I still have to get use to Keshia not playing the innocent role in Beauty Shop. Tyler, on the other hand is making bIg moves – this is the second film he is working on this year along with The Family That Preys – which already has an all star cast including Sanaa Lathan, Robin Givens, and Jennifer Hudson

If you ask me KEISHA aint got to try to “shake” the Rudy Huxtable image because if a mofo didn’t tell me that was her grown- I wouldn’t recognize her. Raven looks like Olivia grown.
Keisha looked cuter as a kid and she better have somethin up her sleeve or work her ass off in this Tyler P. jump off because seriously- don’t come effin up the tyler p joints with mediocre acting. Please!
Tyler P need to put Marlon wayans in one of his movies LOL he so cute

Only Tyler Perry movie worth seeing was Why Did I Get Married?- but that was only barely. His plays are better. I think I’m gonna pass on the rest of his movies.

Not to hate on Thandie because I am a fan, but wouldn’t Kimberly Elise be a better fit? Just a thought….

Marlon is one the most talented individuals ever in the entertainment industry. No one should be surprised by a comedian doing drama. Any honest actor will tell you that, comedy is the hardest of all to do.
Look at Tyler Perry. Any black folks who want to tell you that there’s been no progress for black folks ( and believe me, those fools are out there) is just insane. This guy is doing his thing. But so are the Wayan brothers, Spike Lee, Latifah, Diddy., and on and on. These people control the projects, so they don’t just make upfront money, they make the real money: on the back end.

I don’t know about the movie.. but I just saw his play marriage counselor and it was hilarious… Got to get that one on dvd

I think ya’ll are over-exaggerating. Diary of a Mad Black Woman was good, Family Reunion was descent, Daddy’s Little Girls was good(the ending was a little cheesy but still good), Why Did I Get Married was great, Meet the Browns??? Okay, only one film was questionable. The stories in the film were authentic. Alot of Tyler’s stories are based on struggles of real people. It’s nothing negative about Tyler’s films. Where there are negative characters in his films there are also positive.

Thadi is too pretty to play Condi.

Real talk- if anyone on here knows Tyler… have him call me…. seems like if you work for him once, you always got a job….. First “Rudy” was on his TV show and now a movie… he does that with most of his TV/ movie/ play friends!

    Marlon looks good here!

    Get it Thandie!

Yes @ Keisha getting her acting game on in a TP production. Yes @ there being a movie made about Bush’s sinister ass. I will be given up that 6 dollars to see them.

  10. Kia

I’m pretty sure Keisha doesn’t want to play the same role all the time. Even Halle started out playing a crackhead, and she was damn good at it too! Maybe Keisha likes representing for the black films, so you can’t knock her for that.

Channing is fine! Marlon is looking better and better the older he gets.
