard on Obama if he tries to run again. But I am sure after working with her after a month he will have nothing to do with her. All other Clinton administrators have nothing to do with them anymore. All of Obama supporters were under the Clinton Admisnistration before.
The Clintons have a record that is a mile long.No one will fool with them. As the polls indicate that Hillaiary is common among the low educated voters low income . Obama appeals to the middle class educated voters. Whant to know Why? Reason is that educated voters have been reading her voting records and know exactly what she stands for Corruption.
I am so glad that you all posted comments but it makes me really sad that no one really comments on the political posts as much as they do for the gossip posts…tear….but anywho I’m Barack Obama all the way you know, but I absolutely support a Barack (President) and Hillary (V.P.) ticket all the way (but if it’s the other way around then no!). I agree with Bill 100% when he says that the ticket would be unstoppable! For those of you who believe that you would vote for McCain over Hillary, that’s foolishness. Hillary has supports more issues that benefit the middle and lower class than McCain would anyday (even if he is a moderate Republican). But Obama is always the better candidate hands down supoorting issues like financial aid for students and healthcare for all! He really is all the President that we need!!!! VOTE OBAMA! Si se puede!!!!
That’s right Obama don’t settle I believe he can go all the way.
If Hillary can steal the nomination after Barack has won twice as many states and much more of the popular vote in this primary then we need to revamp this whole electoral process. This is mad reminiscient of Bush stealing the election in ’04. Personally I don’t know why we can’t have a one man/woman=one vote system.
All this talk in recent years of “hanging chads” “super delegates” and Florida again, sounds to me like code for: “Put em up M*f*ka, we taking this!!”
We just came off of 4 yrs of Bush + 8 yrs of Clinton + 8 yrs of Bush (and Bush Sr. was VP for 4 yrs before that). It might be time for some new blood in the Whitehouse.
Pres. Clinton is right. If some of you guys think about it they really need each other. Hillary is having a hard time with the black vote and young voters and Obama is having a hard time with the Latin voters and the old voters. Something has got to give or it’s going to be hard for either to win the general. Yeah, Obama has won more states, but at least 11 or 12 of those won’t be won by a Democrat in the general election. I lot of you people that post here fail to realize that, just thinking in the present and not the future. And a lot of his wins were caucus wins which are a long ways from just plain voting. Those caucuses are very undemocratic and need to be ban. All the states should just have regular primary voting. He won Wyoming because of its caucus system and he probably will win Mississippi because of the large black population. Yet, if she wins Pennsylvania huge next month which they polls have her up 52-37, which is a state the Dems have to win, Obama is going to find himself in a bind. Whether some of you want to admit it or not he is not winning states that the Dems have to win and lot of superdelegates are paying attention to that.
@ #1 she did say that
OBAMA!
Hillary stay insulting people’s intelligence… People are not supposed to be smart enough to understand that since she is losing in the delegate count, that now all of a sudden she wants to “embrace” Obama on “her” ticket? She doesn’t “HAVE” the ticket to offer. This chick here is on some real slimey shit – and we haven’t seen anything yet.
I disagree Onemil02. Barack doesn’t need her. She needs him.
She and her camp continously state that she won the big states. However, she won states that ALWAYS vote democrat and it’s not likely to change becuase of her and she didn’t win by much. Remember she was the undisputed frontrunner last year.
Barack has out smarted her on every turn. Nobody thought he had a chance. She had more money, Bill and connections. Now, she had to loan her campaign money, her funds come from corporate donors and lobbyists. His contributions come from grass roots organizations.
I use to love the Clintons. Now, I see why the republicans despise them so much.
And what person would say the opposition (McCain) is better than someone from their own party (Barack)?!?!?!?!?!? That says a lot about her character, her campaign and her motivation running for office. If it’s not her, it won’t be any democrat in the White House. Trifling.
Barack is smart. If he wins, he will pick a VP that will bring the party together even those women who say they will not vote for him if he is the nominee. He will surprise us all I’m sure.
If Clinton doens’t get the nomination, I too will vote for McCain and it makes perfectly good sense if you’ve been around more then 30 or so years.
#7, show me an uncorrupt politician and I’ll show you some prime reel estate in the Florida Everglades, lol!!
A hillary and Obama ticket together would be unstoppable…….unfortunely just like
Negroes the Dems are not united. The Reblicans don’t have to divide and conquer
we are already divided. Like Jay Z said; “you ain’t having it, good me neither. Lets
get together and make the whole world believers.”
@#11 – How do you know democrats won’t win alot of those states? as John Madden use to like to say after a Monday night upset: “that’s why we play ‘em”.
i mean who knows what would happen if the the people were vigilent and didn’t fall for the shenanagins like Jeb Bush throwing people off the voter rolls or Fox News “accidentily calling the race (wrong) on the air.. What if we got the people who can tally millions of votes every week on “American Idol” instead of the republican connected companies that currently just can’t seem to get the vote count right.
