Alicia Keys stars in “Fresh Takes,” a new micro-series by MTV and Dove, which follows the lives of three roommates in their mid-twenties living in New York City. The episodes air weekly during “The Hills” starting March 24th.

Vivica A. Fox is joining the ever growing world of reality based series with a new competition show that searches for the next great celebrity stylist.
“Glam God With Vivica A. Fox,” due to premiere this summer, will feature contestants vying to become a stylist to the stars through their talents in three key elements of fashion – hair, make-up and wardrobe.
Each week the hopefuls will compete in various challenges designed to test their knowledge of fashion and style trends as they create the perfect look from head to toe. Those who fall short will have their style license revoked and be sent packing. The lone remaining stylist will win a chance to style an A-list celebrity and receive $100,000.
“Vivica is a movie star and a fashion icon who knows how to step onto the red carpet and nail it every single time,” said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Production, VH1. “Her instincts are impeccable and she knows how critical it is to have a ‘glam god’ she can trust to create a star-making killer look. We are thrilled that we have her vision and insights to drive this show.”

Author Staci Robinson is suing The CW, its owners and some producers for $40 million for allegedly stealing the concept of her unpublished novel to create the sitcom “The Game,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The writer claims that in 2001, she had interviewed for a job as a writers assistant at Kelsey Grammer’s Gramnet Prods. when she gave a manuscript of her novel, Interceptions, to “Game” executive producer Mara Brock Akil. The suit, filed Sept. 14, alleges that the series copies her premise and the characters in the book.
She names the CW and its owners, CBS and Warner Bros., Akil and Gramnet as defendants. Besides the hefty monetary damages, Robinson is seeking a temporary restraining order to keep the network from premiering the show on Sunday, Oct. 1.
Both the written and filmed versions center on a woman who is devoted to an NFL player, but wants to pursue her professional schooling.

It has nothing to do with her not being able to act, it’s the fact that shes really hood and these characters they have her play in movies like the nannie diaries and what not would be more suited for soembody like beyonce or brandy. Alicia is very ghetto and it’s funny watchig her try to stifle that for these roles they put her in, having her try and speak in correct english instead of that jersey slang makes her sound artificial.
