Rihanna has released her latest video for the Take A Bow single from her new CD Good Girl Gone Bad Re-release. The CD will hit stores May 27 featuring remixes of her platinum selling album.

I agree with your comment and you can actually say that about any artist out right now ex: Rihanna, Ciara, Ashanti, Beyonce, Danity Kane, etc. Some have better voices that other but if you put them in something that wasn’t revealing on a stage and sat them in a chair people would get bored with them. It is all about sex sells. I would say Alicia Keys is very successful without having to wear very revealing clothing.Tamia is one of the best singers out and her albums are great, but she is also a wife that is not willing to do certain things for the industry. She’s in it purely for the music. The list can go on with other great artists less successful because they are not selling sex.

Take a bow is going to peak in the top 3 on the billboard charts just because its a rihanna track. The rihanna brand is very powerful right now all of her songs gets mad airplay and they always chart high. Internationally although this track has more of an american flavour it will still end up being in the top 10 in most charts in Europe and the rest of the world because of the Rihanna brand which has a very international appeal. She’s the “it” girl right now. However, when Rihanna decides to release what will be her 2nd international smash it after Umbrella hopefully this summer everyone will be Breakin Dishes from here to Europe to Australia and South America.

@185 Irreplaceable was Beyonces biggest single and she had on clothes in the video and when she sings it onstage so your point is kinda whopsided. I know people like to include her in a list like yours but be for real. The girl is way more than that. Shes hella talented and been in the game for about 12 years so apparently its more than sex. Not all who “sell sex” are successful or sale records Ex: Rihanna, Cassie, Ashanti, Amerie, Christian Milian, etc. And Tamia has been half naked in her videos before too and Alicia just admitted to doing her most sexual song yet so everyone is “selling sex” in some type of way. I think you are taking my words in the wrong fashion and being defensive for no reason over Beyonce. My goodness she is a entertainer like the rest. I never said that she had no talent. Does she have the best no. Can she be successful without selling sex obviously not in my opinion if they haven’t done it. 12 years is great to be in the game and all 12 years the whole DC have been selling sex. Selling sex doesn’t exactly mean making a song about being sexual so your Alicia Keys example is irrelevant at this point. What I was saying was that many of these stars as I listed above would not be successful without selling sex. You can’t just single out Rihanna and leave out the rest because you favor them more. Don’t care how much talent you feel Beyonce has. You can’t sit her in a chair fully clothed for more than 2 songs without getting bored and I noticed this when I went to see her in concert. Talented yes she is, but don’t condemn one and not the others. It is not fair is all I am saying. None of the ladies in this game at this time had good voices when they first started. They all went through vocal training and some obviously came out better than others possibly because of more time spent in the game. That’s why I don’t understand people comparing Rihanna and Beyonce when Beyonce has had 12 years worth of training. They even did an interview with DC vocal trainer who said that their voices weren’t strong and they needed a lot of help. Ashanti is now going through her training, Rihanna and Ciara probably will too but they are early birds so give them some time and give them a chance.
