MAG COVERS: STACEY FOR KING MAGAZINE
Wednesday, April 9, 2008

Actress Stacey Dash works it on the cover of the May issue of King magazine. At 42, she is giving these young girls out in Hollywood a run for their money.
Dash is still currently working and will be in a number of films this year. She has just wrapped the two movies Fashion Victim and Nora’s Hair Salon II.

You people are EXTREMELY relevant to the mainstream media, so use your power wisely. Do we need to give free publicity to magazines like KING Magazine? Our image has been damaged let’s keep it decent whenever we HAVE THE POWER TO. Stacey’s body is hot at age 42, good for her, but c’mon CL, let’s not give this kind of press the time of the day on this site.

Dam, she is looking really good!!! , By the way she has two kids, a 17 year old son she had when she was like 16 or 17 and a daughter she had in 2003. She was like in her mid twenties when she did Clueless.
I saw her a couple of months ago in NYC and trust her butt is all hers, and she looks even better in person, really nice personality to.
I think she is a fan of plastic surgery so her looks could be contributed to that. She has had her breast done and when I saw her she looked a little botoxed,,, but who knows… Still looks great!!

I was in walmart the other day, and I saw the latest edition of EBONY MAGAZINE on the shelf, featuring VANESSA WILLIAMS on the cover.
I picked up the magazine, and started leafing through the pages…
Not one half naked woman in sight…
I felt very proud of the fact that Vanessa Williams has “matured” to the point where she no longer feels she has to “expose” herself in order to be “beautiful”
Why is it that our Black Woman feel that in order to feel appreciated and to fill beautiful, they have to show off their “assets” on the cover of a magazine.
I’ve always had a crush on Stacy Dash.
Two of my favorite movies is “Mo Money” & “Clueless”
But, I have to admit,I’m a tad bit dissapointed in her today.
There really is no reason for a married woman with 3 children to be showing her cheeks on the cover of a semi-pornographic magazine….

King Magazine is a magazine that is trying to put accross the message that Black Woman are nothing but Oversexed Big Butt Woman…
I don’t apreciate the stereotype.
I don’t appreciate the images that they are trying to project about OUR community.
Other communities think we (the black community) are nothing but junkies & hoes.
Why reinforce that image in THEIR minds….

This girl body is the shiznit. I’ve always thought that Stacey Dash had more class than to pose for KING magazine. She looks great and very natural. I mean they can say what they want but she looks better than Janet Jackson. She has a natural clean look to her body and face. I think Lisa Raye kills it too. I’ve already started my walking regimen.

I agree totally brother, but you can’t win. If the black man has the sisters dress half-naked, he has no respect for black women. If he asks them to stop dressing like a damn whore, he’s trying to “control” black women. Let them do what they want. They’re “liberated”. Then when the white man calls them “nappy-headed hoes”; they get irate, want to write petitions, blame some rappers, and go on Oprah crying, lol.

Stacey has a teenage son, Austin Williams(1991). So does Garcelle Beavais( Fancy from Jamie Foxx show), Oliver(1991). How do these two ladies pose naked\*ss shots with teenage sons?

Bill, i agree with you that it was unnecessary for her to pose for king. Most people were not surprised because we all saw her earlier nakid pics. I honestly believe that why there is less of a backlash against her is :
1. Because she is older. Sexuality/Purity has always been strictly for the young. society cares little for people deemed older.
2. Because most people are GENUINELY pleasantly surprised (even us women) at how fab she looks for her age.
3. Because of (2&3) above, i personally do not get the impression that the black women that see these pics think to themselves “hmm, when i get to 40, if i’m looking as good as her, i”ll strip for king”
I’m aware of the black woman’s ‘jezebel’ history. I just do not see how this woman posing for King, can be seen as being on par with the gazzilions of images, videos that black male rappers have perpetuated and profited off by using black women’s bodies over the past 14 years.
————————————————————————————————————————–
A small piece on Stacy from here:
http://www.starpulse.com/...sulted_son_before_baring_
Stacey Dash Consulted Son Before Baring All
Stacey Dash only agreed to pose naked for Playboy after her teenage son gave his blessing. The 41-year-old cousin of rap mogul Damon Dash is best known for her role as Alicia Silverstone’s pal Dionne in the hit film Clueless.
She tells Empire magazine, “I asked my 17 year-old son and he was like ‘Okay, Mommy, do it.’”
—————————————————————————————————————
As for this above…i guess its their family their business. I’m surprised he would be ok with it but who knows…maybe he’s one of those artsy kids…ok i’m reaching
but meh who knows? Everyone’s been commenting so i though i’d put the link up.