We who, Clarkthink? Or are you assumng that ALL blacks are always Democrats? Monolithic thinking is what has Blacks in this country in a jam. The fact is that NO political party can save us, we have to save ourselves.
I see her game tactics now she wants to win the big delegets so see can solidify her position in the white house real! She is a raist, because she will not push her campaign in Mississippi to get votes! So that tell me right there that she is not a real Commander and chief, but a damn thief that will stop at anything to won, even if it means having slaved minded blacks on her campaign to get what she wants!
Obama 08′ bitches!
Excuse me but I’d just like to know exactly what CHANGE he is referring to because I assume that the following president would hope to change the way things stand now with the declining economy and what now.
I would really like that answered.
I used to think that an Obama(P)/Hillary(VP) ticket would be cool but not anymore. 1. I’m disgusted by the lies and smear tactics from the Clinton campaign. The woman is ruthless. 2. The Clintons have too much dirt on them. Obama is being respectful and takes the high road, but the Republicans won’t hesitate to call her out on it. When Obama becomes the Democratic Nominee, I hope he chooses John Edwards.
Yes yall she did make that statement the other day, actually I have her exact words right here:
“I think you’ll be able to imagine many things Senator McCain will be able to say,” she said. “He’s never been the president, but he will put forth his lifetime of experience. I will put forth my lifetime of experience. Senator Obama will put forth a speech he made in 2002.”
—Quote taken from AP
This has got to be the dumbest statement I have ever heard coming out of anyone’s mouth. She knows she’s not going to win so she’s just like, if I can’t win, then I certainly won’t let him win!!!! As I recall at the last debate she was pushing party unity and saying that Barack Obama would be a good call for the presidency, Democrat all the way blah blah blah…This witch is seriously trying to blow the general election for the Democrats right before our eyes! What an idiot. But you can see how white people stick together—you cannot divide the white race and that’s (one of the reasons) they have been so successful in stabbing others in the back.
Lemme see here. McCain is white and he’s a Republican. Clinton is white and she’s a Democrat. Can’t divide the white race? Are u sure, lol?
Yes. They are both white and from different parties, yet she is uplifting a fellow Caucasian while at the same time talking greasy against her own party-mate!
OBAMA will win
It saddens me how most people rely on blogs and the media to get their information in regards to such important decisions…I hope that most do their research…non biased research to formulate an educated decision.
I almost need to stop reading blogs until the election is over.
People let their emotions sway their vote…exactly why the gov’t does not rely on the popular vote to determine the winner. We are not that evolved as a people (by people I mean Americans in general).
alright obama!!!
Most of you ignorant dumb ass black folks are sooo damn ignorant and racist. You are the ones who gives black folks a bad name.
@Ashley Nicole…… Your comments are stupid and they are a reflection of your ignorant mind. For you to say that you would not vote for Hillary if she won lets me know that you are not for the people and I wouldn’t want your vote. Hillary and Obama has a lot of the same views and they have a lot of similarities. I could careless about who wins at this point. I like Hillary and I like Obama. I’m a young black male that watches every debate and this is the first time that I have really been in to politics. I do feel that both Hillary and Obama will have to come together to unite our party at this point because this is going to have to go all the way to the convention. So when you dumb ass people talk about Obama doesn’t need Hillary, you are a damn LIE because although Obama won the majority of the states, but Hillary is extremely close to Obama. There will also be people, dumb ass people, who will not vote for Obama if he gets the nomination so the only way to make an unstoppable ticket is to put them both together on the ticket. I’m for it because of the following reasons, lets not think about short term or long term, lets think about the next 16 years. If Obama gets the nomination and Hillary is VP then we know that Obama is going to do what he can do to make sure the US is back to the way it was when a CLINTON was in office and Hillary is going to make sure Obama succeeds because that will give her the option to secure the nomination in 2016. Or Vice Versa, if Clinton wins and Obama is her VP then Obama will gain more experience and he will make sure Hillary succeeds because he will be guaranteed to get it in 2016. That could lead to 16 years of a democrat president. I’m all for it. I know some of you do not like Hillary but I think Hillary would make a great president, she has shown that she is a fighter within her personal life and thru this election process. Obama would make a great president but I’m not 100% convinced because I watch his debates and he does give good speeches but he never tells me of what the BIG CHANGE is going to be. So he isn’t accountable to do anything because he never made no promises. He also said that Hillary has become negative and honestly, The situation with NAFTA and the real estate guy is some thing that Obama brought on himself, if the situation was reversed, Obama would try to capitalize on the situation if it was in his favor. You can not say one thing and then turn around and do another just to try to hoodwink the voters into voting for him.
