Nelly is trying to go pop-crossover with this new song, “Party People,” with Fergie. The new single is produced by Polow Da Don, who also produced Fergie’s first solo single from her album, The Dutchess, “London Bridge.” His previous single, “Whadyaname,” didn’t do so well. I’m sure this will give him the push he needs for his forthcoming album, Brass Knuckles, in stores June 24th. A video was shot recently in Los Angeles.

The Game launches his new single, “Big Dreams,” from his forthcoming album. “Big Dreams” is produced by the production duo, Cool & Dre. The Game is out of jail and back in the studio, currently putting the finishing touches on his third studio album, L.A.X. Times, due out sometime in June. It is said that Game recorded the single just days after being released from jail. I wonder if there will be drama surrounding this album as well!

I was automatically afraid when the growling started and the barking. But I shouldn’t have been surprised, though. DMX actually thinks that he is dog. I will say, though, back in the ’90′s, I was a fan of Ruff Ryders and the production on this song sounds like something from those times. I’m not sure if I’m really digging the chorus of the song. I don’t think that it’s single material, it’s just not a catchy enough. But then again, that’s just not DMX’s style. If you remember, in a music news column, we announced DMX signed a new deal and is planning to release two albums this year.

I must admit, I am a little disappointed by this mix of “Stop This Car.” I really liked the original snippet that Michelle leaked for the song. I had kind of gotten attached to it, so I was interesting in hearing the full version of this track, but this mix of “Stop This Car” was a total let down for me. I’m hoping that this is just some mix that was thrown together as an idea but they still to the other track for the official release.
