Sean ” Diddy” Combs has spoken out about a published report that has linked him to the 1994 shooting of Tupac Shakur.
An article published earlier today in the L.A. Times claims Diddy (and The Notorious B.I.G.) were informed of the plan, hatched by Jimmy Henchman and James Sabatino, which resulted in Tupac getting shot 5x and sparking a sensationalized rap war.
But Diddy tells Concreteloop.com, through his rep, that none of this is true.
“This story is beyond ridiculous and is completely false. Neither Biggie nor I had any knowledge of any attack before, during, or after it happened. It is a complete lie to suggest that there was any involvement by Biggie or myself. I am shocked that the Los Angeles Times would be so irresponsible as to publish such a baseless and completely untrue story.” he said.

Last week it was announced that Grammy-winning R&B singer-songwriter India.Arie will star in the first Broadway revival of “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When the Rainbow Is Enuf.”
Often described as a choreopoem, the play presents the stories of seven women of color from the African Diaspora.
No other cast members have been chosen, nor has a theater been named. It is scheduled to begin previews in mid-July, ahead of an opening in early August. Shirley Jo Finney will direct, and three-time Tony winner Hinton Battle will choreograph.
Word is Whoopi Goldberg will be producing it.

It was reported recently in New York Daily News that Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith recently joined the long list of celebrities affiliated the Church of Scientology.
They said he distributed gifts to his entire crew, complete with a Scientology screening test, after filming for his new comedy Hancock was complete. Of course, Smith’s reps deny any affiliation, but sources insist the two are becoming more and more involved in the church.
“It’s not so much that anyone is upset that Will is becoming a Scientologist,” the source added after seeing a copy of the nine-page Radar piece. “It’s that as he becomes more involved, you’d think he’d sort of help fly the flag with Tom (Cruise), who seems to only get a bad rap for it, while Will does this and comes through just fine.” [SOURCE]

scientology? that “religion” is so strange. i have researched it because i don’t like to talk sh*t about something that i dont know about. scientology is creepy. it is funny that they say he is a scientologist. he does like doing those alien movies. bottom line, i don’t like the religion, i dont believe it, and i think its all brain washing just like most of the other religions in this world. just do u. why follow someone else. i am my own peson/god. i look out for me

Will Smith, Jada Pinkett and Kimora Lee Simmons are loudly denying Radar magazine’s claims that they’ve been recruited into — dun dun dun! — the Church of Scientology.
Smith, a good buddy of Scientology poster boy Tom Cruise, denies he is a church member. “You don’t have to be Jewish to be a friend of Steven Spielberg. You don’t have to be a Muslim to be a friend of Muhammad Ali. And you don’t have to be a Scientologist to be a friend of Tom Cruise,” Smith tells us. “I am a Christian. I am a student of all religions. And I respect all people and all paths.”
Despite reports she distributed the Scientology book “The Way to Happiness” to N.Y. school kids, Simmons’ reps also denied her involvement.
But while celebs are distancing themselves from the cultlike religion, Radar’s blistering six-page expose of the church says leaders are more concerned by the dissension of its former members, namely the shadowy network of ex-Scientologists known as “Anonymous.”
The group is credited with leaking the now-infamous recruiting tape of Cruise laughing maniacally (in an equally creepy turtleneck). The pranksters/hackers also managed to crash the church’s Web site for three days and post confidential Scientololgy documents and lectures on YouTube.
Said Church spokeswoman Karin Pouw: “This group of cyber-terrorists … has targeted the Scientology religion with hate speech and hate crimes” and has even left “threats to plant nitroglycerin bombs in churches.”

We’ve been covering the story with Tupac’s shooting over at Highbrid Nation and honestly I don’t know. I have no doubt that Diddy is a shady character but somehow I just don’t buy that he knew or was somehow involved. I’m gonna be watching this one closly though.
