Kim burell is a good comparison….she has a Lauryn Hill vibe but her voice isn’t like Lauryn’s at all….very talented and strong vocals….especially for 20…and to hear she’s been in the industry for a minute is really inspiring….she’ll be very sucessful because she does stand out in comparison to other female artist out right now

You definitely hit it on the spot. I actually thought of Kim Burrell before I thought of Lauryn Hill. I can see where people say Lauryn Hill though, but she sounds very much like Kim Burrell. Some people on this thread are so mean. I don’t think she’s trying to mimic or replace Lauryn Hill. She may be inspired by the same artists Lauryn were because Lauryn didn’t originate her sound either. Jazmin has a great voice and is what the industry needs at the moment. Im a hugh Jazmine Sullivan Fan….and definately fell in love with this song as soon as I heard it….But I am very worried… I hope J. records pushes her album… I find it odd, that she isn’t listed anywhere on the j. records website for general information nor does she have a official artist website of her own. Her main myspace page has little to no information, not even her music posted. Not to mention she doesn’t even have a release date public. Yet they have thrown her single to radio with little to no promotion…I hope this great song and artist don’t get over looked because of poor/slow promotion by the record company.