So neither Obama or Clinton are perfect but in order to unite our party, at the end of the day, they will need each other’s voters to win the nomination. It is the only possible way to secure the nomination. The VP is just as important as the president so you will need to know if the VP could take over if something was to happen to the president.
So to end, if you are a democrat, VOTE OBAMA or HILLARY, I’m pretty sure they will be united and run together. If they do not run together then we will all know that they did not put their EGO’s aside to do what is best for our COUNTRY!!!
Go OBAMA and HILLARY, MAKE HISTORY and get our ECONOMY to how it was will BILL was in office!!!!
lmao @ how ppl perceive hilary. she can’t do any right in ppl’s eyes. she can’t be “sweet” b/c then she’s an emotional woman and she can’t act like a politician b/c then she’s cold and calculating. there’s so much sexism in this country, it’s ridiculous. ppl act like this woman is satan when really she’s acting like a politician, she’s acting like a man and ppl seem to subconsciously hate that. all i know is i support both hilary and obama. i might not vote for hilary (and that’s only b/c she doesn’t support ONE thing that i support) but if she were to win, as unlikely as that is right now, i would support her just as much as i would support obama
its had for me to relate to hilary too but your not suppose to vote for who u think will make a better friend, ur supposed to vote for who u think will support the countrys people better. yes, Obama is younger, yes he is black(i dont know what the big deal is, just cuz he is black, everyone who is black is like I MUST VOTE FOR HIM), and yes he is more friendly. BUT he has ZERO experience, he is a liar, and there is a big chance he will be assasinated because he is getting death threats every 5 seconds and racists are crazy enough to go too far. So i vote for hilary. she has been around thiss before. she at least has an idea of how to deal with it, she said herself that bill wasnt tht good of a president so she knows. She has mroe realistic ideas. She hasnt been caught in as many lies as Obama. Obama said that he is against Big Businesses and they will be against it, while his wife is part of a huge business. He copied the whole speech of someone else( i forget his name), and he lied to Ohio about getting them jobs because he went to Canada and told them tht he was just lying to Ohio so they cud vote for him. HILARY is gonna be a better president, wheater shes sweet and friendly or not.
http://thewalleyreview.blogspot.com
I’m grateful that Obama won Wyoming. He didn’t get much out of it but at least it boosted the momentum that he lost, thanks to Hillary’s winning TX, and Ohio. But like one of the news guys said, a win is a win, and every delegate counts. I am also very glad that Barack is winning all of the small states. Hopefully if Hillary takes PA, that will be it for her. Even though there is still Kentucky and a few other states that favor her, hopefully Barack will wrap this up by at least June.
I hope to God that he takes Mississippi by a huge margin and take a good chunk of the states delegates.
Come on. Lets wrap this up.
@Twintron4
Thank You!!!
Hillary is such a hyprocrite!! And why aren’t we hearing about the Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s Conservative Party government trying to sabotage Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLJJ88HTiX8
I HONESTLY FEEL THAT MOST OBAMA SUPPORTERS ARE JUST VOTING FOR THIS MAN BECAUSE HE IS BLACK AND NOT THE BETTER CANDIDATE. IF HE WASNT IN THE PICTURE…..I GUARANTEE MAJORITY, IF NOT ALL WOULD BE VOTING FOR HILLARY. I HAVE WATCHED THEIR DEBATES CLOSELY AND HILLARY IS A BETTER DEBATER THAT STICKS TO THE ISSUES AND HE TENDS TO WANDER OFF AND PREACH. GO HILLARY!
Go Obama. The dude is best and cant settle with Hillary for the Vice President cuz he’s the best and the next President…
Bill Clinton is a joke. And so is anybody that believes what they say. They have done a great job at alienating Black voters. In return, they get NO vote from me. I would never vote for her. And her mention that she will pick Obama as her VP while she’s bashing him is unexcuseable. I am very informed. Obama 08 period.
I don’t mean to be negative…or a jinx…but I think that unless Obama walks around with a bulletproof vest and a helmet everywhere he goes, his ass is gonna get assasinated. If he becomes president, they are going to need O.D. security for that man. So whether or not he is a good or bad politician I seriously admire him for putting his life on the line for this election. cuz we all know them rednecks is plottin hard body. no joke.
NO MY PEOPLE…CLINTON AND OBAMA DO NOT NEED EACH OTHER…OBAMA IS RIGHT THAT IT IS TIME FOR CHANGE…THE FAMILY CORPORATE DYNASTIES ARE OVER FOR THE CLINTONS AND BUSHES FOLKS!!! WAKE UP!–A TICKET WITH OBAMA ON TOP AND CLINTON ON THE BOTTOM SHOULD NOT EVER HAPPEN!!!