@Setian
I don’t know how many men have asked black women to dress properly. In 2008, we’re talking about 50 years since the initial cultural change to women dressing more provocatively for attention and vanity (and really to exalt the woman for the purposes of destroying the family unit). We’d have to go back to the late 1950’s and see what the black man’s reaction was to black women dressing that way to gauge it properly. The black man may foolishly give a half-naked woman excessive attention but he did not encourage or teach the black woman to do that initially. The white woman started that at the behest of the white man and black women followed after. At this time we’re living in an age where anything and everything goes and yet people sit back and wonder why there are so many sexual deviants.
The black man has become a massive whoremonger but America encourages casual sex. The black woman has become just as big a whore as the black man is a whoremonger, both spiritually and physically. This summer is coming and it will be difficult to tell the difference between the average woman and a prostitute in Times Square. Like I said, I could care less how little clothing the black woman chooses to wear. Whatever spirit you put out is what you get back. If one chooses to dress like a whore and think like a whore, they will be treated as a whore and justifiably so.

I can’t believe you all think that this is ok when she’s a MOTHER of 2 MALES who have to deal with their friends seeing this and making sexual humorous jokes. How would y’all feel if yout mother posed like this? If you say you wouldn’t have a problem, you must be a perv, female or male if you would like to see your mom half naked. She’s very pretty and looks young, but shouldn’t go this low. I’m not hatin, at all… that’s just how I feel.

Judah you said:
I don’t know how many men have asked black women to dress properly.
————————————————————————————————————————–
Well i can answer that. None. EL ZERO. nil. nada. No one.
Yet there are quite a lot of rappers who have infact done the opposite. I just disagree with your implication that black women as a whole resist attempts by black men to dress ‘properly’ but complain when rappers demean them as if this is done on some sort of equal ground. Heck if many (even half) of black men were down with the “don’t dress like a ho” mentality, RAP as an artform (specifically videos) would be dead.
I have different feelings about how women dress today(i personally dress however i feel like that day) but thats a whole nother topic.

No disrespect to you sis but you can’t answer a damn thing. If you’ve never encountered a black man that knows how a woman should dress, then it’s your loss, but I doubt that you would listen to him anyway. That was the point of what I was telling Bill. Bill just used his post as a platform to speak on how the sisters dress so I guess you can make it one black man huh, lol? You further advanced a point I was making when you spoke about how these rappers are controlled by the record labels in making a certain amount of songs and videos to cater to the black woman showing her ass. The black man has no power to tell the black woman how she should dress, and he definitely hasn’t been taught how he should teach his woman to dress. This is why you can “dress however you want” (codeword for whore). The issue is much deeper than Stacey Dash. Look at how you ended your post. You said you dress how you feel that day, so please don’t act like you have any regard for how a man tells you that you should dress. It’s another cop out. The only time that the black woman gets offended is when the white man rejects her conduct because he controls the money.

Lmao @ all of these hypocrites in here. They all constantly tell someone like Mariah that she’s slutty, tacky, and needs to dress her age, and she’s too old to be doing this, and that, but it’s perfectly fine for Stacey Dash who HAS children, and is in her 40s to have her ass hanging out on the front cover of King mag. Yet the majority here are stating how great she looks for her age, and how nice her ass looks on the front cover on this magazine.
Lmao. Fuckin hypocrites.

