The long awaited track from Mariah Carey’s 11th studio album, E=MC² has finally leaked. Chicago’s B96 had the exclusive premiere of the song, and of course now it has found it’s way to the world wide web. “Migrate” is produced by Danjahandz, but T-Pain lends his vocals on a portion of the song. And Mariah’s delivery is aided by the vocoder effect. “Migrate,” however, is not slated to be released as the follow-up single to her current #1, “Touch My Body.”
I love and hate “Migrate” all at the same time. It is very radio friendly and I think would be great for Mariah to put out as a single, but something about it just leaves me cold. I think I still have the bad taste of that live performance from Saturday Night Live in my mouth. The new album will hit shelves April 15th.

I think she catering to the young people on this album. That’s actually a good move. Think about younguns if like it will buy five albums just because they like her. I do like 90′s Mariah better, but she still my girl. THE SONG’S BEAT IS ON FIYAH!!!! IT’S A NICE CLUB SONG!
This song is kinda catchy. Definately sounds like that radio music that they force on you. I think Mariah is stuck in a time warp. She should be making more mature music imo…

Love the song. Why should she be singing “age appropriate” topics. This song is about going to the clubs and is relevant to today’s music. I can definately see everyone running to the dance floor on this one.

It’s wild that MC gets sexier with age. Her voice use to be all power, and now she’s sexier, with nothing to proove. The Clubs gonna rock this….Sexy, Sleek, and Mad appealing, this is a good cut…..Better than Touch My Body, and more chill than Bye Bye. This is a hit.

Wack! She;s kinda talking the whole way through. And who is “Ray-Ray or “Shay Shay”? I coulda sworn I heard that in the song. This song is disappointing for Mariah. She really can sing and she chooses to downgrade her voice for some gimmick-ey sound. Boo. This song woulda been more suited for a non singer that needs something catchy to make them relevant. @Elle no i think it’s the straining. i always preferred whitney b/c when whitney hit those higher notes (i don’t mean whistle register, i mean the loud belting notes), it was like water. completely fluid, natural, like she wasn’t even struggling that much. mariah’s a good singer but you could always tell that she worked to get those notes out (nothing wrong with that though b/c i work to get them out and they never come lol). same w/her whistle register notes. i think her voice suffered b/c of those things