First off, I think that it is time for the Clinton’s to sit down FOREVER!!! I do not know what is wrong with the Obama Camp. I am starting to grow increasingly tired. He needs to deal with the Resko situation, and point out the fact that no one is perfect. Furthermore, his camp needs to point out the trickery and deceit of the Clintons and their connections with the Carlyle Group and their connections with G.W. Bush I (Carlyle Group advisors all came from the Clinton gang), and their dealings with the Middle East. Obama needs to home in on their tax return. There you will find that over 10 million dollars given to the Clintons, came from the Saudis, and Bin Laden families that is or was used for the Clinton Presidential Library…this is what the Clinton’s do not want people to know that they are “sleeping with the enemies”, and they are not true progressives or Liberals. Hilary Clinton has been baiting John McCain in the news recently, making comments about her and McCain’s experience, versus Obama’s speech. More importantly, don’t forget Mark Penn’s sordid Arabian connections:Burson-Marsteller’s work is primarily for corporations, ranging from Blackwater to Microsoft to the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, the sovereign wealth fund of the government of Abu Dhabi that recently purchased a 5% stake in Citigroup.
And for those who do not know Mark Penn is now as Hillary Clinton’s chief advisor, is also the chief executive of WPP’s Burson-Marsteller, which is the parent company for BKSH, making Penn the boss of John McCain’s lead advisor, Charles Black, the BKSH chairman.
People of Ohio and others have been bamboozled by the Clinton’s and the NAFTA situation, thus, there is a reason why “Big Businesses, Love the Clintons”, because if you looked into the NAFTA outcome, Clinton basically gave Canada a “wink-wink” and more or less said to them and the corporate world, once I am back in office, things will be back to “same ole’ thing”!.
OBAMA….Let them even try to run Resko…there is too much of a dirt trail leading to the stinking crap (since I cannot swear on this form) that really shows the country and people that they are scum and slime. The Clintons will sell their souls to the devil for power….its one thing to sit here and say you are a democrat and for the people, when you really are wolves in sheep’s clothing. Hillary is not the same cloth as Bill Clinton, she hailed from a conservative family, and values. At some point when slick willy was getting his willy wet with everyone else than his wife, he sold his soul to Hilary for a shot at the White-House at any cost…why is Hillary taking this “battered-wife” syndrome on the American people? She is sick and they both need to be ousted for their crookery and scumming ways! They are willing to tear down the Democratic Party, so that they can continue to be in power at any cost…even if it means going completely conservative PEOPLE…. WAKE UP!!!!
ASK YOURSELF THE QUESTIONS WHY…AND STAY AWAY FROM THE CLINTON’S FOLKS AND WAKE UP.
Secondly, this is the same woman who wanted to sue Texas, because Obama won in the districts where the votes count more heavily, because for years those voters, who happened to be people of color, were jacked when the conservatives re-districted Texas some years ago when G.W. was in power…but yet, she was willing to further disenfranchise those minority voters, for voting for Obama…she has no respect for him as an articulate and bright person, who has every right to be President of the United States…PLEASE LOOK AT THE CLINTONS FOLKS..THERE IS A REASON WHY THE REPUBLICANS AND PEOPLE TRULY HAVE HATRED FOR THEM…I am not saying to hate them..but look at them for what they truly are….DIRT!
I SAY NO TO OBAMA-CLINTON TICKET! NOT HAPPENING…JOHN EDWARDS FIRST BEFORE CLINTON. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY I WILL VOTE!
@ #30 AKA NEW YORKER I co-sign that!!! We shall see. I see it as not only a historical moment, but also a win-win situation. Both have my support, even though I will be voting for Obama.
The Clinton machine is in full swing. With her AND Bill (who suddenly re-appears after his ban due to all of the Obama/African American bashing) making statements about a joint ticket. It’s clear that she is more likely to loose the nomination even while relying on super delegate support. So her camp is only using the Obama name to glean a positive relationship to her. Those last minute supporters that have not made a decision that think they have the opportunity to get the best of both candidates in a co ticket. SHAME ON YOU HILLARY!! (lol)
Senator Obama has my ear, he had it after hearing him speak at the Dem convention.
For the first time I actually beleive that this country has the opportunity to move forward, we seem to have a “new american generation” of positive thinkers who don’t allow color class or religion dictate their choices.
In the earlier posts, there was a comment on Hillary as being robotic, and then there was a counter post about woman and double standards, and that Hillary was just acting like a man. Well, I have to say – Obama has raised the bar and standards. We are talking about integrity, he has taken the high road in each and every circumstance where she tried to drag him down to her level.
I live in NJ, so I’ve had the opportunity to see her public persona during her past couple of terms of her as NY Senator, as well as seeing her in the White House.
