I have my feelings about the overexposure that they got going on(hopefully they’ll take a break after this!), but I really have to say I am proud of a couple that stays together long enough to make the serious decision to get married, does it the right way, and then hopefully have a child. People saying they were together too long, take a look and see that half the people in this country are getting divorced. It makes me happy seeing young, black people tying the knot. Since these two are so influential, I hope this inspires more black couples to get married. Most studies show that married people are happier, healthier, more profitable and live longer. Making it official with your life partner is one of the keys to a truly good life, and that’s what I want for my people.

I also hope this means Jay and Bey are going to start acting more like a couple, rather than step-siblings, while in piblic. Just kidding! They’re doing geat just being themselves…it’s brought them this far.
