Danity Kane – Make Me Sick (full) – listen
Here’s some unreleased bonus material from Danity Kane. Their new album, Welcome to the Dollhouse was released this Tuesday and was sold out everywhere in Atlanta, much like on their debut album. “Make Me Sick” would have fit in with the overall pop/dance feel of the album, but it’s completely understandable why the song was left off of the album. I love the production, but I feel like there’s something missing from the song. It doesn’t hit as hard as the other songs on the project.
Lloyd feat. Lil’ Wayne – Girls Around the World (full) – listen
This new Lloyd track has been floating around the internet. Him and Lil’ Wayne make a good team, I like when they collaborate together. The title of Lloyd’s new album is Lessons In Love, and it’s due out in June. I like “Girls Around the World” – it has an old school, ’90′s feel to it. I hope this album is as good of an effort as Street Love was. I was very impressed with that album, so hopefully, he gives me the same effort. From what I’ve heard, the new album is supposed to be very good.
One Chance feat. Yung Joc – U Can’t (Remix) (full) – listen
One Chance is supposed to release the club track “U Can’t” as a single, but I’ve yet to hear it on the radio at all. In any event, there is a remix now with Yung Joc. Maybe that will help get the song some radio play. As I’ve said before, I like these boys – I think they are great performers (from what I’ve seen live), and I think that some of their songs are great. I’ve loved a lot of material that I’ve heard on their album, Private – but I’m not too much digging this new song as their single. I would have much preferred “My Word.”
Kelly Rowland – Broken (full) – listen
Kelly is always going through it with men, ain’t she?! No, but seriously, all of her songs are about relationships that have gone wrong! “Broken” is a new track from Kelly Rowland’s rerelease of her sophomore album, Ms. Kelly, the Deluxe Diva edition. In all honesty, I am not impressed with the new songs on Kelly’s rerelease. I’m going to support her, anyways. I’m a Destiny’s Child fan, so I just feel the need to show Kelly some love. She’s trying.
I didn’t think Danity Kane would be able to top their first cd but WELCOME TO THE DOLLHOUSE kicks serious azz!!! I’M SO HAPPY FOR THEM and also for them writing 6 tracks on the cd!!! MAD LOVE!!!
I see GONZO is coming with the heat, that song is the POO-POO!!!!!

I went out and bougt Danity Kane’s new album on Tuesday and I haven’t taken it out since, it’s just that hot!! I have the exclusive edition from Target so “Make Me Sick” is on there and I agree with Brian, it doesn’t go hard like all the other songs.
I love Lloyd, I hope his next album is as good as Street Love was.
As for One Chance and Kelly R, NEXT!!!
That Lloyd record is the most unoriginal song I’ve heard in a LONG time… that ain’t nothing but “Don’t Look Any Further”/”Get Money”/that Tribe Called Quest song I can’t remember, sung over the same melody to “Dance With Me” by 112.
It took me 30 seconds to figure all that out. Y’all got to come better than that Motown…

I’m so sick and tired of waiting on One Chance to finally come out with their debut album…I mean now that Usher is getting ready to release his new project, I doubt that he will have time to do anything with them..they need a new label without an artist as their boss…but anywho I love their new song and they always play it out here in Chi-Town but maybe that’s because some of their members are from here…

Yeah It is on a bonus track on the target verison of the DK cd. It is the weakest song on the whole album.
I keep trying to give those DK girls a try but I just can’t get into them. They almost seem too pop. And I like pop…Fergie, Britney but they shit just seems manufactured and plastic.
The Lloyd and Weezy song is fire. I can’t wait for his shit to drop.

i actually like DK cd too. i agree this group is the best thing that happend to diddy since that 90′s. Lloyd really surprised me with his last record, i gave him a chance on accident and i was happy i did. Now as for Kelly, at this point im just hoping she gets dropped so maybe she can get with some people who will create hot material for her and back it with the right promotion, because Kelly doesnt have the spine to walk out the door herself. They just making her look stupid at this point, i never understood why they didnt just release the songs that are already on the record, those are hotter than these. Well, Danity Kane is certainly no En Vogue, not even a Destiny’s Child. I was trying to give them a chance, and maybe this is not the right song. But, this sounds random and amateurish like a group of high school chicks and her friends got together and made a song. They need to come a bit stronger and stand out more. Reality stars just don’t cut it for me aside from Fantasia, JHud and Carrie Underwood.

I have been anticipating the re-release of KELLY’s album for quite some time. In interviews she acknowledged the fact that there were too many mid-tempoed songs on the album. She said she wanted her songs to be heard in the club. She said that new tracks would be added and some old tracks would be subtracted. When I think RERELEASE I think of the same album with new tracks. This just seems to be more like a bonus disc that should have been included with the original. I’ve heard all of the songs (except the remixes) and honestly, I’m let down. They’re cute but they’re not hard hitting. Ballads can be hard hitting and so can fast tracks. They’re just lukewarm. On top of that, a fast track was not added. Leaks of Gotsa Go and Tell Me could be found on the internet and would have added some zing to the album but, of course, it didn’t happen. To climb even higher up this mountain of shame, you’ve got people holding off on her current album for the rerelease only to find that it’ll only be on the internet and just has some extra songs- nothing much from the old Ms. Kelly album. My expectations were too high and I was let down. .. now I’m “broken.” I look forward to the 3rd album. Hopefully there will be some changes. She’s got talent but she limits herself. Then again, she’s probably just happy doing music…not for the sales, but for the beauty of it. I wish the best!

any time an artist has so much material leaked for their upcoming CD, it shows that their management or label have no idea what will work for the artist and bottom line…just don’t know what they are doing. why would I buy an album if I have heard half of it already and only like a couple of songs?

I think DK’s new cd is WAY better than the first! I didn’t even buy the first, because I only liked 3 tracks-Now, ……Dollhouse is a banga! I actually bought it (Target version b/c of the exclusive track) because I loved every track and didn’t need to hit skip. A lot of songs are fun to work out to. My faves are Poetry, Lights Out, Bad Girl, and Damage.
Loved Street Love! This song is nice as well. I’ll probably buy his next effort.
I actually thought Kelly’s cd was good, especially compared to Simply Deep, in which she still owes me a refund. Ms. Kelly just didn’t get the right promotion, and they didn’t release the right tracks. I didn’t care for Ghetto when I first listened to the album and didn’t feel it was single worthy.
You gotta give old girl an A for effort. She is sitting give you fresh faced beauty in her video blogs.

I saw a bit of the episode of 106th and Park from yesterday with Danity Kane and I must say that they all looked great…their name sucks, though…But it was sooo funny how they obviously think Aubrey is the sexiest one and so they tried to hide the fact that she gets the most “body closeups” in the video…Everybody gets some, but hers are wayyyy different…the shot even slows a bit and curves with her body..it’s funny.. Remember when they said Diddy was doing her>?

I love DK but I am glad this song didnt make the version of the album that I have because its a nice song, but it doesnt fit well with the other songs on the album. BUT WITH ALL THAT SAID DK’s album is AMAZING.

I feel bad for Kelly as well. I used to work for DC back in 2000. She is a beautiful person. She always spoke (and still speaks) so highly of B and the Knowles clan.
Her first album was decent to me, but there were areas that were lacking. Not to mention no marketing support whatsoever. As far as this second album goes….To me, when something’s being “rereleased”, that ain’t good. However, I could be wrong.
I think B should be hookin her girl up with some producers. I don’t see how it could stop her shine one bit.