She speaks with no conviction, she has a steely sense about her delivery, she’s a monster (lol), SHES JUST NOT LIKEABLE.
Senator Obama, in my opinon seems to be genuine.
Hilary needs to make her mind up. She acts like she says obama is a liar, but why will she want a liar her vp….hummm……
So many naive posts its sad……….In my 20′s and 30′s I was a Democrat. In my 40′s I’m a moderate Republican/conservative Democrat. What changed? I’ll tell you what changed.
I’ve seen more and more people who look JUST LIKE ME milking the “system”, then getting an attitude when they can’t milk it anymore. And the system I’m referring to is the healthcare system.
For example, my sister the Pharmacist, has told me MANY, MANY stories of the patients who comes through the drive through in a Mercedes with a medicaid card. WTF? I’ve seen patients complain about having to buy meds for HIV, cancer, diabetes for a whopping 7 dollars, yet have a pair of brand new Jordan’s on or the newest Gucci bag on their shoulder. Think this kind of waste isn’t common? Think again.
So it’s easy when your young and quite frankly not making much money to be all about the Dems, but in 10 or 15 years when it’s YOUR tax money being wasted by so many people who look like you, you might just change your tune and party affiliation too.
Wanna make a difference for Black folks? Volunteer in an inner city school, or a homeless shelter, be an organ donor, because standing by the Democrats no matter what, ain’t necessarily the answer.
Go Obama!
Just to clarify what I said earlier…I don’t think that Hilary is a bad candidate at all…She’s a very smart and intelligent woman, and a good example to all women regardless of race…On that same note, I do think she is just as qualified to run the country as Obama…With that being said, there leaves only one thing for me personally to go on, and that is if I can relate to her better…It has nothing to do with her being white and Barack being black…I would never base a decision on someone’s race, but I just find Barack to be more personable, which in this case is my deal breaker b/c I look at them equally as presidential candidates
Onemil02
i agree. even if you ask most obama supporters they say they would like a combined ticket with Clinton at the top of the ticket. and obama should run in 8 years that way he can win b/c hell have the experience by then
Im black but im going with Clinton
but they need each other. if they dont combin ethe ticket. the party is going to spilt. Clinton has expressed shes open to it. Obama hasnt and i thnk that he’s putting himself above the cause by being selfish
chloe
you’re stupid. Bill Clinton never bashed us blacks. his statement was very true and not racial. Jackson did win south carolina or north whatever. and didnt win the nomintation. thats not a racial statement at all.
what you need to realize is that Obama is wining mostly caucuses. which means that in a general elections those are RED states. CLINTON WINS THE BLUE STATES and the BIG ones at that.
the states obama are winning most of them he will lose in a general election. OPEN YOUR EYES
go clinton but they need to combine the ticket. and its Obama whos that one that doesnt want to not her
Okay, so let me get this straight. Hillary is loosing to Obama and yet she’s offering him the VP spot. SMH. I hope no one falls for this foolishness. She’s clearly trying to peel off his voters. She needs him, not the other way around. Obama has tons of VP’s to choose from who have way more experience that Hillary Clinton and who don’t come with all the baggage and scandals. He doesn’t need her and she knows it. As a matter of fact she’d be a drag on him.
I’m convinced that the people who continue to say that Obama has no experience and claim the Hillary has experience are just to lazy to think for themselves and just repeat the narrative they hear on mainstream news. Barack Obama has over two decades of public service. Hillary Clinton has EXPOSURE – NOT EXPERIENCE. If she wasn’t married to the president, she wouldn’t have been senator and this conversation wouldn’t even exist. Barack Obama is an authentic candidate. He got to where he is on his own merit and has held elected office longer than she has. He has also dedicated his entire professional career to public service and he’s brilliant. Read his blueprint for America. It’s the most innovative plan of all the candidates and he also gives his record on all the issues in question.
It’s no longer acceptable to say “i don’t know what he stands for” or “i don’t know anything about him”. The information is out there. If you can go to this website and check gossip news, you can go to his website and read up on his policies. There’s no excuse to not be informed at this point.
Also, please stop telling me the black people are voting for him because he’s black. Because I’m black and I’m voting for him because he’s the best the candidate, period. White people have been electing white people in this country since the beginning of time. So I guess were supposed to assume that they’re sophisticated voters and we some how are just mindless idiots. In Ohio, 1 out of 5 voters said their decision was based on race. Out of the people who made their decisions based on race, they voted for Hillary Clinton. So please don’t get on your soap box and pretend that only black people vote based on your race.
Last thing, he won in texas technically – he won the caucuses and got the most delegates at the end of it all. She’s still trailing him.
