Lol @ Star losing weight and droppin boo! j/k

It’s not just married people or celebs, but couples in general seem to be splitting up left and right in the black community. I don’t know what it is. But it’s very strange…almost like some type of curse or something. I’ve counseled 3 people this week regarding their relationships. And what’s even more ironic is both male and females alike, say the same exact thing, “I can’t find a good man/woman”. Something isn’t adding up.

And why do couples seem to split so fast right after they have a kid?

I KNOW she is not trying to blame the media for any bit of the dissolution of her marriage. Let’s recount:
1. You married one of the kids! You knew full good and well what Gal was up to!
2. You had a CORPORATE sponsored wedding and constantly, even when no one cared, talked about your impending nuptials on The View.
You craved the attention honey. The difference is that you’ve taken the blinders off and finally come to terms with what we all, including you, knew from the very start. We understand Star…honey, you just wanted a man. And I guess you figured just any man would do! Did you not learn anything from the Terry McMillian scandal? And where were your girls Vivica and Lisa Raye because somehow those two don’t come across as women who don’t offer up opinions. I guess they just wanted you to be happy, if even for just a little while.

Does anyone stay together anymore?

Finally, Star has decided to stop pretending. She needs to call Terri McMillan and they need to have a Waiting to Exhale night!

She is blaming the media for what? Chic, we all know that it’s because the man is gay! The media had nothing to do with it. Unattractive women do that all the time. They are flattered to be courted by an attractive man and they fail to open their eyes to the obvious facts such as the fact that he is gay, a gold digger or has an alcoholism problem. they are just too flattered that such a man would be interested in them.

And she has some nerve to blame the media. Didn’t she get her whole wedding for free because she invited the media in and got all these “sponsors” to pay for every detail of the wedding?

Star and Al I saw this coming years ago. Star put her business out there soaking up the media attention.

Al left star as soon as she lost that other show… After she was fired from the view, people were saying he’d left her because his main objective in being with her was FAME (he’s a Queen and being with a celebrity is like being chosen to sing on stage with Tina Turner every day of your life). Well, people were saying she was staying with friends (Samuel L. Jackson’s wife, included) but they obviously worked that out… and ppl said he went back then because she was getting another gig…well, he’s gone now…and I believe it’s because she lost her new job and obviously has no future in tv.

@39 the only male stars cheat more than regular guys because they have more women throwning temselves at them just because of their money (i.e. Jay-Z, JD, Diddy,Nelly, and 50 Cents y’all know I’m telling the truth.) It’s all about self-control. Fame doesn’t have anything to do with it.

Oh boy like I will tell my husband in the future that if he get married to me he better make sure he’s fa real becuz once we married we will never get a divorce maybe separate but not divorced…till death do us part he gonna have to kill me first, LOL I won’t tell him that part cuz he may get some ideas. People need to take marriage seriously it’s a shame ppl take it lightly these days.

I’m sorry to hear that about Swizz Beats & his wife, I thought they made such a cute couple…and if that baby dont look JUST like him in that pic….

Jay Z and Beyonce are about as private as that ugly white couple from “The Hills” who parade around Hollywood blasting her crappy songs… If you look at their vacation pics (which are most of their candids…do you think it’s an accident that they are seemingly easier to catch doing these lavish, extraordinary things?) you’d see they’ve obviously dressed for the cameras… Do you need to get up and comb a huge wig, apply makeup, and a silk romper to sit in the middle of the Ocean on a yacht with your man? lol I think bikinis are the usual attire…
They don’t say certain things about themselves because it keeps us watching, honestly…I think they know they were such an oddly matched couple that we’d all be entranced, watching them every chance we got… It was to increase their popularity, then…it was to draw MORE intention, instead of the opposite…
And, they’ll stay together like the Beckhams because together they are like a brand. Because who would call them a perfect couple after the 10 song rant on “B Day,” in which she not only said he looked a mess before she got with him, but wasn’t good in bed?

Also Star Jones and her husband I knew that relationship wasn’t gonna last so I’m not suprised especially after she started using surgery to morph herself into an alien.

Unfortunately nowadays, instead of “till death do us part” it’s just “good while the sh*t lasts”…. so sad but true! But let’s keep it funky… we all knew that Star jones and Al weren’t going to make it for all the obvious reasons. It didn’t take a call to Ms. Cleo (the psychic) to figure that one out. I guess people just gotta live and make their own mistakes…

My theory (and I’m not saying this applies to Swizz and his wife) but I think some couple’s whose marriage is on the rock have a child hoping that the baby will tie them together forever and force them to work out their marriage. I’ve seen it so many times in real life situations. Never a good idea really because most of the time the child ends up being losing out the most (usually).

i could never get with these celebs…i know a lot of stories like that of celebs trying to holler at females right infront of their baby momma/wife and their girl just stands there like it never happened…i dont think it matters what race u are (someone said some people only holler at white girls) but its just the fact that they are men…i mean, some rappers are cool though as long as their baby momma and them isnt together then i’ll talk a lil longer to them but i dont think i’d actually try and fuck any of them cuz i heard too many stories about how certain women will do anything to try and get those celebs attention and its a turn off cuz an std aint worth it…i really liked seeing swizz beatz and his wife and their beautiful child…but unfortunately i doubt many marriages can work out cuz the field he works in

Don’t think “back in the day” it was much better, there were less divorces cos people were stuck together for economic reasons, most marriages were arranged, and you had to stay even with domestic violence. Now folks can leave unhealthy relationships.

Not surprised at all about the divorce however, a local news station in Miami has reported recently that newly seperated basketball star Dwyane Wade has been spotted leaving several basketball games with Star Jones. They are speculating that the 2 may be dating. But I was a lil skeptical on that when I first heard it and now the divorce announcement just makes it more suspicious.
