Say What? Star Jones has filed for divorce from her husband of three-and-a-half years, Al Reynolds, Entertainment Tonight reports.
She filed March 26 in New York Supreme Court in Manhattan, according to ET.
“Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone’s life that requires privacy with one’s thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman.” [source]

And another couple is rumored to be divorcing too… After four years of marriage, R&B singer Mashonda has split from her producer husband Swizz Beatz. A representative for Swizz Beatz didn’t specify the reason for the separation, but stated the split was “on amicable terms”.

Don’t think “back in the day” it was much better, there were less divorces cos people were stuck together for economic reasons, most marriages were arranged, and you had to stay even with domestic violence. Now folks can leave unhealthy relationships.

Not surprised at all about the divorce however, a local news station in Miami has reported recently that newly seperated basketball star Dwyane Wade has been spotted leaving several basketball games with Star Jones. This is very NOT surprising to me about Star…I knew this was coming one day. She didn’t love him. She was just happy she could be 300 pounds overweight and get a man, plus marry him.