@ walter, please get the facts straight before you spout the clinton campaigns foolishness
1. Michelle Obama does not work for a big business. She works for the University of Chicago Hospitals where she VP of external affairs. Working to connect the hospitals services tot he community, recruiting doctors to work in low income neighborhoods among other things.
2. Barack Obama took a line from Deval Patricks speach, his close friend and co-chair of his campaign. Patrick gave him that line to use as Obama has given him lines to use in the past.
3. Obama was discussing Nafta and he didn’t tell anything different to Canada than he told to the American people. And of course after 3/4 it has come out the that “memo” from candada is in fact false as the Obama campaign has said from the beginning and now there’s rumors that it was actually a Clinton staffer who made those comments.
@ Zack
You should get your facts straight before you call someone else stupid on this site.
Obama has won “BLUE states”, “RED states”, Primaries AND Caucuses. He has the most states, the most delegates and the majority of the popular vote. He’s the front runner for a reason.
If you look at the margins he lost to Hillary in the few states she’s one, the gap is much smaller than in the states she lost to him in. There is no reason to believe that in the general election he can’t carry the states she’s won considering:
1. they almost always go democratic regardless of who’s running
2. he didn’t loose by a large margin
3. He still has the grassroots support and infrastructure left in these states from campaigning
4. He get more voters out than the republicans and John McCain is not going to waste his resource in these states
4. He’ll be the nominee and have the full backing of the party establishment behind him including the democratic governer’s of these states.
The Clinton campaign knows he can win the few state’s she’s won in the general election. They’re just reaching for straws. Trying to find anyway possible to explain away his success. I guess comparing him to Jessie Jackson didn’t work, so now their trying this bull. This argument is laughable at best.
Here’s what you can assume. Hillary will not be able to carry any of the “red states” he’s one because her margin of loss has been huge (double digit in most), but Barack actually might have a chance of winning a few of those states because of the high turn out he gets. This is the reason the republican’s don’t want him to be the nominee. They know he’ll change the dynamic, especially if he has a really well liked VP. Clinton on the ticket will bring republican’s out to vote against her in droves. Barack is running 50 state strategy. Hillary is stuck on stupid like the rest of the party only putting effort into the big states and loosing everything else. Newsflash – that hasn’t worked in the past 8 years. It’s the reason Gore loss and the reason Kerry loss. Also, Barack has been nationally polling stronger than McCain and Clinton for month’s now. Barack is ready to lead.
Once again, as soon as I hear someone claim that Hillary is more experienced, I just move on, because clearly that person has drank the Hillary kool-aid and has been tricked into believing this woman is somehow more qualified than Obama. If you choose not to be informed and fall for fear tactics, race baiting and “3 am ads” good for you, but I have much more political discernment. The question is are we going to keep voting out of fear or vote for the best candidate. Obviously people are making the right decision, because he’s in the lead!
Obama 08!
Cookie, you need to get a few more birthdays. It’s a pathethic and mysoginst arguement to say that Sen Clinton only became a senator because of her husband since she has just as much education as her husband. And if you’re a woman making these statements, YOU should be ashamed of yourself.
It’s also very naive to think that Black folks aren’t voting for Obama because he’s black, then state that white folks have always done that.
Learn some history, Gore DIDN’T loose, he had his election win stolen from him. Or were you in elementary school and thus unaware when Gore ran for president?
What makes Clinton more qualifed has nothing to do with her time in elective office. It’s about knowing how the game is being played on a national scale, something Obama has no clue about because he’s only been playing REAL political games(ie in DC) since becoming a Senator. And yes her “exposure” counts as well as her experience from having gone head to head with insurance companies trying to implement a national health care program.
FYI, the idea of not knowing jack shit, then bringing people on board who do, didn’t work for the current president and won’t work for Obama.
And BTW, that 3AM ad was the funniest thing I’ve seen in a political election in 24 years, lol!!!
@ 11… Don’t be so easily brainwashed. Clinton is running around suggesting that her and Obama may become running mates as a way of getting simple minded people to vote for her with the thought that she is promising them a “two-for -one,” deal.
By implying such a thing people assume that Clinton would offer Obama the VP and assuming that he would accept. This is another one of her deceptive and manipulative plots to try to sway independent, undecided and moderate voters. This suggestion also allows her to take advantage of (use) the respectable image and good will, that Obama has worked hard for, in her favor, since the Hillary Clinton’s name is synonymous with deceit, scandal, divisiveness and cunningness. By implying that he would be her VP, Clinton hopes that voters decide that because they like Obama and are familiar with Clinton that they will vote on her, trusting that she will give them the VP that she is suggesting. The question I ask is, “If she is so convinced that even McCain would be a better president that Barack, why would she want him to be her VP?” Simple question, simple answer, bc everything that comes out of her mouth is vague, at best, but more often propaganda.
