Various reports have confirmed that Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter and Beyonce Knowles did in fact get married on Friday, April 4th after 6 years of dating. The private ceremony went down at an undisclosed location in NYC and was followed by a reception at Jay’s Tribeca apartment complex.
Rumored Celebrity Guest included: Solange, Kelly and Michelle (of course), Kanye West, Gwenyth Paltrow and hubby Chris Martin and more. (Make sure to check some of the celebrity arrivals after the cut).
As many of you know, Jay & Bee hold the number 4 very close to their hearts. Remember that post we made about the tats they got late last year with the number 4 on their ring fingers? FYI: Jay-Z was born on December 4th, Beyonce was born on September 4th and they got married on April 4th 2008. Check out Miss Iinfo’s blog for more on that theory.

Well if they got married then I say congradulations and may they have 70 more years together. I also love the way they put their wedding date on their ring fingers and no one even knew it was actually their special day. I really hope that they stay together for ever because they deserve it. This is one couple who actually took the time to really get to know and respect each other and not rush into a marriage and they kept all their business between them, I love that.
