The husband of Grammy nominated singer, Corinne Bailey Rae was found dead in a Leeds (200 miles from London) apartment on Saturday.
Various news sources report that the body of 32-year-old Jason Rae was found around 3:15 PM Saturday, a victim of an apparent drug overdose.
Word is, the Cops arrested a 32-year-old man for “supplying controlled substances.” But he was then released on bail shortly after.
Jason Rae was a saxophonist with the Haggis Horns and married Corinne back in 2001.
The 29-year-old Bailey Rae is probably best known for her songs “Put Your Records On” and “Like A Star.”
Angela Bassett Fears Plastic Surgery
Angela Bassett who just received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was nervous for the ceremony, but it is nothing compared to her fear of plastic surgery. Bassett told Chris Yandek of CYInterview.com that she has considered it, but she is frightened,
“I’d do but I am too scared. I am too much of a chicken to go through with something like that, maybe in time. I don’t know. I am too scared to let somebody cut on my face like that.”
On why she was nervous for her star ceremony, Bassett said,
“You always remember where you were in the beginning. You had idealistic and hoping people would accept you and allow you to do what it is that you love doing and not initially looking for the accolades, just looking for the opportunity. Then when the accolades come it just makes it that much sweeter.”

A Boston woman claims to have pitched a reality show idea titled “The Philanthropist” to producers for Oprah Winfrey, only to see her idea come to fruition and air three years later under the name “Oprah’s Big Give.”
According to the New York Daily News’ Rush & Malloy column, Darlene Tracy says it was Feb. 2005 when she developed her concept for “The Philanthropist,” which would feature challenges in which contestants find ways to help the needy. Tracy claims she sent her pitch to Ellen Rakieten, executive producer of Winfrey’s talk show, and that Rakieten and another producer, Jennifer Thornton, wrote back to ask for more details.
Tracy claims to have mailed a detailed business proposal on March 1, 2005. Four months later, Thornton allegedly told Tracy that Oprah’s company, Harpo Productions, was going to pass on her idea [READ MORE].

Angela sounds phoney and fake; can’t put my finger on it, but at times when she talk, she sound hella phoney and sounds like she’s saying a bunch of nothing…..but on the other hand, she should have won an oscar for her portrayal of tina turner, she was robbed of that in my opinion.
IF this is true about Oprah, then i hope Oprah didn’t know about it. It’s impossible for a person of Oprah’s status to know about everything, so she hires people to do those things and check these things for her. Sounds like perhaps one of her people either dropped the ball, or wanted to impress Oprah, and made it appear as if they came up with this themselves. This could be a mess.

That’s how it’s done. You pitch your idea and hope the studio goes with it. Each year, there is actually a season for this, people come in and pitch ideas about shows, and then the studio either goes with it, or not.
That is so sad. I feel like praying for Corinne. She is such a beauty and a talent. WOW, be strong through this. I love her music and just her whole low-key persona.