DON”T BE SO EASILY DECEIVED, I am willing that Hillary NEVER makes a definite statement that will bind her to offering Barack the VP position. MOREOVER, even if she does, Barack Obama is still the better PRESIDENTIAL candidate. We all should be tired of lies and trickery in the White House.
@15 actually, it makes no sense to vote for McCain if Clinton does not win the election. If you support Hillary for a plausible reason, then you know that her and McCain differ on most issues. So, if your voting the issues you next best option would be Obama, who in my opinion is the absolute best option. However, you rationale does make sense if you either enjoy or have just adapted to being constantly lied to.
@ Justice66
Yes I am woman and no I was not in elementary school when he ran. Maybe YOU should learn some history. People like to remember Florida and the Nader effect, but they forget that Al Gore lost his own home state. Once again, as I said before, playing that blue state/red state game isn’t working for the democrats. Were still loosing. First it came down to Florida, then it came down to Ohio and once a again we loss. That’s a result of putting all of your eggs into one political basket. It interesting how democrats are still salty over Bush stealing florida, but are more than prepared to have Hillary Clinton steal the nomination.
You need to look up the definition of misogyny, because that statement was not misogynistic or sexist or anything near that. Incase you didn’t read it correctly, I didn’t say Hillary didn’t have as much education as her husband, I said she would have never became NY senator if her husband was not president and that’s not misogyny that’s the truth. I’m not sure if YOU were elementary school during her Senate race, but I was right here in NY. She came in as a carpetbagger and used her husbands influence to get the strongest democratic candidate on the ballot to not pursue the nomination so that she can use it as a stepping stone the presidency. The NY Democratic committee followed the lead of her husband, the most senior democrat in the US, and supported her nomination. This was not a secret, it is not debated, it’s a fact. After she became the nominee, Guiliani got prostate cancer and had to drop out the race and she won. That’s not sexism, that’s a fact. Her husband is the reason why she became senator of NY and it is his record that she is running on for president. Hillary had no connection to NY and no history here, but she knew if she could get the Senate seat in a high profile state she could use it and her husbands record as a stepping stone for the presidency. Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t that exactly what she’s doing right now? If Hillary Clinton ran as one term unknown Junior Senator from NY this race would be much different. Period.
Your belief that her record and experience are irrelevant, but her ability to “play the game” is what’s makes her qualified is laughable. Look at her legislative record in the Senate and compare it to Obama’s. Not only is his legislation bolder he actually has reached across the party lines and had republican co sponsors. The Luger-Obama nuclear proliferation bill is a perfect example of this. Hillary has shown less ability to get her bills passed and far less ability to even get co sponsors. Obama’s picked up 45 super delegates since super tuesday and she’s lost 6. Hillary and Bill Clinton have been plagued by political scandals since his days as governor and her campaign didn’t even have the foresight to prepare for races after super tuesday, yet you still assert she’s the one who knows how to “play the game”. She can’t even get Al Gore or Nancy Pelosi’s endorsement. I think Obama is much more shrewd than people realize. I’m sure the Clinton’s are realizing that as he gives them the run of their life.
Finally, it’s funny how you sight her exposure going head to head with insurance companies as some kind of plus. That’s nice that she went head to head with them, BUT SHE FAILED MISERABLY, partially because she was divisive and didn’t “know how to play the game”. Also these same insurance companies are now funding her campaign and have been since she ran for the senate. So I’m curious to see how going head to head with them is going to look now? In the meanwhile, Barack Obama expanded health insurance as a state legislature and cosponsored bills to do the same as a US Senator.
I will continue to support Obama, he is the best candidate. Experience, moral courage, judgment, results, proven leadership and character. You can’t ask for more in a candidate. Of course I want other people to do the same, but to each it’s own. I encourage everyone to actually learn a little more about Obama instead of listening to the pundits. You’ll learn what the majority of democrats have figured out. He’s the best candidate for the job.
#52 – It’s Clinton or McCain for me because we need someone in the Whitehouse who knows how to play the game. Obama hasn’t been around long enough to have learned that yet IMHO.
A poster earlier said that they would not vote for Hillary if she wins (steals) the nomination but would vote 4 McCain..Then another poster slammed her calling her thinking stupid…Welllll lemme tell ya something, every person I talk to that is an Obama supporter (including myself) said they would not vote for Hillary…Why, because she will do and say anyyyyyything to win, including that nonsense about McCain being qualified to be pres., or crying one day, or calling Obama’s followers more less stupid or delusional….I have tried to like Hillary but how can you when she & her husband (Lawinski gate) are just plain shady…I will not vote for her but will either vote 4 McCain who happends to be one of the most liberal republicans or not vote at all, plus I like that he to is a veteran..The whole democratic process is not even democratic and needs to be re-vamped…Why you wanna put Bill back in the oval office after what he did?? Totally disrespected the title and office…Him and Hillary are married but live in different houses??? WTF…Here we got a black man with a beautiful black wife with 2 pretty lil girls, family is clean as clorox, scandal free (for now) but people wanna put the Clinton back in the white house??? Only in American and only can white people get away with being so scandalous and yet the media, etc. are acting as if they are the perfect (fake) couple…SMDH.
