Karina Pasian Killed this song! Cassie should have never came near it. You gotta put her on Concrete Loop so that people can hear how the song was supposed to sound! These producers be letting their songs go to 10’s of people at a time. Same thing happened with Chilli from TLC getting the sample first (Straight Jack) then Nicole Scherzinger using the sample in “Tell Me What You Like”…Main point is that Cassie sounds like she is doing a cover of Karina Pasian’s song “Official Girl”

This song isn’t working for me and i’m one of the few who actually likes some of Cassie’s music, enough to download a FEW songs. “Official Girl” is horrible in comparison to “Me and U”, and “Long Way 2 Go”. I was really hoping she would come with something better, or at least with the right equipment hooked up to her voice to make her sound good….oh well. This has nothing to do with it not being Brandy or Beyonce. This song isn’t as good as any of her songs on her first album. She had a lot of good songs on that album, beat wise, and the lyrics weren’t half bad. Danja gave her a throw away track. Compare the songs he produced for Britney’s last album next to this song and you will see that this track doesn’t stand up to any of them beat wise. They probably overpaid for this track cause it was Danja. Sorry but this song is kinda boring. She needs another track as strong as Me & U, now that was a hot track. I think people are hard on her because she sucked so bad performing live and it didn’t seem like she cared enough to make it a hot performance. If you lip synch at least have a great dance number. There are tons of artists that lack vocals but still bring a great performance.
