I never noticed her teeth in her videos. I’m really, really shocked about the hair comment considering short hair is so in right now. I don’t think it’s a tomboy style for her. I agree with the label, as sad as it is that looks make or break a career the reality of it is that most of the people who agree with Estelle probably wont buy her album (its excellent btw). In order to do well in the entertainment business you need to have a certain look, or at least look slightly attractive

There is absolutely nothing wrong with her hair, it works well for her. It sets her apart. I will say that having worked in a doctor’s office, dental healthy is important. The doctor I interned with told me that lack of proper dental care is tied to heart disease, but it is her choice.

I have to agree with her label execs. I seen her at a show her in Cleveland on Teusday at a small venue. I was in the front right by her and the first thing I noticed was her hair. I saw Estelle live last Friday & did not know about this controversy until yesterday. I must say that I am disappointed with the choice she has to make.

Although I find relaxed hair in general not desirable, I thought her style was good & worked for her.

In regards to her oral situation, she currently has braces or something like that so maybe she is seeing a benefit. Regardless to how her teeth look, the woman can throw down & that is most important to me.

It’s sad to see how female artists with darker complexions are treated.
