Various reports have confirmed that Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter and Beyonce Knowles did in fact get married on Friday, April 4th after 6 years of dating. The private ceremony went down at an undisclosed location in NYC and was followed by a reception at Jay’s Tribeca apartment complex.
Rumored Celebrity Guest included: Solange, Kelly and Michelle (of course), Kanye West, Gwenyth Paltrow and hubby Chris Martin and more. (Make sure to check some of the celebrity arrivals after the cut).
As many of you know, Jay & Bee hold the number 4 very close to their hearts. Remember that post we made about the tats they got late last year with the number 4 on their ring fingers? FYI: Jay-Z was born on December 4th, Beyonce was born on September 4th and they got married on April 4th 2008. Check out Miss Iinfo’s blog for more on that theory.

We will see the picturesof this wedding because this is one of the few couples that the papparazi can catch on deserted island only the rich and famous can afford to go to. Whoever took the pics at this wedding is one lucky photograper because I am sure offers are coming left and right. Then I’m sure the Carters had everyone sign a confidentiality form or something. Congrats to them. They always look great together and very happy. I hope it last forever and they have a whole lot of babies. I think they leak there stuff to the press. Pictures will surface soon! I so agree with #172. Once you become a celebrity, you know the deal. People don’t want to be famous for no apparent reason, it’s just not something to do. They want the FAME, the ATTENTION, they want to feel like somebody and have people yapping about them daily, only a small percentage of singers/rappers are really passionate about what they do. They like this mess. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t have signed record, movie, clothing, etc deals! I’m sorry but their privacy went out the door when they decided to be “famous”. Point blank. It was their choice. And I also agree with the poster that said if they really wanted privacy, why do it in the capital of all capitals where everything goes down. The paparazzi headquarters?!!
I think she is pregnant too. Why get married in the dead middle of a tour and filming a movie. That’s like running home in the middle of work because you left your cell phone or something. And even if they did get married on the account of her being pregnant…too late, it’s been done. The media will just do the math from the babies birth back to the wedding date. So basically if they not married and it’s all just a stunt, I think she is doing this because she was starting to lose her star power. If you notice, over the past several months, no one was hardly talking about her. She wasn’t on many magazine covers or anything. It was all Rhianna, Miley, Britney, Jordin Sparks….she’s getting up there in age and the next generation is taking over.
