Vanessa Williams and ex-husband Rick Fox were spotted in Los Angeles on Saturday with their 7 year-old daughter, Sasha. They were trying to sell those infamous Girl Scout Cookies and word is, the “Ugly Betty” star even sold a couple of boxes to the paparazzi. Now that’s straight hustling!
Vanessa and former NBA player Rick got divorced back in ’04. Rumor has it that is was because of some photos The National Enquirer published of Fox kissing another woman. Many other rumors ensued, but obviously they have moved passed that drama for the sake of their child.
I’m sure most of you peeped Rick making a cameo on Ugly Betty last year and he will be in the new Tyler Perry flick this year.
You know that girl is gonna sell all of her cookies lol. She’s cute tho.

@53 about vanessa having ‘good hair’, in all the years vanessa has be a celebrity Ive never seen her hair without a relaxer/straightener so to say she has ‘good hair’ is a bit of a misconception.
Their daughters hair is fine anyway, though I dont think little girls should wear relaxers so young but thats their parents business. Some kids dont look like either parent, some look like a grandparent so that could explain why their daughter doesnt look much like both of them. But I think she looks like a young Vanessa.

Vanessa seems to be a really good mom. I remember when she was on Oprah talking about her run in the Broadway production of Kiss of The Spiderwoman. They showed a video of her daily interaction with all her kids. She actually cooks breakfast every morning, does their hair , takes them too school and picks them up from the bus stop. Now these are things that most mothers do everyday, but you’d NEVER expect to see someone wealthy and famous do it. As the video played she began to cry. She said that they were her little “team” and no matter what she was doing in showbiz she had to be there this way everyday. Very sweet and good mothering.

Vanessa’s a good one, because when she and Rick first split she went on Howard Stern’s show and said he wanted to be a single man in LA and pursue an acting career. She didn’t want to split up, but he did, and she said she still loved him. And look at her now. She’s an award-winning actress and on one of the most popular shows on tv, and Rick had to come crawling back on his ashy lil knees and beg for a guest spot on it. I wonder if he’s tried to get back with her too…
He’s a good dad…but a FOOL for leaving Vanessa Williams. Now he’s dating some D list actress that’s much younger and nowhere as fine as Vanessa.
But I guess it’s better to leave her than to cheat on her. I hope they get back together now that he’s more mature. There’s something about their co-parenting and friendship that makes me feel they’d be so right together.

It’s great to see them doing what they’re supposed to as far as the parenting thing. As far as Sasha goes she may end up looking more and more like either of them later in life and as far as her complexion goes it may fluctuate due to what she’s eating and a host of other things. She started off light and got darker she’ll porobably end’ll getting lighter again as she gets older.
The same thing happened to me I started off like really light got darker and then when I hit about junior high started getting lighter and now I am as light as I was when I was a baby.
