I’m glad to see that T.I. is featured on this remix! He has supposedly been working on his new album, Paper Trail after being on house arrest. But we have seen him out and about with his honey Tiny. The video for the new Polow Da Don-produced single from Usher’s upcoming release, Here I Stand was just released yesterday, featuring the beautiful and talented Keri Hilson and now the remix is following. This song has grown on me intensely – from all the radio, club and car play.

As Chris Brown gears up for the re-release of his sophomore album, Exclusive, he releases a new single from the set entitled “Forever,” produced by Polow Da Don. This song has a more club, house-driven sound. I really actually kind of dig it. I think they made some poor single decisions for Chris Brown’s album (even though “With You” is currently one of the most played songs in the country), and it took it a minute to jump off, but I think this is definitely the direction that he should go in. I love the vocal arrangement, Chris just sounds a lot more mature to me. I’m hoping that he adds some more track similar to this for the re-release of Exclusive, which will hit shelves June 3rd, via Jive.

About Usher’s remix…You can look at it two ways: The first is that Usher wanted a remix with TI because he’d like to “pick” at Justin (who’s actually his friend. but I’m thinking after Justin’s gotten so big, the competition is a little less friendly) since the beat sounds just like Justin’s “My Love,” a song he did with TI OR the second: Usher’s peeps thought TI would help push Usher’s attractive man image…two attractive men on a song, talking about “love in this club” as opposed to one (meaning minus Jeezy lol)

Usher and TI have been cool for wayyyy longer than JT has even been relevant to R&B. TIP been in ATL for a minute and been knowing JD forever who Usher is close to as well so they probably been knowing one another since the 90′s. Go peep TI’s video for Rubberband Man — Usher is in that video — and then go flip it back to Welcome to ATL with JD & Luda… you’ll see the both of them there too. Ain’t nobody thinking about JT and him & Usher probably aint that close of friends either. JT don’t hang out with black folk besides Pharrell & Timbaland.
