I understand that Chris is trying to go the euro-pop music route(hence the leading girl in the video) but that doesn’t mean it’s gonna work for him. Rihanna does the euro-pop stuff because it works for her- it fits her style. If she tries the R&B stuff, it doesn’t work and she flunks[ala "Take A Bow"]. She doesn’t have the urban appeal. Chris, on the other hand, has both the mainstreem AND urban appeal so I don’t get why he’s overly doing it by putting this crap out.

I dig the Plies and Neyo song.

-I love CB but its true about his videos. Nothing is wrong with light skinned girls. Nothing is wrong with brown skinned girls. What is wrong is when there is only one color that is portrayed in almost all the videos we see nowadays.People do complain that black women are exploited in videos because they are EXPLOITED. The other girls are shown as the true objects of desire/affection. Like it ornot, what I’m sayin is the truth. Some of yall say they’re just doing that because race doesn’t matter to them but its obvious it does, just in a different waybecause they simply only portray any race they can except for their own. #158, I completely agree with you. You never seen Latino, Caucasian, or Asian artists use us in their videos, so why should we try to continue to use them in ours. There are a ton of beautiful African-American women of all colors in the world and it’s sad that many people do not see our true beauty because their other races are glorified all the the time. It makes me really sad. Because people like Ray-J and this new cat named Gator (one of Travis McCoy’s (from Gym Class Hereos) and this dude named Schwayze have nothing but caucasian girls in their videos.

Heck, the only caucasian artist to feature an African-American model (actually she’s mixed, but she looks more black than anything) is Justin Timberlake and I forgot about Robyn Thicke (his wife Paula Patton was in his video) and Jon B., but you don’t see any others having us in their videos.

I can’t stand Plies song “Bust It Baby”, they took a nice beat and messed it up with his rapping and lyrics. But on the other hand, I love The Dream’s song “I Love Your Girl”, but the video could have been better, but the beat is just hot too death.
