Beyoncé Knowles (pictured with co-star Adrien Brody) was spotted coming out of her trailer over the weekend. The singer / actress was heading to the set of “Cadillac Records” which was being filmed in New Jersey.
If you don’t know by now, Beyonce will be playing Etta James in the upcoming flick. The movie also stars: Gabrielle Union and Jeffery Wright.
I cant wait to see this its her last shot to prove she no robot!!!!!

I was just being funny when, after seeing the first candid from the said, I said she was probably going to cut and dye her own hair because it would seem like “getting into the character”… And, this absolutely looks like she’s doing that…that looks like her hair. And, why is she looking mean? Is she “in character”? Whatever…
At least the setting looks like the movie is going to be raw and gritty…no glitter and fluff like Dreamgirls.

People get on actors portraying other public figures and say well that person doesn’t look like Etta and clearly Beyonce doesn’t However if she pulls it off with the character transformation then I will give Beyonce so much credit for really trying. #28, I think being a robot might actually work in her favor this time… Just washing her face and taking the wig off is enough of a dramatic transition for Beyonce… So, sure, I can see her looking a bit like someone else… In these pictures, she’s only wearing a fresh face…she’s on her way to makeup…and look how different she looks. So, as I said…taking off her Beyonce costume makes her looks less like herself so it should be easy to be natural and then go into looking like someone else…

im hoping beyonce is smart enough to know that this is make or break. playing a public figure is hard as hell and can be open to ridicule. im not sure she has what it takes to pull it off like Angela did Tina, or Denzel did Malcom, or Halle did Dorthy.