Personally I find it hard to say wow go head girl show your ass and not think about the implications it has on black people in America. This kind of stuff confirms what others who are not black in the country what they purcieve to be true about black men and women.
Most other races judge blacks totally different than if it was Paris or Linzey.

Actually, there is a lot of disrespect towards me in your post Judah. You end it by likening me to a whore because i told you i dress how i please. You have made a lot of assumptions in your post.
I’ve met a lot of black men. Most of them do not make it their business to tell women what they should or shouldn’t wear mostly because, in all black societies that i’ve seen (save for African muslims) most men assume that women decide their own dress codes (clubbing, weddings, church clothes, etc) which (like rap videos have done today to some extent) is often influenced by pop culture and has done so for thousands of years. Your post assumes that men SHOULD TELL women what to wear and how as if they are too stupid or whorish (like your attack towards me) to make the right decisions on what to wear on a day to day basis. I wear what i like, how i like and when i like quite fine. Do you consult your woman every day about what you should wear? And if your answer is no, then should i assume that its a code word for ‘whore’ or ‘ a terrible dresser’ or ‘gay’?
Or have i committed the ultimate sin by daring to assume a black woman should tell a black man how to dress! Oh the horror!!
You have hostility towards black women. It is not black women that control the money that makes the rap videos Judah. It is not the black women in the vids who invest in that video in order to build some kind of ‘rep’. No one remembers most video ‘hos/girls’.You are right to some extent though….unless it was some kind of emergency type situation, it is very highly unlikely that i would listen to any man or WOMAN telling me what i should wear for the day. Then again, i don’t hang around insecure, stupid, hypocritical, nut jobs with control issues who have a low opinion of all black women. Neither do i doubt my sense of style

Why do so many women feel that their butt and breast define who they are?
Why do so many women feel showing their bodies will validate their sexiness?
Who are they looking to validate this?
And why don’t women realize that a really good black man would not want to see the beautiful black queen exploited?

#121 You do not find a man to tell you how to dress because he went to college
You learn how to dress on your own. From your mom when you are little, from your mom AND influences from friends as a teenager (usually you’re sneaking that ish) to adulthood where the fashion of the day, religious beliefs, ceremony or event and what you feel like/your sense of style that kicks in when you’re an adult. That varies from persson to person and woman to woman.
Please do not weep for me, I’ll skip the college men’s dress advice thanks!

Ive always thought that Stacy Dash was a very beautiful woman. She proves that you dont have to look hard, worn, or old just because you are in your 40’s. However, I dont neccesarily think that posing scantily clad in king magazine is the hottest thing on earth to do. Not just for a 42 year old woman with children, but it could be a 23 yr old woman with no kids. People should not have to be exposed to the crevices of your poseterior end, in order to draw the conclusion that you are beautiful.

However, you see older white women looking young and sexy in men’s magazines, (Pam Anderson is 40 and men are still hot for her) the media praises it. But if a black women does so, white media ignores it and our own community puts them on the dart board. I think it’s pretty double standard to me.
Like I said I think Stacey is beautiful. It shows that she eats adn lives a healthy lifestyle. It’s a reflection imo that Black people has to lay off the soul food.

@130, please do not take this comment as an attempt to attack or offend. However, we are not responsible for what white people do. Just as it has been proven to us that they are far from accountable for what we do. We are responsible for ourselves. And that is part of the problem. We should NOT just go along with the flow because it is thought by another culture to be acceptable. If we dont STAND for something we will FALL for anything. That is exaclty what is wrong with alot of us now. I dont give a rats ass what Pam Anderson does. Quite frankly, I think that its trifling all across the board. If we (black women) do not demand respect, or dont want men to look at us like peices of meat at a slaughter, then what do WE do to fix it?? We stop giving them reasons to!! Who cares what another culture thinks is cool. We’re not them and theyre not us. Further more, if we dont respect ourselves, or make our men respect us, what do you think people of other races and cultures will do? No offense. Just something to think about.

