A new Cassie single entitled “Official Girl” has surfaced. It’s produced by none other than Danjahandz and penned by our good friends from The Clutch. I’m almost sure that this is the first single from Cassie from the yet-to-be-titled sophomore album. But with big statements and hype from Diddy, I am hoping that she’ll put out some great product. “Official Girl” doesn’t find Cassie in a stellar vocal position, but I think that this time around, Cassie is trying to get her vote for most improved.
So, what do you think? Will this be Cassie’s comeback song? Is the song hot or is it just not?

this song is a grower. after hearing it the third time around, i got it. it’s a mellow track and i likes. cassie is no vocalist (as with janet, ciara, rihanna, etc), but she did improve.

You can put the hottest producers and writers in North America on her project, she will always be limited because she’s over her head. She has talent, but she’s a puppet that needs to be told WHAT to sing and HOW to sing it. It’s so obvious. This song is aight. But tha last post “Thirsty” is more much better in my opinion.
Jus listened to it and I like it, not alot but enough to listen to it. It could have been stepped up a couple of notches with more stronger vocal rips. But its so simple. Maybe a stronger rap verse would have braught it out a bit. Its cute but very safe. ;/

I kinda like the track….it’s catchy but not overpowering. Anybody that pays attention to the way music sounds should know, this track may not be the strongest but has the same digital sounds as Usher,Ne-Yo,Madonna, and Janet. Cut the girl a damn break…damn…

The song has a great vibe, very different, has potential, the concept aight…
But I don’t think she’s singin on beat, but maybe the lyrics are so wack I’m just wiggin out…the “i’m tired, i’m tired” doesn’t match up in time, I think…
If it were a stronger singer, maybe, sung in a soft, voice as hers the weak lyrics could be over looked…But shes not strong enough in this cut.