#53, that some notable Dems aren’t supporting Clinton is more a testamnent to their lack of backbone than anything else. They are simply playing the political game of looking out for who they are guessing may win the nomination. Plus they want to be on the right side of this when relelection time rolls around.
Yes, Clinton wasn’t sucessful in getting a Universival Health care bill passed, but with experience in both big Pharma and in medicine, I can tell you that the reason has NOTHING to do with her political skills. Doctors and big Pharma have what are called lobbyist who pay big bucks to get their way.
I’m no political afficionado so I can’t go toe to toe with you on who’s passed what bill nor do I think that is that relevant here. Based on his debate performance, Obama’s persona isn’t presidental in the slightest and as you’ll learn as you get older, the appearence of things can be just as much if not more powerful that reality. Like McCain, Clinton has that attack dog in her and that’s what needed for a country at war.
“Why you wanna put Bill back in the oval office after what he did?? Totally disrespected the title and office…Him and Hillary are married but live in different houses??? WTF”
Do you really believe that Bill Clinton is the first president to get a “job” in the Oval office, lol?? Will someone please call the moral police, ’cause we ’bout to make a citizens arrest up in here! And what did Bill do while in office? Are u aware that blacks became more prosperous uder HIS administration than at any other time? Are you aware that he appointed more people of color to high level positions that ANY other president in American history? And while I’m at it, that statement he made about Jesse Jackson wasn’t racist. Black folks need to stop being so dam sensitive all the time.
As for living in seperate houses, so what?? Military families do it ALL THE TIME, but I don’t see anyone trying to slam their family units. I see Afrians and Asians live seprately all the time while here in the US trying to make a better life for their families.
Bill is simply doing what a good husband does and that is whatever it takes to support HIS family. Besides Sen Clinton did it for him for YEARS, now it’s HIS turn.
Obama wants to get the lobbyists out of Washington, and return the government to the people, working for the people, and not lobbyists, and special interest groupd. Hillary says she will KEEP lobbyists in Washington, and that she does not mind taking money from lobbyists, and special interest groups (who are on the side of big business), AS A MATTER OF FACT, Hillary actually has 3 active lobbyists working on her campaign.
Obama wants to bring transparency to government, to let the citizens of America know where their tax dollars are being spent.
- Hillary will NOT release information on where the over $300 million dollars in earmarks she received has been spent.
- Hillary will NOT release her tax records, so that citizens can see where it is she is getting her money from (BOTH Obama, and McCain HAVE ALREADY realeased their tax recods, they actually did it a year ago. Can you imagine the uproar Hillary would have been causing, the names they would have been calling Obama, if it was Obama was holding off on releasing his tax records, Hillary would have lost her mind), YET Hillay will NOT be open, and transparenacy!! She is a hypocrite, and she is obvioulsy stalling for some reason.
- Hillary, also will NOT reveal her White house papers, which she has been dragging her feet, and refusing to do for 7 years now, since Bill left the White House 7 years ago.
Hillary is obvioulsy NOT for transparency, she is hiding documents, refusing to make them public, AND whats worst is that she is NOT even in the White House yet.
If she is doing this now, don`t expect her to act any different if she is in the White House.
Let’s not forget that Hillary Clinton, and Bill Clinton, BOTH have a fraud case pending against them in the SUPERIOR COURT OF CALIFORNIA

CASE# BC304174
** ALSO WATCH THE YOUTUBE VIDEO: THE VIDEO HILLARY DOES NOT WANT YOU TO SEE. To see what this case is pertaining to, and why Hillary WILL PROBABLY NEVER be elected for president!
Hillary Clinton, BRINGS WITH HER WAY TOO MUCH BAGGAGE, including past and present legal cases, Hillary will only bring Obama down. THERE IS NO PLUS SIDE AT ALL FOR OBAMA TO HAVE HILLARY AS HIS VICE PRESIDENT, Her legal baggage, and secretive nature IS going to cause the Democrats to lose the general election, if she is anywhere near the ticket.

I totally agree with your information. People are always voting aganist their own best interest.
If we would do our homework and follow the money, we would be a very wise voter.
billary is not good for this country. how can you disrespect a fellow democrat and then support him in the end.
I am through with this b… I will never vote for her. even if barack was vp.