- We don’t need to go with the flow. We are our own in individuals.
However, I feel that she has to do what she has to do. Then again, she doesn’t really have much of an acting career.

@122 Setian
If your point is that you wouldn’t listen to what a black man said in regards to how you dress, then what the hell is your point, lol? You’ve disrespected yourself far more than you think I did and you’re exhibit A or how self-destructive the mindset is of our people. You obviously just wanted to argue because my comment struck a cord. The truth usually does. Now had you paid attention to my entire commentary instead of cleaving onto one sentence (that you took out of context) you would see that I’ve consistently said that I could care less how the black woman dresses. It would not even be worth a thought had it not been that the Most High tells us how a woman should dress and that’s the perspective that I’m speaking from. It just amazes me that so many black women have this cavalier attitude about how they carry themselves and yet they’re so sensitive in regards to how they’re perceived. If you’re going to dress as a whore don’t get offended by the solicitors. Worse yet, those same sisters have the nerve to have no respect for the black man’s opinion but they feel that he, conversely, should stick up for them when the white man says how he really feels about the black woman. I don’t think so.
The black woman has walked out to the end of the proverbial branch and WHEN it breaks, not if, she wil fall to the ground and be forced to humble herself. Simple as that. If someone saw a young black male with a red bandana hanging out his back pocket, that person would assume that that young man was a gang member. If I see a black or hispanic woman with no underwear on with a pair of jeans hanging off her behind, I must assume that she is a whore. Simple as that, because she is advertising herself as a whore does. Then, hilariously, those same under-dressed women have the nerve to constantly pull up the jeans that they wanted to hang off their ass when they left the house because they’re embarassed by the attention that they lusted after. Buffoonery at it’s best. Stacy Dash is emblematic of the addiction to attention that modern day women have and it goes hand in hand with their insecurity. This is why black people have the highest divorce rate and the lowest marriage rate. Many sisters are consumed with themselves.
Like I’ve also said already, the black man more times than not will not tell you how to dress because a) he hasn’t been taught how a woman should dress, and b) he knows that the black woman will not listen. I never said that black women control the money in rap videos, lol. I don’t know what you’re reading. I find that many black women believe that they are above reproach and when they are told that they may possibly be wrong, they retort by saying that you “hate black women”, lol. If I hated black women like you say, I would say nothing (Galatians 4:16). I would stroke sisters’ fragile egoes until I got from them what I wanted like so many brothers (and men of the other races) do. I’ve never spoke of “all” black women. No man can. The reason why you got offended is because you felt that the sister that dresses whorishly to gain attention and has no intent of listening to what a black man says is you. Our people have become an embarassment, both men and women, and it must be addressed.

I WHOLE HEARTEDLY COSIGN WITH #148 JUDAH!! No one can make me think otherwise, and the sad part about it is that I am a black woman. You people who make foolish attempts at comparing this display of stacey dashes exposition with the same conduct of others, are senseless. I am sorry to say it, but its true. It doesnt matter what magazine she posed in, it doesnt matter WHO chose to do the same exact thing. My outlook on the issue would still be the same. Nothing is more embarrassing than to be in a public place, (the club, the store, ect) and see the way that some of our black women dress and carry themselves. Everything that should be left to the imagination, is right there in your face. The real sadness in it all is that you can randomly catch men fondling them, touching them, and all kinds of unnecessary bull. These same men, (in alot of cases) will often assume that because this female allows it, that others (who may be more respectable) will allow it as well. My biggest issue with this is that the RARITY has now become the NORMALITY and we are now all (as black women) being crunged into this pathetic box. IT SHOULD NOT BE THAT WAY!! We have a responsibilty to respect ourselves at all costs!!! You may say that Stacey Dash, and whomever, looks good half naked sprawled across some mens magazine. But what if it were your wife? Or your sister? OR BETTER YET YOUR MOTHER?? Would you feel the same way then? Have we lost sight all together of what is supposed to be sacred? because “TV” and “The MEDIA” has made you eat up their garbage, and you now believe that there is nothing wrong with this. THERE IS SOMETHING VERY WRONG WITH IT, AND I DONT CARE WHO DISAGREES!! AND AS JUDAH SPOKE OF IN HIS COMMENT, IT IS FOR CRAP LIKE THIS THAT WE ARE VIEWED AS A COMICAL PEOPLE. WE ALLOW OTHERS TO GUIDE US INTO “WHATS IN” , EVEN IF “WHATS IN” IS “WHATS WRONG”. AND THEN WE MAKE CLOWNS OF OURSELVES, AND SIT BACK AND WONDER WHY THE WORLD POINTS AND LAUGHS.

