People to realize that B.I.G. and 2Pac were barely in their mid-20s when they were killed. Who knows what changes they could have made if they were still alive today. Anyone who has ever read the Autobiography of Malcolm X, knows that Malcolm wasn’t uplifting his people in his mid-20s he was in prison, but he was allowed to live long enough to gain awareness of the wrongs that he was doing and grow as a man. Something that BIG, Pac and countless of young brothers never get a chance to do. Peace.

Goodness, people, you don’t have to look like the person you’re are trying to portray exactly to pull it off. As long as they have Biggie’s and Faith’s personalities down, they’ll do just fine. I’m still not sold on this film just yet, however.

One song he tells women and others to “keep their head up” and on other songs “Outlaws” (Me against the world album) he tells a young boy to be a “mutha fuckin G” when he grows up. Great rapper, but not so great role model.

With the majority of the folks in the hood too afraid to snitch its no wonder Biggs and Pac’s killers aren’t locked up.

To Light Eyes: I never said Pac, BIG or any rapper should be the ideal role model for young people. Yes 2Pac flip-flop when it comes to the message of his music but let be honest that what all human beings do. I would never want to be a celebrity because all your defeat and learning experiences are there for everyone to see and it seem to me the very things that makes us flawed human beings aren’t allowed for people in the spotlight (From rappers to polticians). If we sit back and look@ our past I’m sure you can see moments in your life that doesn’t reflect the person you are or the person you working on in the future. I don’t want anyone to think that I’m saying Pac & BIG would have been Booker T. Washington or Marcus Garvey, I just want to remind people that these guys were young men trying to find their way in life…just like I am at the moment. Peace.

More than likely your not going to get a person who favors them and a person who can act at the same time. As long as the person has some of the features then I think the acting is the most important matter.

The girl play Faith is pretty. She kinda thin to be faith back in the 90s but oh well. Both actors may have some crazy acting skills since the director is the one who did Soul Food and everyone loved that movie. I hear Angela Bassett and Derek Luke are in it as well which seems great because they are both great actor/actress. Wish them the best of luck with this movie.

They look like they could play the biggie and faith.

I have a feeling this is going to be a low budget DVD movie…either way people are going to be curious to see it. I doubt if it will be in theatres because they don’t have a well known actor/actress to really push it…all of them a pretty new….but who knows maybe the whole Biggie legacy will be enough. The girl playing Faith favors her just because she is light skin with blonde hair like Faith used to have. I am interested in seeing some pics of Naturi playing Lil Kim though!

I am extremely excited about the new biggie movie man…I really dont know much about the director but i hope that he is not a lame and that he does not depict biggie in the scence that we already know him in. I hope the director gets the whole story. I would like for him to talk to people who were on the inside but not friends but music exects and interns you know people that dont really have a reason to like about shit.
