Vanessa Williams and ex-husband Rick Fox were spotted in Los Angeles on Saturday with their 7 year-old daughter, Sasha. They were trying to sell those infamous Girl Scout Cookies and word is, the “Ugly Betty” star even sold a couple of boxes to the paparazzi. Now that’s straight hustling!
Vanessa and former NBA player Rick got divorced back in ’04. Rumor has it that is was because of some photos The National Enquirer published of Fox kissing another woman. Many other rumors ensued, but obviously they have moved passed that drama for the sake of their child.
I’m sure most of you peeped Rick making a cameo on Ugly Betty last year and he will be in the new Tyler Perry flick this year.

Their child is beautiful and it’s good to see that although Vanessa and Rick are divorced, they still come together for their child.

I’ve met Vanessa, not Rick, but she looks like neither to me too. Few people say that for fear of sounding mean. But it’s not negative. She just doesn’t have any of their features except the eyes, which have Rick’s color and Vanessa’s luminance. But to be fair, NONE of her kids resemble her IMO. They all look more like their fathers, esp. the oldest ones.

Vanessa was married once before to her then manager Ramon. She has 3 kids by him. Her youngest with her ex husband Rick is 10. I believe her son is 17, and her daughters are in their early 20s. You can Google it for confirmation. So 2 marriages, 3 kids, 2 dogs, one of which is missing (#FindEnzo).

Vanessa Williams will always be beautiful. As for Rick Fox, he’s looking a bit long in the tooth! Even though Vanessa is older than him… he looks like he has some years on her! And there’s a bit of slime to him to… very greasy-ish!
And a note for folks who think that popping a baby out with some light & curly person will generate such kid…. take a look at their daughter. She’s a regular 7 year old child. You never know who or what your child will look like…. we come in all colors of the rainbow!

And it makes me sick when people try to say that people like Rick and Vanessa aren’t black. We know they are mixed, but that’s a black family. Rick’s son is mixed but looks black. How does one explain Sasha? That is a black family, and like you said, we come in all shades.

I noticed that too. On Black Celeb Kids site, I only saw one photo of him grabbing the arm and thought maybe it was just a moment. But here in these two shots, little Sasha looks like she’s getting a talking to.
I just love Vanessa and Rick together and hate that it didn’t work out. But at least she chose some good involved fathers for her kids.

It is amazing how people expect celebrities to look like they do on tv, airbrushed and after 2 hours of makeup. Sasha looks like an innocent 7 year old child. she favors Vanessa and has the face shape and browner complexion of Rick. The child will grow into her own looks and that will be a combination of both parents or another relative on either side of the gene pool. It is so ignorant to claim that the she dsnt look too much like her Daddy therefore thru shade on who her father is!! Children’s faces go thru all stages until they finish puberty and move into adulthood. How do u know her hair is relaxed, it could be pressed & Flat ironed? What?? Vanessa Williams has always been vanilla pale or light golden. She has NEVER been Sasha’s shade of chocolate. And Sasha was lighter as a baby.
YouTube can prove this. There’s a video of Vanessa Williams winning Miss America 1984. There are videos dating back decades and photos. When was she brown? Never. Rick is half Italian, which can be dark and half black. So I believe she gets her color from his side. Also, I’m sure it depends on the season.