@148 i agree that if you dress like a whore you can’t expect a man to give you respect. why is it that a lot of women don’t understand that? there’s another reason why black women have the lowest marriage rate. because a lot black women just shack up and have sex with there boyfriends. Live with them for years have kids, then one day she realize she’s tried of playing house and want to make it official. He don’t want get married now he like the way things are going now(I MEAN WHY BUY THE COW WHEN YOU GET THE “MILK” FOR FREE). she keep pressing him about it and just split leaving her with the babies. i now it happens in other races but it on a higher scale with black women.

Judah please follow the ball and try (as hard as you can) to act with some sort of intergrity, honesty and fairness. At this point, you have simply put words in my mouth to suit your ‘blame a black woman for everything’ agenda.
Let us start from the beginning shall we? This is what you wrote:
————————————
“@Bill
I agree totally brother, but you can’t win. If the black man has the sisters dress half-naked, he has no respect for black women. If he asks them to stop dressing like a damn whore, he’s trying to “control” black women. Let them do what they want. They’re “liberated”. Then when the white man calls them “nappy-headed hoes”; they get irate, want to write petitions, blame some rappers, and go on Oprah crying, lol.”
—————————————
And i stayed on topic and responded to this saying:
——————————–
“Judah and Bill, how many black men have asked black women to stop dressing like a whore vs the images rappers spew everyday?
How many?”
Are you following the ball so far?
——————————-
The reason why i asked you this is because your comment above makes the assumption that there is some kind of war going on where you have all these black men desperate to stop black women from dressing like ‘whores’ yet they are ignored by these (i suppose evil?) black women. And then black women cry to oprah about rappers for demeaning them. I disagreed with this FALSE implication and asked you a simple question. Now, you ran and decided to act like a little sewer rat accusing me of being a whore because according to your reasoning, my choice to dress myself (a complete stranger to you BTW), must be flawed and that the implied right thing to do would be to wait for instruction from a black man on what i should wear for the day. Someone else suggested a black man from college
How are you going to question my two sentences towards the rest of your post when i very specifically made it clear that i was addressing your first comment and why?
I asked you a question. Who dresses your ass? Your mama? Who? Please answer this question. Couples sometimes dress each other you know. Its cute
But with all the bile you came to me with, i really don’t think thats what you ment.
So…..um….who dresses your ass? The UPS guy? Your dog? I’m serious. Who dresses you?
Now look at this last classic one:
“The reason why you got offended is because you felt that the sister that dresses whorishly to gain attention and has no intent of listening to what a black man says is you.”
Gee i have to say, your ass sure fights like a chick huh? So spiteful sheesh! Again, now how did you come to this conclusion oh Judahmizzcleo? Don’t whine about ‘you just want to argue with me’ when questioned. You are the one who made the FALSE claims and then hurled abuse.
I don’t understand cowards. Why do you people bully people, then bitch when called out for it?
This is why i say that JUDAH JUDAH JUDAH, YOU HAVE GREAT HOSTILITY TOWARDS BLACK WOMEN.
Black women have done and continue to do things that are harmful to the community but I will say it again (knocks on wood), no matter how much the black woman pains you Judah, she is not the one that profits, peddles or sells the rap video image to the world. She does not control the money and neither does she have anything much to gain from it. Black male rappers do. To suggest that in there has
been an equally vocal sort of black male movement trying to stop this is laughable. Jay-z is king to many of y’all. To claim that you would in any way defend any black woman from anything aka sticking up for one, is laughable as well. Do not lie.
Everything else you mentioned (why there is a high divorce rate, women wearing thongs sticking out etc is your opinion and i personally have my own various opinions
on these topics but if it was not addressed, then you should have asked before making assuptions that i (or anyone else) agreed or disagreed. I made it clear
to you from the beggining what and why i oppossed.
You did strike a nerve here because you lied. You tried to blame black women for the things that rappers (black males) have done;something, that it seems, you are incapable of acknowledging without somehow trying to blame black women for this. The truth stands.
Stop lying and i dress as i please when i like how i like and this is good oh ye of little understanding. The end.

