Earlier this week, the couple took out a marriage license in Scarsdale, N.Y. and according to a People.com witness they were all smiles. I just received an email from The E-Biz and they claim to have info on the event, which is rumored to be taking place today (April 4th)..

I agree, there is no time limit on getting to know if that person is really the one or not. There are some people who have know each other for 6 months and it lasted til death. There are some whom knew each other since grade school and marrried and it lasted til death. Some marry the same person more than once and still can’t get it right.It always depends on much you love that person and if you are willing to be unselfish and accept mistakes and moving on from there. I always believe the signs are always there if you look closely with open eyes and not just your heart. Unlike what most people think Love is not blind and it shouldn’t hurt(not say that you won’t have to go through obsticles). But love cover a multitude of sin and we all are sinful. What may hurt one person may not bother the next. It depends on the individual. Thats where understanding takes its place as well as empathy.
I wish them the best and I hope that will be happy. To be in the public eyes all the time and people hoping that you won’t last will be very trying for them. I don’t mess with marriages cause acknowledge it or not is is God’s way in the end.

#24, I agree somewhat with your first statement, but hopefully people will get to really know someone deeply before they get married. Usually the first stages of a relationship are the romance stages where you are so into that person that you really can’t see “them” clearly. Everyone can put on a front for the first several months of a relationship (called the honeymoon stage). People get caught up, so to speak, but as that fades, you begin to see the person’s faults in a clearer light. Relationships go through various stages. I’ve known people that met and married weeks later, but it awfully risky. I’m just saying.
