♫ HOT OR NOT: TEAIRRA MARI’S NEW SONG ♫
Remember the former Princess of Roc-A-Fella Records? Well, Teairra Mari splashed on the scene around the same time as Little Miss Sunshine, Rihanna. Looks like we see who won Jay-Z’s heart in that race. Since 2005, Rihanna has released 3 albums, while Teairra was dropped from her deal at Roc-A-Fella and Def Jam. Newly signed to a deal at Interscope Records after a 3 year hiatus, Teairra is back with her single, “No, No, No.” Although the song isn’t anything new and spectacular, I can definitely see it’s appeal. I think it could be cool for radio.

yea i though teairra would last longer than riri just b/c riri had an average voice and very average looking when she first came out. teairra is an extremely pretty girl with a good voice but they gave her material that wasn’t going to sell. riri was lucky enough to get the whole dancehall sound which ppl love and now that’s she’s changed her image w/that new stylist she’s solidified her position for at least 2 more yrs. i’m rooting for teairra b/c riri proves that with the right marketing and the right push (oh yeah and tons of near-nakedness), anyone can make it

rihanna sold more records on her first album than teairra mari, she left the label cause she wanted to be grown. she may have a better voice but many other singers have better voices than teairra mari and they still in the slump.
and the whole leather thing is played out, so she needs a new look cause she sounds and looks like ashanti.

4) when pon de replay was burnin up the charts jayz jumped on rihanna’s bandwagon and promoted her from then on.
therefore, RIHANNA WORKED HARD FUH HER PROMOTION, she didnt get it easy like teairra mari when they came out together.
btw, teairra mari is AVERAGE LOOKIN, if nivea cannot make it with the same voice and sound and look, who say ms mari would?
@GreatestLoveOfAll but didn’t the roc give her those tracks that had profanity in them? that’s what i’m saying. they didn’t market her properly at all. she wouldn’t be singing profanity if it wasn’t in the song and as any new artist does, she sang whatever she was told to sing. when new artists come out, they don’t have much say in what direction they want to go. and even if she uses profanity, riri is only 19 yet has already spread her legs open on stage while wearing a bathing suit. she acts way too grown for her age anyway. you’re just being biased right now