Sis, the more you respond with nonsense, the more you expose your stupidity and bitterness. I’ve actually tried to be civil with you because it was obvious from your first attempt at a retort what type of mentality you were dealing with. That confusion known as “feminism”, i.e. pseudo-lesbianism a.k.a. man hate. You’ve asked me many idiotic questions. Only an idiot asks idiotic questions. You’re lucky that I even responded to a question like, “How many black men have asked black women to stop dressing like whores?”. How can anyone qualify a silly question like that? That’s like asking, “How many people like steak? How many 5′11″ people are there on planet earth? Who has the brownest eyes in Africa?”. Now if your question was percentage based and you were trying to say that there are far more black men that are in favor of black women being under-dressed than there are black men in favor of women dressing properly, that’s obvious. I answered that also when I said that the black man himself has not been taught who he is, much less how his woman should be dressed. That answer was not good enough for you because it was above and beyond your level of comprehension and indicative of this generation of black people’s total ignorance about their own history. I attempted to answer you by giving you the history on the change in female attire in accord with the white man’s feminist movement , at no point “blaming the black woman”, but that was not good enough for you because a chord was struck and (once again) it was above and beyond your level of comprehension, lol. The issues that I speak of are societal issues but you’ve decided to take everything personal which only shows that you have unresolved issues in your life.
You accused me of “lying”, lmao, but you yourself lied when you said that you’ve never met a man that broached the subject of female attire when Bill just had. At least I hope you were lying but then again, like I’ve said, how one dresses and conducts themself attracts a certain type of person.Just the fact that you used “Jay-Z”, Satan-worshipper and closeted homosexual that he is, as an example of black malehood shows me how perverted and skewed your perspective is, and it’s sad. You’re too silly to understand how silly you are. I don’t know if you know this, but there are black men that stand up for righteousness to the best of their ability and they’re not on BET, MTV, ESPN, or the club. I guess those are the only places you’re accustomed to seeing black men at.
Then you came back and cut yourself again when you said that you wouldn’t listen to a black man anyway, lmao. No disrespect to you sis, once again, but I don’t have to lie to you. The proof is in the pudding when one reads what’s on the lines instead of trying to read between them. Never did I mention a “war” going on between the average black man and woman in regards to the black woman’s attire, nor did I speak on the black man controlling how his woman dresses, but you assumed and inferred that because you obviously have issues with black male authority for whatever reason. When you read my comment 113 again, please do, you’ll see that I’ve never attributed any power to the black woman so I have no idea where you came up with that one or why you perpetuate it. Probably to help bolster your claim about hatred for the black woman, lol. I mentioned the record labels. Everyone knows that the white jews control the record industry. Everyone except you I guess. I guess you must think that black women run record labels, lmao, so you assumed (erroneously yet again) that I was talking about the black woman.
You got irate when I analyzed your comment about how you dress, when you yourself put yourself out there (showing that it is a personal issue with you, lol) but look at the last silly sentence in your silly post. You seem like you’re crying out for help because you know that you’re off as hell but you’re too proud to admit it. lol. Honestly sis, this whole interplay is unnecessary, but hilarious, revealing, and good for the edification of all of us so I’ll use you as my foil until you come to your senses. When I spoke on the divorce rate etc., that commentary was in general and, once again, not directed towards you. You would see that if you