    Both Biggie & Tupac’s assassinations,
Are similar to the death Malcolm X …
    THINK
Malcolm was killed by his closest people

The people who claim to be “looking for clues”, are the ones who are indeed involved in the conspiracy of these unsolved murders that has passed for over a decade. I mean for real, you mean to tell me with all the technology advancement in this era, there is still no substantial evidence found to find suspected murderers in their cases ??? …

Yet, they found the D.C. snipers within 2 weeks of their shootings ???

Welcome to the Show folks …

I hope the movie is worth the effort. I wish them success. It’s good to see young black actors getting work but it’s so unfortunate that the stories we are telling are tragic. Rest in Peace – B.I.G.

@9 Please, it’s insulting to compare Malcolm’s asassination to the death of Biggie or Pac. What exactly did they do to make history and “uplift” their community.

Im really glad that they are picking up some people that arent already “singers” giving unknown people a chance to shine. Hopefully it will be for the better

i wonder will they portray LIL KIM as only his artist. i hope not…that would be real shitty. But the way his mom always refers to her as his artist and nothing more i sure expect it to be that way. Faith knows the truth so hopefully they will shed light on who he was as a man and as the Great Talent he was. think they made great choices with the actors tho.

@Lisa. So you telling me that because B.I.G. & 2Pac didn’t “uplift their community” their death is not as tragic as Malcolm X? People to realize that B.I.G. and 2Pac were barely in their mid-20s when they were killed. Who knows what changes they could have made if they were still alive today. Anyone who has ever read the Autobiography of Malcolm X, knows that Malcolm wasn’t uplifting his people in his mid-20s he was in prison, but he was allowed to live long enough to gain awareness of the wrongs that he was doing and grow as a man. Something that BIG, Pac and countless of young brothers never get a chance to do. Peace.

i think this could turn out to be good, i wonder what Angela looks like as biggies mom? Its the same director from Soul Food, and if Angela Bassett and Derek Luke is in it than its going to be good, and not no straight to dvd bull. I do agree the girl who is playing faith looks a little too classy, faith was and still is hood all the way. But shell do for me.

I think its too soon for this movie, but hopefully its good. They shoulda let ole girl get some popeyes and krispy kremes before they shot her scenes. if u look at ANY of faith videos from the 90′s she was bigger than that! little stuff like that would just distract me from the rest of the movie lol

Goodness, people, you don’t have to look like the person you’re are trying to portray exactly to pull it off. As long as they have Biggie’s and Faith’s personalities down, they’ll do just fine. I’m still not sold on this film just yet, however.

#33 that is pure speculation and as far as 2pac is concerned he flip flopped like no other. One song he tells women and others to “keep their head up” and on other songs “Outlaws” (Me against the world album) he tells a young boy to be a “mutha fuckin G” when he grows up. Great rapper, but not so great role model.

    For Obama

With the majority of the folks in the hood too afraid to snitch its no wonder Biggs and Pac’s killers aren’t locked up.

Why does the black community quick to jump on everyone else to do the leg work for them? Look for the criminals for them, clean up their schools for them? Raise their kids for them? Build rec centers for them? Even call Maury up to find their baby’s daddy’s for them?

    WTF??

To Light Eyes: I never said Pac, BIG or any rapper should be the ideal role model for young people. Yes 2Pac flip-flop when it comes to the message of his music but let be honest that what all human beings do. I would never want to be a celebrity because all your defeat and learning experiences are there for everyone to see and it seem to me the very things that makes us flawed human beings aren’t allowed for people in the spotlight (From rappers to polticians). If we sit back and look@ our past I’m sure you can see moments in your life that doesn’t reflect the person you are or the person you working on in the future. I don’t want anyone to think that I’m saying Pac & BIG would have been Booker T. Washington or Marcus Garvey, I just want to remind people that these guys were young men trying to find their way in life…just like I am at the moment. Peace.

people people people! stop comparing these ppl to the originals. think of all the movies that arte based on people . MOST of them do not look like the originals and they still did a good job ! so who cares. Its hard to find someone who is the exact replica of another person and that can act! so chill out people

You have to wonder. Do people want some one who looks like them or some one who can actually pull off the acting. More than likely your not going to get a person who favors them and a person who can act at the same time. As long as the person has some of the features then I think the acting is the most important matter.

    E Money:

I understand that u feel that the murders should have been solved. I agree. But what if that 48 hours thing is in play here? And I don’t think u can compare this to the sniper shooting where Mohammed left clues for the police. That situation was basically a moving target. But like u said: the Biggy murder is a conspiracy. Nothing to be compared the snipers. With conspiracy, like you said, you have cover-ups. And with cover-ups it is hard to get the truth. One day the truth will come to light.

I keep thinking it looks low budget, but then I remember I thought even the IDEA of it was low budget..and I realize that it only seems so because it’s about a rapper… Seriously, if they can make a movie about every pop/rock star, why can’t they make a film about BIG?
