Anyways, Mariah looks great. I saw the Movie over the weekend at the Tribeca Film Festival, and Mariah’s acting was pretty good, better than Beyonce and Alicia Keys. She played a character thats sooooo the opposite of her with such belief and conviction. She did better than she did in WisGirls, and I thought her acting in that movie was amazing compared to Glitter(even though her acting in Glitter was not that bad, it was just a bad screenplay).
As for Da Brat, people who are not familar with Mariah (the ‘real’ Mariah, not the DIVA she’s portrayed in the media) would know that Mariah and Da Brat have been friends since like 1994. Mariah met Da Brat at a time when her life was being controled a lot by her Husband. Da Brat was like the complete opposite of Mariah which is what made them so close. Da Brat talked about visiting her mansion for the first time with JD and how she was in amazement, and Mariah talked about how open and free Da Brat was and wanted that for herself. Mariah and Da Brat’s friendship is so much deeper thatn yall ingorant fools can understand. Since being friends with Da Brat Mariah has dated Derek Jeter, Luis Miguel, Eminem, and Mark Suddack (whose she currently dating, this Nick Cannon thing is a dumb azz rumor started because they worked together on her upcoming video Bye Bye).

#90 – yes Mariah’s vocals aren’t as strong as in the 90s because she has nodules (little lumps) on her vocal cords. The only way to get rid of them is via surgery and it is so risky. Julie Andrews lost her singing voice after getting surgery on her vocal cords. Mariah is trying to take care of her vocal cords thru her doctor’s advice of Vocal Rest, lots of fluids, humidifiers and staying out of smoke free places. Although she had the nodules on her vocal cords since childhood, her condition has worstened a bit.
I heard her live several times between 2005-2006 in concert and she sounded fabulous, not hoarse. Lately with all the promos she’s doing, she gets no vocal rest hence the hoarse voice during recent live performances.
