Well I guess I will be the first to say it, sounds different, sounds alternative, sounds like another Kelly production. So why is it that this song gets so much love, but Kelly’s Daylight song is considered wack? I mean I am a DESTINY’S CHILD fan, so I will support all of its members (including Latoya). But I am still not convinced about Michelle R&B album being better than Kelly’s. Sorry until I hear something else i have to say this is weak. No I like “Stop This Car”. That song is hot. But I don’t see the difference between Daylight and this song. But once again because Kelly is the darkskin one with a sense of fashion, she will always be the underdog. Well i like michelles new everything. To be honest i liked Michelles Gospel albums better then kelly’s r&b albums. I think they pushed michelle williams album so far back because like everyone said, she IS the least favorite liked Destinys Child member (ugh) and they probably feel they would have to do way more promotion with her. I think if they use the right marketing formula for michelle then she should do really good. I

#24 I don’t think Michelle’s album will do any better/worse than Kelly’s. I am a brown-sugar girl and I don’t think Kelly’s complexion has anything to do with it. Besides, Kelly looks WAY better than Michelle. I agree with the “silly songs” you mentioned however, “Told yall I was gonna bump like this” was annoying as hell.

Michelle has always been my favorite DC3 member since she joined! She’s got so much personality. The girl cracks me up. And her voice is very different/distinctive. I love her and wish her all the best! The video is gonna be hot judging from these pics.

I agree w/ the comment about Kelly and Michelle having virtually the same sound. Why are people vibing on Michelle and not Kelly?! I think the thing that hurts Kelly is that everyone sees more of a comparison w/ Kelly and Beyonce than Michelle. Michelle never got a chance to do much of anything, so to see her do anything at all makes it exciting.

But I do agree, Michelle’s sound is not better than Kelly. I think we should support both of these women. Let’s not forget that not everyone supports Beyonce because of her songs, cause most of her B-Day was whack, but because of who she is…lets do the same for these ladies.

I don’t think Kelly & Michelle have the same sound. I think Kelly has a better voice than Michelle but I think she has been marketed as a Bey knockoff and Michelle has always kinda stood in the background not competing with anyone but herself. And it’s a helluva lot easier to compete against yourself rather than compete with the Knowles machine.

in all honesty all im a big fan of dc but kelly is my favorite!! We Break the Dawn and Daylight are about the same exact thing-clubing and having a good nite out until the early morning hours hence the name break the dawn and it u clearly listen to kelly’s song DAYLIGHT its the exact same message-stayin up til the early morn!!!!! DUh - same concept different artists. i like both songs and will support both ladies but kelly is still my girl!!!

I like this song and I agree that I loved Kelly’s also so I really don’t see the difference in song but I see the difference in people. II think Kelly spends too much time talking about mathew, tina, and beyonce knowles instead of promoting her stuff. Michelle although a DC member, she kinda seperates herself to still remind people tht she can also be an individual artist and I think that’s what makes people vibe to her a little more than Kelly.
