Tweet is gorgeous, and even more so in person. I saw her in concert, and her looks and voice sounded just like the CDs. Got both of her albums and still play them out to this day!

This should be interesting. I really liked her first album. It’s really sad that good artists can’t shine like they are supposed to. But I think due to fact that she came out the same year with the Ashanti/Ja Rule she was not able to get the attention she deserves.

She is my FAVOOORIITE female artist but I don’t get how she allows herself to be basically sabotaged…What was up with Missy acting like an idiot on “Turn the Lights Off” and then 50 Cent on the remix talking crazy??? And, then the new song “My Dear” where TI sung more than her!!??!!! I love Tweet and I played “Southern Hummingbird” until someone took it away lol but I can’t get with the way she allows herself to be mangled…

It’s great to see Tweet getting madd love…I really do miss her and can’t wait for the new album…And yes I still do play both Southern Hummingbird and It’s Me Again on a regular basis. I can only imagine all of the politics and behind the scene sh*t that she may be going through as this album was supposed to be released on next Tuesday 8th April…but such is life. Whenever it drops, I’ma still support her regardless…she is one of the few true soul artist not in the game right now…gotta “Love, Tweet”.

with #57, well put…but like i said, I’m sure there is a lot more going on behind the scene that is beyond her control. I can only imagine…Hopefully, the next go round they (whomever that may be) will allow her to be true to her craft and express her true self–just like they allowed her to do on Southern Hummingbird.

(side note: I noticed that she took down all of her songs on her myspace page except “I’m Done” from It’s Me Again. I sure hope that she isn’t sending a subliminal message about how she feels about the music industry right now. I know it’s hard for the real talent to make it out here, but some of us are truly disenchanted with the state of music right now. I no longer look forward to new releases on Tuesdays anymore…Remember the 90’s??? )

Thats true, but let’s be real, Ja and Ashanti fell off big time after 2003/4.

Tweet *could* be big, but she has never had the right promotion, especially for her last album. Southern Hummingbird was fairly successful, in the circumstances. I mean, with that album she surprised everyone, cause we thought she’d be doin more tracks like Oops (Oh My) and Call Me, but it had more soul and smooth slow jams on it!! I think that she needs to stay away from Hip-Hop altogether, and stick to pure R&B.
