Michelle Williams – Break the Dawn (snippet) – listen
The time is drawing close for Michelle to drop a new single. With the popularity of the snippet she leaked earlier, “Stop This Car,” new information has arisen. Michelle’s third album, which will be an R&B record, is called Unexpected and the new single is “Break the Dawn.” I like the track because it’s mellow but it has some power behind it too. I’m interested to see what the rest of this record is going to sound like. I’m sure a full version of “Break the Dawn” will surface within the coming weeks.

I thought we were done with “Feedback?” But anyways, here’s a new remix that the label has been sending out to everyone. It seems as though they’ve adapted the rap verse that Ciara did in the studio for the official remix. They also added Fabolous into the mix. I actually don’t prefer the way the song is arranged, as far as the verses.
Cassie – Thirsty (full) – listen
Here’s a new track that’s supposedly featured on Cassie’s forthcoming album, which was supposedly titled The Return, but reports say that the album is yet to be titled. “Thirsty” is a catchy track, just like everything else I’ve heard from Cassie. It seems as though they are using the same formula that they did on Cassie’s first album – tight, semi-flashy, immaculate production and breathy vocals. I guess so. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. But let’s just hope that she’s got that live performance game together.
Nina Sky – Secrets (full) – listen
Is Nina Sky making a comeback? I thought they were long overdue! This new song, “Secrets” is produced by Ryan Leslie, who is solely responsible for Cassie’s first record, as well as Cheri Dennis’s first single, “I Love You.” Although the song doesn’t impress me, there is something very catchy and hypnotic about it, which is true of a lot of Leslie’s production. I’m a bit lazy I didn’t listen to them because I hate opening up new windows.. But I hope they all sound good.
I like them all… Well i couldnt really get into michelle williams cause it was a snippet but its alright nothing fancy and cassie needs to stop and just model she cant not sing. And P.Diddy is the one who brought her out and he got the nerves to tell the making the band ppl they sound wack when they were recording what the hell he think she sound like it aint no singer………..

dont like the feedback remix they fucked it up!! ciara’s verse dont flow the way it does in the remix with just her and janet. busta’s voice sounds very none studio if you get what im saying just dont have that studio quality and dont seem to fit in well with the song. overall dont like the way it was put together.

first i love the new michelle song i could deffinetly hear this on the radio
second the new cassie is ok but this time around i expected a more mature cassie a more grown cassie. this sounds like it could have been from the first album.

They should’ve done a video for the remix for Feeback because the buzz around janet has fell off way too much since her album came out and she released the second video/single. I don’t know if there is any salvaging this one. Hopefully I’m wrong and she ends ’08 on top

I like Michelle’s R& B/Contemporary sound. When she had announced that she was going R & B this time I wondered how her voice would hold up. I’m amazed by some of the stuff she’s been puttin out. I think her album will do well commercially.

I couldn’t get past the first verse of Cassie’s song. I’m sorry. I am never one to hate, but Cassie is not a singer. I don’t understant how or why she has a record deal. She is a beautiful girl with many others talents, I’m sure, but singing is not one of them. Sorry.

Michelle Williams- I would have just settled for “Stop This Car”. Break The Dawn is alright but I do not think it will be single worthy. It just seems to be a song that we can say that it is just another song on the album but I cannot wait for the other records to be leaked!

ok, i just have to say Ms. Jackson’s music is not the way it use to be, my opinion is that she tryin to “keep” up with the generation now, i understand we could be her target market, but her music use to sound so good, for example “thats the way love goes” or doesn’t matter”, but no it doesn’t sound like Janet Jackson, it sounds like a wanna be, i love Janet but her music now…not too much
