Just wanted to say I think it’s great how they released a second single on the heels of her album release. More labels/artist should do this to keep the buzz and steam rolling with the album sales instead of WAITING 15 YEARS to release another single WHEN NOBODY GIVES A DAMN ABOUT THE ALBUM ANYMORE…

Sooo Much more could have been done with this video. It would have been nice if they did a real club scene with a throw back to the 70′s (Studio 54) then she goes to another room to like a 80′s club and so on. It was just boring for her to go into one room then to another room that looked like the other one. Don’t get me wrong , I like the song but just the video left nothing to be desired. Sucks cause she is worth so much more than that.

I kinda like the song, but um the video didn’t do it for me. Not to be judgmental, but it was to DARK in some spots. Why do artists feel the need to show darkness so much? We can’t see nothing. But either way, I like Janet regardless. I want to look like her when I’m her age. makes no sense she putting us youngins to shame with her bad self

I am kind of with you, I wasn’t nuts about the song, but it’s been growing on me ever since I bought a copy of Discipline, but this video just brought the song to life and made me love it. People need to realize that Janet is putting stuff out that is different and hot. Feedback was a crazy video and nothing was out like it and Rock With U looks simple (well it is) but it is very creative. The same director did both, and I think he is like a french director or something like that. Janet, I love it and please please please make a video for “LUV.”
I really like it. The song reminds me of Madonna’s Hung Up and Dirty Vegas’s hit Days Go By. The look was nice and the dancing was smooth. It’s a surefire hit on the dance charts and overseas.
And for all you wondering…her album is very good. Starts off banging with the first few cuts, then slows down a bit then fires back up. Show your support!

To her credit, Janet has a very diverse audience. She’s established in the R&B world as well as the pop and dance world. This song and video is more for her dance audience. The gays will love this song and video just like they loved “All nite don’t stop” and “together again” (which was also big with her pop fans).

Miss janet is very smart this time around. She has been able to add images that will aide her singles very well. Think about janet wants to sell. Cd are not selling in the us. So to get your cd to sell you go international. the european market is hot and her vidoes caters to that demographic. Isnt Rock With U a remake of Michael’s Rock Wit U? Cause if it is, she definatly shouldnt have chosen it as a single. Alot times remakes dont do well as singles, especially if its a classic.
