I doubt if she is retiring. I think this is a publicity stunt like her husband did so that everyone would buy his album cause they thought there would be no more of him. Next thing you know he was rapping on everyone’s track and said the game wanted him back so much, yet from the reviews I read about Kingdom Come it wasn’t as great as people expected. She’s doing the same so that everyone will buy her international pop album. I think the international pop phase won’t last very long cause it’s a stream of pop that’s been out for years. Eventually R&B is gonna make itself ahead of the game again especially with Brandy and Monica coming back. If Beyonce takes a break I honestly don’t think she can come back in an R&B stage. She’s a pop artist and R&B is much deeper meaning that requires less dancing. Beyonce can’t do that cause she more so an entertainer than an in depth vocalist.

Also I don’t see how people compare her to Ciara, Ashanti, Rihanna, etc. Though I may not be a fan of all of them, they have been in the game for a shorter time than Beyonce and they started as ground soloist. Beyonce started out in a group like Diana Ross. Both artists wouldn’t have gotten shine without their successful groups first. Then they ventured off into becoming solo artists after selling millions of albums in their groups. If Beyonce started as a solo artist from the start then I would compare her to the other ladies. It’s not fair that you down other solo artists and say they are not as good because they have been in the game much less than 10 years and started by themselves.

The only times when pure R&B was selling was during the Motown days and maybe the 90’s. And even during those times pop sold more. So I think she would be able to survive if either one of them made a comeback. Beyonce can give you good vocal performace if she tried.

I truly respect ya opinion. You are right about R&B being at its greatest moments during Motown years and in the early 90s which is why it is so memorable. I think it does have a chance of coming back mainstream again and though pop was always there it is at its highest moment right now and most musicians are making the transfer at this point because of it. I doubt Beyonce can sing circles around Monica maybe Brandy because she has a lighter toned voice. I didn’t say Beyonce wouldn’t survive if only they came back. I was talking about if R&B became the limelight once again like it did in the early 90’s and motown days then it she would have a hard time because she don’t sing songs with depth and I think many people would agree that if she didn’t dance around the stage then she would be kinda boring. Honestly, as much as people seem to hate Beyonce she is really not that bad of a performer, actress, designer, and a singer…I just think people cannot stand her because she is so successful(success always brings envy…and her success is huge..a lot of people thought that she would not make it this far..I think God has truly blessed her and she has remained humble and thankful and that is the reason He continues to bless her)(despite the rumors much to my dismay..because people cannot think for themselves she has proven herself as an artist)….I really honestly think that Beyonce is sick of being an artist (all the drama and hate can make anyone irritable)…I mean think about it….every time she comes out she dominates…She said in an interview that she cannot understand her success sometimes and she said at the rate she is going she will be able to retire early…Beyonce does not even have to try anymore….She rushed and recorded B’Day in two weeks and it sounded decent..It was no dangerously in love but it was still a good CD..Beyonce has so much creativity and talent that she does not even have to try compared to these other artist (she honestly has not consistent competition to keep her motivated…it is like BEYONCE and that is it…)…I also believe that Beyonce works very hard… She is not afraid to be open minded and take risks and be who she is….man talk about the AMERICAN DREAM….Beyonce is the epitome of hard work, determination, perseverance, consistency, and dedication…People are happy for now that she is leaving but I bet in a few years people are going to begin to appreciate her and understand her long list of contributions to music…This young woman has truly changed music…Not only by being a female that is dominating for once but she has overcome and disproved a lot of DOUBLE STANDARDS in society…Women in America should praise a woman like her instead of hating and being jealous of her….If you do not like her music that is fine but at least appreciate her talent…(you actually have to get pass the hype about her beauty and her booty and truly see that she not only has talent but has taken criticism and used it to grow as a person….She said in her interview on Celebrity Expose that she welcomed criticism and took that as motivation to make her music more innovative and used it as a way to grow and evolve….Take your break Beyonce it is well deserved….And for the record I think she is under-exposed compared to a lot of other celebrities….. (Britney Spears…Jennifer Aniston..Angelina Jolie….More Exposure to minority entertainers please…..)

Hey I am looking forward to that Bill Cosby album, maybe he will raise the standard for some of these other rappers. I am huge fan of rap music but I am becoming very disappointed with some of the messages that are being promoted, especially because I am of the younger generation and the messages are aimed towards us….Rappers need to truthfully raise the bar on their music…this degrading faze is played out…I think an album such as Bill’s will raise self esteem and promote a better agenda for the younger generation. I am looking forward to it. People seem to attack Bill for his vision because it goes against the opinions of many but honestly we have to be willing to change this overly sexualized, materialized, separatist, and violent culture that we live in. he youth has been corrupted not only by the society that we live in but the youth is being exploited by the older generation…This hatred did not just appear out of thin air..it adapted and evolved with each passing generation…The youth is in serious need of guidance…. People are so quick to blame the rappers but it is also the parents responsibility to be a more effective and positive force in their children’s life….People are so quick to make excuses towards the media and music but in general we live in a very pessimistic society….We as people need to have a more positive outlook on change and social reform. Bill Cosby not only complained and talked about the reoccurring issues at hand but he now willing to take the next step and be active and take action to make his dream a reality. Lets not focus so much on how he is going about this but rather congratulate him for being one of the first to take action. Like the saying goes..If you do not have anything nice to say then simply do not say anything at all….Keep up the good work Bill. (The next time you decide to complain about Mariah, or Beyonce, or Bill…Just think about how imperfect you are and remember that they are human too…) (At least they try to be constructive instead of being a complainer all the time….)

If you are going to post a Beyonce song then you need to post the entire song…You are being a little biased “nineasiansarebaldformylacefrontwig”…The first song is called t-shirt which was an album filler on destiny fufilled….which was never released…..The other song is called speechless which is off the album dangerously in love….Speechless is a song about love as I see you were trying to get your point across but you did not post the whole song which is more about being in love and has a more passionate feel..post the first verse…..to be fair….The song will send a totally different message then….Her first album was very mature and more about love….And some artist have a huge fan base you cannot expect all of Mariah’s or Beyonce’s or Justin’s music to be teenagers…some music is aimed for the older generation (fan base) that they have….