READ an stop being obsessed with yourself. I’ve never solicited your opinion nor do I want it, lol. It is irrelevant to me. Black people that see and know what is going on know that it isn’t about the black male against the black woman, but black people that see what is going on against those that don’t. You obviously don’t, or don’t want to which is how I know that you’re one of those simple-mided, counter-productive negroes trying to mix your own personal philosophy with what you think is right, which is not relevant to societal problems. I don’t need to be “spiteful”, your commentary informs me of what and who I’m dealing with, your issues, and lack of intelligence. I mentioned that the “black man” can’t win, which he cannot because he a) has no self-knowledge which means that the ignorance will become self-hate and b)he has no power in this society. I notice that one can criticize the black man without a backlash but when the black woman and the other races have their turn to be rebuked, all hell breaks loose and you’re a “racist”, a “misogynist”, and “ignorant”, lmao. I wonder why that is?
It’s obvious that I have to; and have had to, reiterate myself to you and it’s unfortunate but some people don’t digest the lesson the first time it is taught. In regards to false claims; they’re false according to your vain opinion, and quite frankly, you’ve done nothing to defend your lack of a point. I don’t care how you dress sis, as I’ve already said too many times. Too each their own. In regards to who dresses me, lol, the scriptures tell both men and women how they should dress (Deut 22:5, Ezek 16:10-14, I Tim 2:9) . I don’t see men wearing dresses unless they’re a sexual deviant. The Lord has always had the men wear pants, or as they were called in the scriptures, “breeches” (Lev 6:10). Contrary to what the television teaches you sis, the black woman is not a threat to anyone, she is not going to lead any societal changes. She is a pawn to be used, used, and used again against her community and the black male. She is an irreplaceable asset to herself, the black man, and the Most High when she understands who she is, which 90% of sisters do not. The black woman’s power as queen is only relevant when she understands that the black man is the king. Our people will only go as far as we can when we are on one accord, not the black woman trying to one up the black man at every turn and misuse the superfluous influence that the white man gives her when the goal is to cause confusion and division. This was the point of the feminist revolution, but once again I’m sure, it will fall on deaf ears. Lastly, in regards to dogs dressing someone, it’s funny that you say that because the scriptures tell us that a “shameless woman” shall be counted as a dog (Ecclesiasticus 26:25 in the Apocrypha). A shameless woman conducts herself independent of the Word of the Lord and with no regard to the divine order. We all know what a female dog is.

Despite whatever level of photoshopping going on, Stacey looks good for her age, heck she looks good for mine. But the truth of the matter is King is a T&A mag and when you go from an actress in a cult classic movie (and television spinoff) to booty popping for King, you are truly going downhill and grasping at the last straws of fame.
What I don’t like about things like this is that nearly all black men’s magazines have T&A all over the cover. Either that, or gangsta wanna be thug rappers. THIS is the image of what black men read, what black men like. The decent, intellectual black magazines are aimed at other issues and at the general, or educated or professional black community.
But Black MEN– All T&A. Yes, that’s what brothers want and sisters are eager to serve it up.
Work out, keep it tight, but the truth is when a lot of men see Stacey’s cover the thought is really about how many different ways they want to lay the pipe, not what a beautiful and talented woman she is. Black women covet the body because for too many of us, our priority is in being able to project a hyper sexualized image to attract a man, and not attract him with much else. These comments are a good example. Because if the best you can do is to give a butt shot for King, well… then it only goes downhill from there.
