Meet Kameron Corvet. This Louisiana and Ohio native is currently creating a growing buzz down in Atlanta. His music was forwarded to us after a visitor saw him live at a recent showcase and was blown away.
Corvet, who says he “benefited from a heavy musical background in which the majority of his family members played and instrument, sung or did both,” was recently featured on the soundtrack for BET’s independent film Blackout. His musical influences? Prince, Jim Morrison, Led Zepplin, James Brown, D’Angelo, Jimi Hendrix and more. Make sure you give him a listen and look out for him in the future.

i didn’t like the “huff nd puff…blow the house down” lyric (seemed a little cheesy to me) but aside from that, it’s nice. not my thing but i still think he’s talented

This is so me. I love this….its a little more bluesy then Maxwell I think. The only comparision is the falsetto but otherwise it different. I would say refreshing…Nice to see someone not following the grain.

Nice record. Feels good..its definately Maxwell-ish. A breath of fresh air from the cookie cutter acts that are flooding the radio these days. I wish him much success…wait a minute… with ALL these cookie cutter acts on the radio, you would figure the stations would have more than the same 14 song rotation!! (came out of left field with that one) But i digress…
I really liked it. I would love to hear him live. I think he has a specific audience as to were he can have a strong underground following however I don’t see him being mainstream. But I will support him!

Kameron has a really nice voice and the music is relaxing. Very Sunday drive music. I’ve heard similar artists and similar songs but he’s talented and I would be interested in hearing more from him.

It is always an enjoyable musical experience when the artist is confident in their talent, and are allowed to make the music that they love. Unfortunately, a lot of great talent is commercialized and exploited by record companies, preventing the public from enjoying honest, authentic music. This song had a groove that I just could not get enough of, this is definitely the kind of music that I can respect and purchase with a straight face.
