Sen. Hillary Clinton was forced to retract a claim that she landed under sniper fire during a trip to Bosnia in 1996.
In a speech earlier this month at George Washington University, Clinton said:
“I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base.”
Comedian Sinbad, who traveled with singer Sheryl Crow and the First Lady to Bosnia, debunked the claim with the Washington Post following Clinton’s red-phone ad. According to Sinbad, “the only ‘red-phone’ moment was: ‘Do we eat here or at the next place?’”
The CBS video (above) emerged contradicting her account and shows Clinton and daughter Chelsea smiling and waving as they walked across the tarmac, stopping to shake hands with Bosnia’s acting president and listen to an 8-year-old girl read a poem.

After hearing of this news this morning, I can no longer support Hillary Clinton in this election. I was a strong supporter from the beginning, but several events in these last few weeks really made me begin losing respect for her. This blatant lie just takes the cake. I cannot believe she would stand in front of the media and the American people and tell such a lie. Imagine would she would easily lie about if she were elected.
I want to throw my support behind Obama, but I feel like he doesn’t have a strong foreign policy either. I think that when he gets the nomination (which now, I’m almost 100% sure he will) he will have a hard time debating against John McCain. Obama makes excellent speeches and does a great job in inspiring the minds of the American people, but when it comes down to it he does not have experience and for this reason he would not do well in the race against McCain.
I just don’t know what to do, because I feel like we have 3 main contenders for the presidency but none of them in my opinion are excellent or even great candidates. I just wish someone like Al Gore will come out of the wood works and begin campaigning for the Democratic nomination, but that’s probably not possible.
I don’t know what to think… But I would much rather take a chance and trust Obama than vote for John McCain.
Yes, this is seriou as far as the Clintons are concerned it shows they have not changed their ways, Bill blatantly lied and we forgive and he still has the audacity to put his wife up to running so he can get back into the white house.Their marriage is a lie not based on love but politically motivated and a marriagfe of convenience. I watch more than others and I have watched how the other candidates and their wives interact you rarely see Bill and Hellary together and very rarely any show of afffection, its like they are brother and sister.

I was listening to the Tom Joiner Morning Show today and a lady called in and pointed out how during the time of the Monica Lewinsky drama while Bill and Hillary were in the White House, it was a black pastor/minister (Rev.
